We wanted to have appetizers and drinks before a concert and found this little gem!They have a great "happy hour " with affordable wine and small plates (which were delicious) and the service was excellent!Everyone should check it out!

Stumbled upon this gem again tonight! Had a girls dinner and forgot I had been here before a few years back.Great caring serving and overall welcoming atmosphere. Food was GREAT! I had the Linguini Pescatore (a little oily for my taste but delicious) and my friend had the Chicken Piccata (perfect!).Will happily come back again and remember to snap a few pics before chowing down!

Please get the mushroom with polenta which is super creamy and delightful with the truffle oil mmmm so good. I really liked other dishes too, but the pappadelle tasted slightly undercooked. The tiramisu tasted like homemade which I personally love! All the severs were very kind and they kept checking on us if we were doing okay. Highly recommended for a date night!

I can't believe after all these years of growing up in Orange County, I'm only now trying Al Forno Caffe. This place is such a hidden gem. Got Pasta al Forno, Pappardelle Funghi, Margherita Pizza, White Wine, Red Wine and Tiramisu. I would go out of my way to come here.The pasta is al dente and full of flavor. The pizza has the perfect crust and chew. The pappardelle was my favorite, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Their pappardelle funghi dish is similar to the one served at Ciao Pasta in San Juan Capistrano, also delicious. This spot so unassuming but blew my mind and transported me back to my time in Italy. I find it hard to find restaurants in the states that taste authentic like the food in Italy but this one was exactly what I was looking for. If that is what you're looking for, then come here. They are better than North Italia, Cucina Enoteca, Maggiano's Little Italy and Cucina Alessa, and these are all places that I love too but remind me more of Italian American food.They are located in a shopping plaza with a big free parking lot, no issues with parking. Service is friendly. The inside and outside seating are cozy, has a more traditional Italian restaurant feel and I'm all for it! They also have bar seating. It's casual and these are the types of Italian restaurants you will find in Italy. With all these new Italian spots popping up trying to be hip, this is a really nice change of scenery and starting to be hard to come by. It's these types of restaurants that make the best food not those hip new places. Prices here are fair!
