Came here for breakfast with the family while out in Irvine at my cousin's place. I opted for the loaded grill cheese toast without bacon. It was very very good and tasty. I love that they were willing to accommodate my request for a vegetarian version of the toast and also added spinach and tomatoes to make it quite filling. The avocado was super fresh and the watermelon slices were a nice touch. I washed all of this out with an iced coffee which was the perfect mix.Enjoy this with a little dab of hot sauce and you cannot ask for more.

Bad vibes~ just had Deja vu walking in and remembered that 3 years ago I met my mom here and she told me my parents were splitting up.Sandwich was mediocre too. Not worth $14 for 2 slices of turkey 1 piece of bacon and 1/4 of a small avocado. The bread also cut my mouth.Safe to say I will not be returning on account of the vibes and amateur sandwich standards.

This breakfast and lunch cafe is conveniently located off the main road. There is ample street parking for 30 minutes just outside the restaurant.It is an excellent place to grab a breakfast sandwich coffee or smoothie.

Cozy (what appears to be) family-owned cafe. Prices are reflective of the inflation era, but the Tower 9 sandwich and Hot Chai Latte were delicious. Services was kind.

I'm updating my review and dropping it to 1 star because I witnessed workers making food in the back with their bare hands. They would put together the sandwich and handle all the ingredients with their bare hands, scoop out chips from a costco sized bag with their bare hands, AND THEN go up to the register and handle money all without washing their hands at all. I feel so sick knowing I used to eat at this place. Unclean. Not worth it.

i pass by this place all the time when i'm walking my dog and finally stopped to try it today. Went around lunch time and it wasn't too crowded and there was still spots to sit. i ordered the tower 9 chicken salad sandwich and it was SOO GOOD! you have the options of chips or one big pickle, i usually give my pickle up to someone but i was solo today so went with the chips ! the lady who made my sandwich must've made it with love because it tasted perfect. they also have so many fresh smoothie options and you can see everyone doing their thing from chopping up fresh fruit to layering sandwiches perfectly. will definitely be coming back here

I've been coming to the Avocado Cafe Irvine on a couple occasions now and really like this little hidden gem quite a lot. Came across the Avocado Cafe while taking a friend to JWA with time to kill for breakfast being so close to the airport.They probably have one of the best breakfast burritos and I wish they were a little bit closer to my place but definitely worth going out of your way!The Avocado Cafe serves fresh and healthy food including sandwiches, salads, smoothies, juices, and drinks and not to mention a variety of coffees! FYI, their Tuna sandwich (formerly known as the Avocado tuna sandwich) was even voted one of the 9 best avocado dishes in Orange County by OC Weekly. The cafe offers a fast casual dining experience with a cozy ambiance inside and out and I definitely prefer the outside patio seating!5 stars for reasonably priced and tasty food plus friendly service!I'II be back!Enjoy and Bon Appétit!
