Is it the best sandwich in the world? Nah, there are def. better sandwiches out there. Is it cheap? Heck yes. Buy 2 get 1 free is ALWAYS a good deal. I've been getting these sandwiches for over a decade and they never fall short. We usually come here strapped with cash, but they do take card now if your order is over $10. Is there a little bit of a language barrier when you order? Yeah, but that's how you know you're getting the legit stuff! Nothing a bit of pointing and numbers won't fix. The banh mi itself always hits the spot. You can also buy their freshly made bread. If you're saving your banh mi for later, opt to get the vegetables on the side and stick that bad boy in an air fryer on a different day. Do expect a bit of a wait though as there's always people around waiting for sandwiches and they're just constantly churning those sandwiches out.

Important to note: this is not the same as their full restaurant next door, so don't mix them up.--Service (3/5):The ladies behind the counter are all business--don't expect smiles or answers to your questions. While I had no issues ordering, the "cash-only" policy and some unclear menu rules (like the buy-two-get-one-free deal only applying to items #1-#12) could catch you off guard if you're not prepared.--Food (4/5):The buy-two-get-one-free deal is unbeatable at $12 flat. My order of three sandwiches came out in less than five minutes. I went with the #5 BBQ Pork, and it was definitely a standout: *Bread: Soft yet slightly crisp, a great foundation for the sandwich.*Filling: The BBQ pork was flavorful with a smoky, slightly sweet profile. The veggies--carrots, daikon, and cilantro--were fresh and well-portioned. A few slices of jalapeño added a nice kick.It's not quite at the level of the banh mi I've had in Vietnam, but for SoCal, it's one of the better options I've tried. Definitely beats out Lee's Sandwiches & their rock-hard bread by a mile.Overall:If you're looking for quick, tasty, and affordable banh mi in the area, this is a great choice. My favorite banh mi here is the egg banh mi with pork roll and pate. They do a good job on this.I'd like it without the mayo/butter spread but more pate instead.I also like to pick up a few desserts and jello when I'm here.Don't expect much service at these places though. They're busy and just want to collect your money and quick onto next customers. :)

They have 2 locations at the same site. One is a sit down restaurant with drive thru and the other is the old location with just the walk up sandwich basics.

The friendly service, low prices, and food quality are very good! B2G1 free Banh Mi sandwiches with a great selection in sub or baguette size.Also, they have hot meals with rice for you to choose: 3 meat dishes or 4 vegetarian dishes for only $8.50!They have family seating available and the place is quiet enough to carry on a conversation.

Went to the smaller building, unlike other reviews I found everything was fresh. Food was good, but they make sandwiches to order so don't expect them to be fast. Worth the wait though !

Not to be confused with the resto in the next parking lot over with the exact same name, but my review is based on the "take out" spot right next to Jack in the Box. Not only does this place have great deals on delicious banh mi (in French bread or baguettes), but they also have THE BEST tasting eggrolls in my humble opinion. Not all eggroll fillings are the same, and theirs is next level!*Someone please prove me wrong, and I will definitely try your spot for the best eggrolls, promise!*You walk into this fairly small interior and will see many prepackaged baked goods and ready-to-eat little meals. Inside the glass counter are many sticky desserts, which I'm sure are delicious but have yet to try. The nice cashier takes your order and reads it back to you, so there's no misunderstanding or confusion with your order. The ladies making the sandwiches however may not be the fastest, so just be sure to pack your patience! It's worth the wait!! ;))The breads are made fresh there daily. My "go to" is the BBQ pork baguette (no. 25), or two no. 5s with my freebie being a no. 9! For me, the common denominator here is the BBQ pork...lol...but please try their eggrolls too (they run out quick!). Okay, hurry go! :))Note: Cash only

The BEST Vietnamese sandwiches in Orange County!! Delicious, reasonably priced, and so fast! We've been going here since my son was a baby (and the employees were always so sweet with him!) - 17 years later, we're states away, but every time we visit, we stop in! Love it!!

I keep going for the chicken soup pho. It's good for the price. Im always happy eating the pho here. Same comments really as others - affordable, decent quality, customer service is meh but I'm there for getting something decent at a lower price ngl. If its any help it lags behind Lee's a hair I would say but better deals imho.
