I visited Bandeno Mexican Food during my lunch break and decided to order a burrito--because you can never go wrong with a burrito. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by both the friendly staff and the quality of the food.One thing I really appreciated was that they didn't add rice as a filler; instead, the burrito was generously stuffed with large, flavorful chunks of carne asada. The portion was satisfying, and the flavors were well-balanced.Another highlight was their salsa bar, which amplified the flavors even more. I highly recommend trying the spicy pineapple sauce for a unique kick and the green salsa, which was incredibly flavorful and authentic.Service was an added bonus, staff was nice and friendly and the food came out impressively fast, in under five minutes, even during the busy 12 PM lunch rush. While I didn't dine in, I noticed that the restaurant had seating available for small groups of 2-4 people.Overall, I'd give Banderas Mexican Food a solid 4/5. It's a great spot for a quick, delicious meal. A definite recommend!Looking forward to another visit- I want a taste of their menu, which might change my 4/5 rating to a 5.

Love everything about this place, especially because we don't have to go far however.......my complaint:1) Prices are a bit high. A carne asada burrito shouldn't be $17.00.2) they constantly and almost every time will mess up an order if you ask them to remove or not include an item, like no tomato's, or no beans, or no cheese. It's written in the receipt but the person making the order has zero clue and no desire to read the ticket.The amount of times I've come home and had to go back and sometimes they still mess up.Make sure you stand there and watch the guy make your food because he will just add whatever he wants in your order.3) wish the guy wore gloves or used tongs, honestly - using his bare fingers to grab the lettuce or tomatoes or onions and then whipping them on an old wet rag on the cutting board doesn't make for cleanliness- food contamination for sure.Used to be better years ago when they first moved in but now it's like -

Small quaint little Mexican food shop. Just some benches but they do serve beers. I have the soft tortilla Al Pastore tacos and the shredded beef. Hard tacos. I'd say the Al Pastor Storr was excellent and the shredded beef is just the same as you get anywhere else

Zero stars if I could... this place just gets worse and worse every time. Food is not fresh and customer service is lacking. Do not place an online order. I used their link on yelp and it gets processed through grub hub. First I wasn't notified I was charged through grub hub, wasn't notified my order was ready, so food was cold and to top it off order was wrong. I was informed I needed to contact grub hub to get a refund for what I over paid. I have to spend my time for their error. No effort by Bandenos to make it up by correcting order, zero customer service. Highly recommend you go to Antonio's off La Palma and Imperial for fresh authentic Mexican food, AND MUCH BETTER customer service! No bueno Bandenos

Okay this is clearly not a vegan spot but I really wanted to try it. If you are vegan, there is a garden salad and a veggie burrito but I'm not sure the tortilla is vegan. Nonetheless, I got the quesadilla. Lol! It was made fresh and it was made quickly despite the fact that this restaurant was packed. If you like fresh, authentic Mexican food, then this is your place. Now the restaurant itself is not very big but there is seating inside and outside. This is a great place to bring a small family of 4 but not a big party. They do catering and they have takeout as well as delivery. The menu is expansive and I guarantee there is something on the menu you'd like. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everyone was welcoming and the service was excellent. This is a great little family style Mexican restaurant in Anaheim Hills!
