Ok food. Terrible service. Absolutely no ambiance. Don't expect too much. Price has been going up and portion has been shrinking.

The sandwiches here were disgustingly sad like Diddy in jail with no baby oil dry as the sahara desert. The banh mi here is not food its poison to help control the over population do not eat here. I came in last night and ordered a dac biet with extra butter and no pate I said it in english and Vietnamese apparently the guy taking my order couldn't understand either. My sandwich was depressing like it got dumped by its first girl friend just sad. I took one bite and could feel the sadness it with held and had to throw it away. A second would have killed me for sure. Again do not eat here this place does not sale edible food.

Affordable Asian fast food. Quality is so so but fast and has variety options with quick serve. Been there many years and never been disappointed their clients.

Friendly employees. Food was okay. Open late. I always liked Vietnamese desserts so may come back for late night snacks

So I know you get what you pay for, but this is pretty ridiculous that it compelled me to make a review. I paid for a large, and the lady asked me if she could use a smaller cup since I asked for no ice. I'm not sure why she asked me because even she looked uncomfortable handing me a half filled drink. So, lesson learned don't ask for no ice unless you want half a drink in a smaller size.

You go here for cheap Vietnamese take out food, not service. It's a good classic Vietnamese sandwich place for affordable and fast take out food. Their best deal is the sandwiches and their chicken pho. It's not mind-blowing by any means but for the price... it's a steal. The sandwiches are solid - my favorite is the Thịt Nuong with a baguette. Just set your expectations on what this place is. It's cheap and fast food. Although there's dining space, that's kind of a life choice you're making. Overall, fine. Not bad, not amazing.

Driving home late from Los Angeles on a Sunday night, we were in the mood for some Vietnamese street food. Banh Mi Che Cali Bakery & Restaurant was not far off the 405 ... and open. This was our second visit -- the last time was six weeks ago for Phở Gà (Vietnamese chicken noodle soup). Tonight we tried two of their Bún dishes:Bún Tôm Thịt Nướng Chả Giò (4/5) -- This is a Vietnamese rice noodle (bún) dish with barbecued pork (thịt nướng) and shrimp (tôm). The barbecued pork was very good, but the shrimp were a little "fishy". ($9.50)Bún bò Huế (3/5) -- This is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, with rice noodles (bún), sliced beef (bò) and chả lụa (Vietnamese pork sausage). The version served here had good depth of flavor, but lacked the traditional spiciness and pork knuckles that I enjoy. ($9.50)We ordered our food at the counter and found a table inside -- there's no outdoor seating.  At 8:00 pm, most of the tables were empty.  It did not take long for our food to arrive at our table. There are not enough staff to serve customers, resulting in long lines and wait times.- One employee handles multiple roles, including taking orders over the phone, working the cashier, and managing the drive-through, leading to significant delays.- When asked to warm up bread, an employee refused, showing a lack of willingness to accommodate basic requests.Pricing and Advertising: * A bowl of chicken soup is advertised at $12, with a 50% off deal bringing it to $6. However, they serve a small bowl instead of the standard size, which feels like false advertising.**Overall Experience:**- The overall service is poor and needs significant improvement.- The establishment would benefit from new management and better training for staff.- Due to the bad service and low-quality food, I would not recommend stopping by this place.**Chất lượng của thức ăn:**- Đồ ăn rất rẻ nhưng chất lượng lại cực kỳ kém. I've been buying sandwiches here buy 2 get one free for $12 for the past 5 years because I live behind the business. Sacrificed for convenience.I drove through and bought 2 grilled pork and 1 special combo sandwiches as usual. Went home cut half of the sandwich (on diet) and accidentally burnt it. I was going to consolidated the meat to the other half and realized that the meat was bad and had a sour taste. I took the sandwiches back and told them it was bad. They opened it and saw the burnt bread and accused me of burning it and returning the unwanted sandwiches. I told her the meat was bad. The lady didn't believe me and took the meat out and ate it on the spot (gross! Perhaps I spat in it?). She continued to say there was nothing wrong with the meat, and refused to exchange the sandwiches until I raised my voice. I told her that she's just a worker. Would she continue to bicker over something that costed a dollar to the owner? It's not her money, not her store so why is she stingy over 2 sandwiches. She said she needed to contact the owner. I said go ahead call the owner and I'll talk to him/her. She called the owner and she decided to refund me $12. I told her refund is not needed. I only needed to exchange for another 2 sandwiches. She rudely said that I would burn it again and returned it once more. This angered me. Just to top it off, the cashier handed me $12 but slam it on the counter. I told the lady to give it to me nicely and not slamming the money. "You ladies made a big deal over two stupid sandwiches which probably costs the owner $1. I'll take my money and support other businesses. This is unprofessional and ghetto!" The lady in the pic slammed the money. I couldn't take a pic of the big eyes dark skin tone lady who grossly ate the touched sandwich.
