Food: 9/10 I chose the #13 Banh Cuon Thit, which consists of pork steamed rice rolls. The dish came with a variety of items on the plate, including an eggroll, steamed and fried pork ham, fried prawn cake, and fried yam. This was my second time trying banh cuon, and it did not disappoint! I also enjoyed sampling all the new items that came with it. They provided fish sauce on the side, perfect for drizzling (or drowning) over everything while eating.Cost: 10/10 The total was $12.99 before tip, which is an amazing deal! Such a great assortment of food for such a low price. Plus, they even included sweet tea on the house!

Authentic Vietnamese Banh Cuon - A Must-Try Spot! This place is so good--one of the best I've had for authentic Vietnamese dishes. Bánh Cuốn Đặc Biệt - The best bánh cuốn I've ever had! The egg-rolled crepes and sweet potato on top were a perfect touch. I just wish the pork chả lụa was a bit fresher. Bánh Bèo - Authentic and decent Bánh Canh - One of the best! The crab meat was visible, and the broth was thick and slurp-worthy. Service: Efficient and quick. Ambiance: Simple, no-frills, but all about the food.If you're craving truly authentic Vietnamese bánh cuốn and bánh canh, this spot is worth the visit!

Super friendly place. With great hostesses and staff. I had been here over 4yrs and it's my go to place for banh cuon thit nuong (steamed roll w/ grilled meat). Great parking area, clean & simple place with food pics hanging on the walls, can be packed if you came late or breakfast or weekend. The foods are delicious and very tasty plus big portion too. If you come enough time, they will remembered you (your family) and your orders.

When you come to any small mom and pop shop and see a line, you know the food won't disappoint. The food here is absolutely PHENOMENAL! This is good place whether you're craving authentic homestyle viet food or you're looking to introduce someone to the savory, complex flavors of the rice rolls. Each dish comes with really great fried yams with prawns. Personally I'd rather have more rice rolls but still delicious! Of course each dish comes with a default steamed pork ham, bean sprouts, and egg rolls. If you're an egg lover, get the #7 - House Special Egg Steamed Rice Rolls. They gently cook l the eggs into the rice rolls and it's incredible. If you have the typical big Asian family, call ahead. While they don't take reservations, as soon as they see your party they start working on getting tables set up for you. Overall an incredible place that you can only find in Cali.

This might just be my new favorite banh cuon restaurant in town! I have been eyeing this spot for a while, since they are usually packed with a long line on weekends. Finally, I was able to try their freshly made banh cuon, and I completely understand why people love this spot.I visited on a Saturday morning right after opening. Even though we came early, people started to slowly trickle in throughout the morning. Of course, we had to try their famous banh cuon. It was easily a 10/10. The rolls are silky smooth and topped with delicious portions of fried shrimp, cold cut meats, and fresh veggies. Their housemade fish sauce was amazing as well. We also tried their bun bo hue, and the broth was super flavorful. We definitely understand why people brave the long wait in the morning, and I can say that it is definitely worth it!

My family's go to place whenever we're down in SoCal. This place never disappoints us and the price is too good! We've been going here for years and no other banh cuon in the Bay Area compares to thanh tri. The rice sheet itself is not oily and it doesn't make you feel very icky after eating. The sweet potato, egg roll, and the mung bean cake very crispy. However, I wished the mung bean had more beans in it. Of course it paired well with their refreshing herbal drink that's free! Would highly recommend coming to this place. The staff is friendly and the vibes are good. It gets pretty crowded in the afternoon so come in early!

Absolutely amazing service first and foremost. Our server was super friendly. As far as the food goes, this spot definitely delivered. I got the Banh Uot Trung. So yummy the rice was super soft. Ambiance was cozy. Typical Vietnamese restaurant. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. And even if you aren't, it's worth the trip. You'll thank me later for sure.

Came here once on a weekend during lunchtime, there were large groups outside waiting but walked in anyway to scribble my name on the wait list. The list was a full page long and we weren't about to wait over an hour for a table so we left but made sure to definitely come back to see why people were willing to wait so long. Came back on a Sunday at around 1p. There were only two parties ahead of us so we waited about 10 mins prior to being seated. As you walk towards your table, a gentleman beats to it by Immediately bringing over metal cups of complementary sweet iced tea (asked the lady what type of tea if was and she said it's a mixture of herbal teas non caffeinated from- but to me it just tasted like chrysanthemum tea from childhood from the Asian market). Food comes out pretty fast. Ordered the banh cuon thit which comes with lots of other additions such as sweet potato fries, egg rolls etc (all the banh cuon orders have these sides). The banh cuon was pretty good but not out of this world. A bit too thick, I like it to be extremely thin and rolled up. I was not impressed with their nuoc mam, it was nothing special. They bring you a fresh jar per table. Also ordered the bun Bo hue to try. The broth was way too sweet and I didn't like that. There was no giant piece of pork hock, it was sliced thinly for a classier public eating fashion, although I prefer to chomp on that whole pork hock with bone and marrow. There was only one piece of rectangular piece of coagulated blood. I liked that they served it with blossom, lots of places skip that and it's just not complete. Also tried the bun thit nuong, it was pretty ok. There is a 4% surcharge fee added onto your check. They also sell banh cuon only by the pound as a togo order but order ahead as it takes time. Was going to order a few pounds to take home but didn't want to wait but good to know as an option for next time. Free plaza parking. Overall glad I tried it, it was good but not overly impressed. Definitely plated well though. Pay at front counter.
