American Grub

American Grub has been one of my go-to spots for lunch with coworkers over the years. I get the AG Charred Romaine Chicken Salad (it's a delicious wedge) with a lemon basil dressing and their to-die-for tater tots. I've never had to wait long for a party of 2 or party of 8 at lunch time, and service is fast and friendly. Located in Old Town Tustin among other cute shops and restaurants - would highly recommend taking a stroll before or after!

Enjoyed the turkey burger, Cajun tots n the warm toffee cake! The customer service was good but the Arnold Palmer was too watery n didn't taste like tea or lemonade.I'd go back if I was n the area!

One of the best turkey burgers I've had seriously Garlic fries were amazing And the chicken sandwich was delicious ..the black ice tea was ok a little light ,Great customer service and nice atmosphere. I will be back to try more on the menu. Thank you

I couldn't believe this was my third time at American Grub and have never written a review. This place was always chosen by someone else and every time it has gotten a little bit better. Today I got the Steak Sandwich which our lovely server listed in the daily specials. Pretty good, I had to add a little salt to give it some more flavor, but it was juicy and the hoagie bread was delicious. Marlene ordered some garlic fries, I'm not a fan, but I ate more than half of the generous portion.....they were good. Our server Shauna was outstanding, as well as the other two servers who made sure we were well taken care of This place has really grown on me, I'll be coming back soon for that pastrami burger. Probably one of my go to's to satiate my burger cravings! I rarely crave restaurant burger, but I love the ones I've tried here so far including their pulled pork - even their desserts, the corn bread was so good! The service is always great and they try to be very accommodating. Overall with the food and experience of being in Old Towne Tustin, I never go wrong with this spot!

I had my hopes up but the burger was flavorless. I got the Pastrami Burger plus lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard. I ended up putting some ranch on it to save it. Their Ranch is nice and homemade. Fries are separate and there are many kinds to choose from. I got the Rosemary Herb Fries and they were alright. They have a nice selection of beers. I got the Unicorn Hefeweizen and it was pretty good.

The service was so great. They were all happy and welcoming RIGHT AFTER the lunch crowd. My husband and I both thought our sandwiches were some of the best!! I got the French dip and it was perfect! Thinly sliced roast beef. MmmmMost places put thick slices or use thick slices of prime rib but imo it takes away from the sandwich. You should be able to taste everything in what you're eating and when it's chunky or overloaded, that's all you taste. Hubby got pastrami and he loved it. He's a big lover of Philippe's in LA and will drive from OC to get it, but this is much closer and we will be going back... frequently.

Back a year later and the food is still amazing, service great, save clean. The AG Sourdough was fantastic and the Mac and cheese wasn't too bad. I initially got an Arnold Palmer and it tasted really strange, but they quickly swapped it for me for another drink. Anyway, I still recommend this spot!

It's good here my friend went there and grab me some food and give it to me man. It was real real good. I'm not sure about service, but the food is totally quality. You should eat here.

Hamburger and garlic fries always great!My daughter lives in North Tustin and when I visit we often find our way there.
