The food here was amazing and quite flavorful. I highly recommend the banh canh dac biet with the thick broth specifically. They will also give you scissors to cut the prawns. The broth, meat, noodles, and prawns were all so good and the portions were pretty heavy! It was $19.50 for this bowl. The inside was clean and well kept. The service was also quick and everyone was so sweet and kind. Although, the parking lot is fairly small it wasn't too busy on a weekend afternoon. Definitely a gem worth checking out for the colder spring/winter months!

Good to be back again for their delicious Udons. Have not eaten at this quite a while since they moved to a new place. The broths were superb and tasty. My favorite is still Phan Thiet Udon. The bowl is enough for one's eater. There are plenty noddles and shrimp, fish's patties. Service is still top notch and fast. Great to be back.

I've been coming here for a while and i was worried that it closed down. It turns out it moved across the street & combined with another restaurant. Overall I'm happy with that because now you have other options and you can order appetizers too! This all worked out and everything is yummy and delicious! The owner is really friendly which is also a plus. You can order thick broth or thin but i always do thick and get the doughnut(see photo) to absorb the broth! I highly recommend this place

I'm quite impressed it's made w real broth fr bone unlike most places they just use the canned broth. They even pledged to never use MSG which is not good for you giving you stomach cancer, many restaurants put so much sugar it's ridiculously sweet. They used to be located across the street apparently they bought this location but claimed it was still HOÀ BÌNH restaurant, 2 restaurants in one, win win situation wink wink . I don't buy that explanation, what I think is they keep the name Hoa Binh n menu possibly the old chef too but afraid to lose old customers, I'm open minded if it's good, it doesn't matter how many owners they have. Hoa Binh has an extensive menu so it's great. Unfortunately service was too slow, I had to get my own menu then had to call them to get my order I waited long time already but it's possible bc of growing pain, they went from selling only udon to 4 pages of menu. Come give this place a try, every soup is about $15 vs mist other rest $17. The Hoa Binh menu has every VN dish imaginable and you won't break the bank here!

Wow! What a wonderful place for authentic Vietnamese Banh Canh! The service here was great. It helps that I speak the language. We were seated immediately. The atmosphere was very inviting. The Banh Canh was superb! The broth was flavor and there was plenty of proteins. I had the Banh Canh dac biet thick soup and was not disappointed! The thick soup has a hint of anneto seed flavoring. Between the clear and thick soup, thick soup is a must!

I have been coming to this place for over a decade, ever since I lived in so cal. I live in Las Vegas now. This past weekend, I gave them another visit, and their food got even better! What makes their banh canh different from other places is that they give you a large river prawn. That thing is as big as my hand! I love sucking on the prawn brains. It's so juicy!I always get their banh canh dac biet, thick broth with udon, and it comes with crab meat, jumbo river prawn, fried squid paste, deboned pork leg, shrimp ball and fried fish paste. You get a little of everything, and it's so flavorful! Trust me, I finished the bowl, including all the soup!I also always add a side of quail eggs and Chinese fried donut, it's not on the menu, but trust me, it was enhance your banh canh, you'll thank me later!

Banh Canh Que Em & Que Anh is a very local and traditional banh canh spot in the middle of Westminster. It serves Vietnamese udon, which can be in a thick or thin soup! I love it served in a thick soup because it really coats the udon, and you can even add a Chinese donut on the side to dip it in and soak up even more of that amazing flavor. This spot has been a staple in my food rotation for the past year, and I am sad to hear that it is closing down. However, they told me that they are moving across the street and combining with another restaurant, so I will check them out when they open back up! Definitely recommend trying before they move on Saturday, 6/1!

I am the one lazy to write the review But I have to write to this restaurant I feel too hopeless for this place Getting more expensive $16.99 plus tax is $17+ for a bowl of bánh canh basic miền trung They dropped few noodles in the bowl like kid menu you can look at the picture don't see much noodles. And the broth is tasteless compared to before.$17+ still hungry compared to other places way too expensive and not that good taste! Not worth the money!

I've been coming here for years and this place always slaps!! My parents got the banh canh which is always a staple and one of their best known dishes but don't sleep on the hai nan chicken... it was so so good and asides from the sauces the rice itself tasted SO GOOD I think it was cooked with chicken broth or something I don't even know but I could not stop eating it... definitely a must try
