Aloha BBQ

We just visited Aloha BBQ and we enjoyed our food! The service was great & the portions good. Even the kids meal had a good amount of food. The place is cute and has nice ambiance with hawaain music playing in the background.

I always have to get my Hawaiian BBQ fix when working in California and thought I'd try this place.I'll stick with L&L for better service, food quality, and amount.Aloha was far below the other Hawaiian places in this area.It was 2:00PM and my meal was sparse, warm, and definitely not fresh.The woman taking my order seemed bothered by my order and rude.

This place has great Hawaiian food. They have teriyaki chicken and kalbi ribs. Kalbi Ribs are to die for. Always very moist and tender. I also like the crystal noodles here. These are gluten-free and they're made of sweet potato if you can believe it. Very TASTY. Sam, the owner is very kind and helpful. We have had them cater for us a few years ago and we're doing it again this year for our Christmas party. High-quality food and very reasonably priced. If you have a craving for teriyaki chicken and kalbi ribs, this is a place for you. It's a small, quaint place and the ambience is very cool. They always have Hawaiian music playing and it's decorated with Hawaiian pictures and decor. Even a picture of the famous Duke Surfing. It's a great little gem in our neighborhood!

I am writing this review for their amazing shaved ice . It is truly great and brings back so many childhood memories.

Awesome find. The Katsu and teriyaki chicken were delicious. Generous portions of both. Note that the costs was a little above the norm but worth the expense. My grandson asked me to make sure to mention just how good the shaved ice was. Thumbs up.

Great food amazing service, tried the double cheese burger and the grilled chicken sandwich

We got a large order for catering and this place has definitely changed significantly in how they operate. Our portions of food are a lot smaller than when we had ordered before and the owner was not helpful.The owner Sam also refused to give us our order unless we could prove the exact amount of food we ordered and we had to ask him for the items we paid for and convince him after some dialog. As for the food, the katsu was super dry and flat and lacked flavor. However I would say the bbq chicken was pretty good. There was a slightly smokey flavor to the bbq chicken and the chicken tasted freshly cooked. So I would recc the bbq chicken but not the katsu.Utensils were also 39 cents each and sauce is no longer included with anything but is extra. So we got no utensils and no sauce with our order, but that's fine. This place skimps so much for their portions now. I would never be coming back here again and I encourage you all to go to all the other Aloha's instead! The Aloha in Tustin is owned by and run by a kind old woman who never refuses utensils or sauce with any order.

The food is delicious. I got spam masubi, mac salad, and dumplings it was perfect. The service is the best you'll receive especially from the cashier and the store owner. The inside of the restaurant is also very cute.

The katsu and rice were fine, about what you'd expect. The macaroni salad was bad, barely any flavor and a very odd texture. Service was weird, the lady working the front seemed annoyed that I was even there. I asked for water cups and she didn't say anything. When I asked for an extra fork and spoon for my daughter she said, "I already gave you one," when I mentioned I needed one more she got frustrated, places the fork on the counter, and walked away. There are better places available with better food and service.

Great food! Must get triple combo. Their masubi is different with egg than the typical teriyaki and spam. The quantity for this combo playe is enough to feed 2 people! Will come again!
