Considering the price point at this economy???? Andys truck is def worth!!!! Andys truck is located right next the Asian Garden Mall with bright lights indicating $1 tacos! I came around 7:20ish and there was a decent sized line so do expect to wait a bit. I opted to get four tacos, the chorizo, asade, lengua, and carnitas. My favorite would have to be the carnitas, it had a good smokey flavor to it! My least favorite would be the lengua as the pieces were more fattier than id like but nonetheless still solid! They have salsas on the side of the truck, I recc loading it up because the tacos itself are more lighter on the seasonings. My favorite thing however is the pineapple agua fresca!!!! For only $2 for a size small!!! I normally take long to finish drinks but it was gone quickly! I did try my friends horchata and do note that it is really sweet-so perhaps ask for extra ice on that one!

My son found this place on social media and kept telling me to go. He said the truck is run by a 16 year old! We went on a Monday around 8 PM. The street is dark with a few streetlights. Quite a few people had already ordered and cars were continually pulling up. Service was efficient, they were focused on making the food and getting it out. We didn't wait too long. My favorite was the chicken quesadilla. Tortilla was fresh, the chicken tasted well seasoned and there was plenty of cheese. The tacos were also good. Corn tortillas, enough meat and vendors inside. Sauce is provided and you can add additional sauce. I fed 5 people for under $50. Will definitely go back. Great job, Andy!

The al pastor and Asada meats were both seasoned very well and so tender. I was very surprised on the quality of the tacos based on the price but it is so delicious and at $1 a taco, such a great deal. The tacos come on a small street taco sized corn tortillas and there's four different available sauces that have a tiny spicy kick. You can also buy salsa here! If you get a burrito or etc. Delicious food served with friendly smiles!

Andy's Truck serves $1 tacos and is in a good location behind the Asian Garden Mall. Just tried this place and it does not disappoint. There was plentiful parking and no line and the wait was not long at all on a Thursday night in the middle of January. The food was hot and the tacos are delicious especially for $1 each. I got 3 chorizo and 2 asada and it hit the spot. They were not dry at all and each ingredient felt fresh. The sauces were all very good and had heat in them all. Love supporting small businesses this place is a must try for quick eats, especially for $1!

I've been to quite a few taco spots throughout OC & a bit in LA. And there are so many good ones in their own way. I've been seeing this on my foodie IG page and decided to finally try it out. The first three reasons that I wanted to try it was, 1st) it was very local to where I live and at the heart of Little Saigon. Which is not known for tacos. 2) The affordable taco price at $1.00 was very enticing. 3) As a foodie, I'm always looking for a new good spot to eat tacos. As of writing this I already visited the taco truck twice within the last 2 weeks. So, far I have tried their Cebeza and Al Pastor with onions, cilantros, and lime. I also got grilled onions and Serrano peppers too. They have four different hot sauce the first time I went. The more orange color one was spicier which I think had habanero. The red and green one I haven't tried. But my gf and friends seem to like it. The last green sauce looks a bit creamier which I have tried but didn't taste spicy. The real spice comes from eating the grilled Serrano peppers . That had me sweating. The grilled onions enhance my taste buds with those authentic Mexican hole in the wall joint. The Cebeza and Al pastor meat is well seasoned, moist, and full of flavors that just in every bite. Both times that I visited Andy's Taco Truck. Their tacos have tasted the same. I definitely recommend saving this spot your list!IG: ToLiveAndDineinOC

Hype: I found this place thru IG and heard others in line also come because of tiktok, YouTube short, or IG. I came on a Friday night around 6 pm there wasn't a line to order just a few people waiting around to pick up their food. As I was waiting the line definitely picked up.I ordered an Al pastor burrito no beans (I asked what was in the burrito and was told it had rice, beans, cheese, onions, cilantro, and sour cream) and an asada, al pastor, cabeza, carnitas, and lengua taco. The guy that took my order was very nice but didn't read my order back to me and I think I was over charged because I was charged $12 and I only received 5 tacos (should be $1 each) and 1 burrito ($6) so my total should have been $11... so pay attention to what they charge you and make sure you get all of your ordered. While waiting for my order I was told they ran out of asada so I had to switch for al pastor. The service is nice but on the slower side and they acknowledge it and apologize when handing out orders for us having to wait. When the food came out it wasn't even hot or piping fresh it was lukewarm that was disappoint because I had to wait a while so thought it would be fresh. The burrito was a buss do NOT get it. It was so small and did not have anything inside but very minimal rice and Al pastor and it had a lot of spice flavor in it like it was drenched in chili oil and that the Al pastor taco did not have. All the tacos were just okay. They were missing flavor all of them needed salt and the salsas did not help. If I had to choose a meat the al pastor was the most decent one. I appreciate them keeping the cost low in this economy but I understand why there wasn't much meat in the tacos and you would have to order a lot to be full. Tip: Heads up get ready for acid reflux problems because everything is pretty oily and the reflux hit me quick like an hour later. Try it if you're in the area and need a cheap eat but there's better taco places around here that I would be more willing to wait for. I'm all for giving second chances if I'm ever in the area I'll try it again and hopefully the meats I want don't runout so I can try them.

A $1 taco in this economy? Unbelievable--and absolutely delicious! The service is super fast, and the vibe of the place is perfect. I went all in and ordered one of everything! It's located right behind the Asian Garden Mall, so come through and show some love to Andy! You won't regret it.

All hype. :( Got two burritos and rice. Burritos were very small. The beef didn't have much flavor but you can taste tons of garlic powder. The rice was terrible and tasted like strong shrimp rice. I could tell when I was standing next to the truck that their oil smelled really bad and old. What boggles me is the rice. It was straight up shrimp flavor and when we ate it parts were ice cold. The burritos and rice even came in weird pre-packaged styrofoam plates and nothing was hit or fresh made. It's a very mistreating place. You're not really getting street tacos that are made in front of you. You're getting food from that was made yesterday and warmed up in a microwave The staff were super slow. You could tell that they're not real cooks or servers. Because every Mexican taco down that I've been to that has really good food, they'd be pushing hundreds out an hour in this place almost feels like senior citizens are in charge.Portions were so small. I even asked the guy if the rice was big enough for two people and he said yes, but my goodness I can eat that small plate of rice all by myself. It was very misleading because it was packaged in a huge Styrofoam plate. But thank goodness I didn't order two because it tasted terrible. It tasted so fishy and shrimp flavored rice. I don't know if they used the same oil as when they were frying shrimp or what it was but they need to change their oil and they need to get their food corrected. I thought that adding the salsa to it would help a little bit, but the both red and green salsa was also watered down and was not spicy nor did it have any sort of a kick of sourness or any flavor. None of the food came out piping hot so I think they just warmed it in the microwave because how could rice be icy cold on just one part of the plate and the rest was slightly warm? I would not come here again. I like the food truck on the corner of Brookhurst and Chase Bank much better because they are so freaking good but they haven't been there lately so I decided to try this place out, but it was a huge fail.

Never responded to me after agreeing on a certain order on a certain day (they agreed to drop it off for me too). Andy was communicative UP TO the day we had planned to meet up. When I called a different number, a woman picked up and said she can fulfill the order instead. Ended up hanging the phone on me when I suggested cancellation since she was still on the way at 3:20pm when I made it firm that I needed it by 3:10pm, which she said on call TWICE that she could do. If they were at least more communicative and apologized for their mess up, I would not be writing this review since I am sympathetic towards small businesses. However, I was treated rudely by the woman and got ghosted by Andy on the day of my event. Luckily, I hadn't placed my deposit yet but everyone should keep a note to not cater from Andy's Truck since they were very irresponsible today.
