A Nu Quan

Didn't know what to expect and I ended up enjoying the food here so much! My mom raved about this place due to their unique grilling style in a jar. She said this is the only place in OC that grills chicken like how they do it in Vietnam so off we went for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn't super busy so we were seated right away and we got to ordering.The popular meal set is a whole chicken "ga nuong lu" along with crispy rice and the pandan rice. The chicken is the best grilled chicken I had. You can taste the grilling if that makes sense. It was flavorful and not dry at all. I loved dipping it in the darker soy sauce. From the two rice sides, my favorite was the yellow crispy rice however that's not to say the pandan rice wasn't good either. Just my preference!They also sell other items on their menu but this is their bestseller. I already plan to go back with friends and look forward to having some more in the future!

After ordering half chicken to try for the first time, instantly regretted not getting the whole chicken platter for myself. So good!!!Loved all the sauces and pickled sides and mixing the chicken with pandan sweet sticky rice and crispy rice!!!We also had the bot chien and it was perfectly crispy and delish too! Definitely coming back!!!!

Limited menu item. And on top of that, their signature item, the rotisserie chicken was somewhat dry and average. The service was friendly, but was not attentive. It feels like they are still in their soft-opening mode...Given that the limited menu is lacking the wow factor, it's a one-and-done for me...

The only place in OC that does Clay Pot Chicken! What does this mean? Juicy, flavorful and delicious chicken that makes makes all of their chicken dishes excellent.They are located in their own plaza with a small lot. I havent had any trouble finding parking yet. My table ordered the whole chicken and some cripsy rice on the side. My favorte part of this was the skin, it was flavorful and crispy. The chicken was juicy and tender. The clay pot method really pays off here. Though what suprised me the most was the crispy rice cake with eggs, that was addicting to eat.

Amex accepted, bomb spot for comforting chicken dishes !========Clay grilled chicken noodle (dry) $17.5?is hella good. Idk how to properly eat it, but make sure to eat it with the pickled garlic! The sauce they use for the egg noodles is something quite addictive, savory and a little sweet. If they just served the noodles by themselves, I'd be happy as well.Brown sauce is different from $1.99, but it does help with the chicken flavor. The chicken itself has a good amount of bone and a nice char on the skin, it is meaty and flavorful. Lots of bok choy and a tasty chicken soup on the side.Mien ga $14.5??is potentially better than my old fav spot. The broth is YUMMY and tastes very comforting. Also a nice contender.The chill music was nice to listen to as my stomach and mouth were really happy.Don't expect too much service, the food makes up for it.Parking is pretty easy since there's not too much going on in the plaza.Give this place a try, the videos on TikTok don't lie haha

We just had tried their signature dish (Clay pot chicken) with sides of crispy rice, panda sticky rice, and chicken rice. The chicken rice was bland (lacks flavor you would expect from chicken rice). The chicken itself was delicious. I think it would taste better w fish sauce dipping sauce.We also got the fried flour cakes and the dry noodles with chicken. Dry noodles were over cooked (soggy noodles). The flour cakes were flavorful and generous amount of eggs. Service is slow. They had 2 girls servers (taking orders and running the food). Overall it was ok.

My sister suggested I try the chicken at this place. Stopped by for late lunch on a Saturday. If you check in on Yelp, you get a complimentary wintermelon drink. I ordered the dried egg noodle with clay jar grilled chicken and my mom ordered whole chicken with crispy rice and pandan sticky rice. The food took about 35 minutes or more. I was disappointed with the noodles. It was overcooked and didn't have a chew to it. The chicken was flavorful but a tad dried. The crispy rice was yummy. Pandan sticky rice was tasty. There were 3 sauces (garlic soy sauce, sweet chili sauce and salt & pepper with lime) that accompanied the chicken. The brown soy sauce was the best. It brought even more flavor to the chicken. In general, I felt the price of the whole chicken at $38.50 was pricey. This was probably the most I spent on chicken.

First time trying the grilled clay pot chicken. Ordered half a chicken that came with different dipping sauces. Chicken was very tasty and tender. The crispy rice was delicious. Crispy outside but soft inside. The pandan rice was not too sweet so it was great. Service was on point. Always checked on us and answered our questions about the food. We even got a free lemonade upon checking in. Cute little place in a small community place of Westminster. Definitely a must try if in the area.

The chicken noodles at this restaurant are delicious. The shop is clean. Friendly staff and reasonable price.
