ABC Supermarket

Went here for a quick walk because I enjoy exploring different grocery stores now since I just moved to the area. Initially, I was looking for a decoration for the new year, but I just bought other stuff too as usual lol.Too bad I came in late, they have a little corner where you can pick and choose different dishes into a meal.When paying, I noticed they have couple of people working too and there were assigned person to bag your stuff on each cashier, and they are fast.Parking was not a problem when I came but it was quite crowded in the parking lot for a Monday night.

I cannot believe i will encounter the same cashier tonight. A day before lunar new year. I came by to find some decor for my office, didnt find any so i just bought 1 pomelo, came out to almost $8, when i was about to pay, i was trying to tap my card, then all of a sudden i heard this cashier TANA telling me in a rude tons you cant pay with credit card under $10. I told her im paying with debit card. Then she raised her voice and said "thats why i asked you earlier if debit or credit" i never heard her asked me. So i told her off i didnt hear you asked, if i did then i wouldve responded like what im doing right now. I cant believe this woman still works here. Unbelievable!

I like coming here for Asian snacks. They carry my favorite Dragonfly Cuttlefish chips. Their snacks are cheaper than other Asian markets. I also like getting coconut water and teas here. As far as produce, they don't have a huge selection of fruits compared to other Asian markets. I don't cook much, so I haven't bought meat from here. They have a cafeteria style restaurant that sells Vietnamese food. I've only had the fried rice, stir fry noodles and egg rolls. Their egg rolls are good and only $1.25 each. However, they don't come with any type of egg roll sauce. The fried rice and noodles comes in three different sizes. I usually get the small and they fill the container with so much food that it can feed 2-3 people. It is a great deal for $4.50 each. The fried rice is good and love that it has Chinese sausages. The noodles were on the bland side. Security here is very strict and kind of annoying. You have to leave your groceries with security if you need to use the restroom. There are two main doors, but only one is for entrance and the other is to exit. Also, one time I bought and paid for groceries already and tried to go to the food court, but was told I needed to exit the building first and then re-enter through the entrance door to get back in. Maybe there's a lot of theft going on at this market, but wow, security here acts like they are securing a high end luxury store.

As stated before they don't allow bags or backpacks, security when I entered took my backpack and tossed it into the corner even though there was a shelf right next to him. Really a get in and out type store, not very service oriented.

Be careful if you order the lobster! We ordered on Christmas Eve two small lobsters and two pieces of the tail were missing. There was the end of the tail but the body of the tail was missing 1 piece each so 2 total! Typically the tail gets chopped up into 3 pieces and when we lined it up, it was obvious one piece of each lobster was missing, this is THE BEST part of the lobster. Otherwise, amazing price but i feel like I cannot trust it any longer, still might be worth-it but sucks!!

The good:I got lunar new year (or tet) dragon wall decor from here for $7. They had a variety of options that included lanterns and dragon-themed paper posters. There's plenty of parking here. They have a hot ready to take out food section in the front left. They played classic Vietnamese songs. The vegetable section was really neatly organized, full, clean and healthy looking. This store was cleaner than the other ABC location. The bad:I'm not sure why all of the Asian grocery stores have security guards. Perhaps, to prevent hate crimes? I have no idea but it must be bad or there must've been a bad incident if they need one. The interesting;There were ao dai (Vietnamese traditional clothing) sold outside for $10 but I think it belongs to the small shop next to the market rather than to the market.

I would never wanted to come this place. And I will tell you the reason why you can't return something when you just buy them and you buy them by mistake. Customer service horrible. Not friendly not welcome. They have one door going in and then they have one door going out. It was my first time going there, and I don't think I ever wanna come back here. The price are ridiculous comparing other Asian store. So if you guys ever don't wanna check out, this place is not worth it and I usually do not write a bad view on any business only if very poor customer service.

cashier is worst customer service, rude and disrespectful. Terrible when come and here shop here. Never come back. Bye!!!!

As my knowledge you're the Best. They carried my favorite..Staffs are nice,willing to assist as you need. This store was cleaner.. I Don't care what any commends.

ABC supermarkets has the worst Customer service that I have gone to. I live nearby the Anaheim location, but I rarely or ever wanted to go to this market. Today, before going to Ralph on Ball street, instead of driving down to market in Little Saigon area, I stopped by ABC supermarket to pick up few items. Staffs are rude, not willing to assist as customer asked for help, have no respect for customers, specially the cashiers. Staffs would need to have more training on how to do better on customer service.
