New owners off to a great start and have revitalized that spot!Great food and brews at a reasonable price !

First beer release from 237 Ocean. I'm a beer guy so love that they're making their own beer now since I remember coming here when it was a brewery.It's definitely been upgraded with higher end furnishings and a farm-to-table menu. The servers and staff are always friendly and welcoming and do their best at getting to you when it's busy.We love the various types of seating with some family-style seating as well as outdoor couches and chairs to watch the people go by.

Visited in a Friday night a little after 8. Live dj was turning out chill tracks in a decidedly upbeat atmosphere with gorgeous ambient lighting. Friendly and attentive servers and bartenders tended to our needs. Get the empanadas. They are definitely made with authentic love, moist, perfectly seasoned, melt in your mouth variety. The chicken samosas were my second favorite, the smoky, spicy sauce adding that extra touch. It's cozy but energetic, a mixed crowd, and somewhere you instantly feel comfortable enough that you'll want to return. Bonus: the owners are super fun and genuinely enjoy being around. They appreciate their clientele and work hard to keep the place running flawlessly, not to mention clean. Can't wait to return.

They have DJs and events every night of the week and this place could become the IT place in OC/Laguna! They have a cute dj set up and a small dance floor but if you're looking for a middle-eastern/ Moroccan bar and music to move with, I highly recommend this place. The drink are also good and everyone is super nice

Stopped in for some beers and '80s music last Thursday. Such a cool vibe and excellent staff there! There's a good variety of beers also, and the bartender convinced me that I would love the kombucha beer with a sample. Can't wait to visit again!

This place is awesome! Nice funky vibe. The owners and staff are fun. And the food in unique and excellent! Plus, they have themes for most nights. Like Tues is Karaoke, Wed is trivia, Thur is 80's, and weekends have a DJ. But I just had their smoked salmon pizza. Damn it was good. Loaded with smoked salmon, onions, tomatoes, and capers. And on this home made fresh pizza that was crisp yet soft. It's served slighly cool, so its like eating a lox bagel, only better. And the chef (Nico) did not hold back on the capers. They went everywhere. Give this place a try.

What an absolutely fantastic place and a hidden gem right now in Laguna Beach. 237 Ocean has an impeccable ambiance and delightful dining. I'd call this a must try. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and it's a surprisingly good value especially on appetizers and wine. Check this place out. You'll like it!

From start to finish, our experience at 237 was top-notch, thanks to both the amazing food and our fantastic server, Chantell. We visited last weekend and will definitely go again in future.The beef and spinach empanadas were golden, flaky, and filled with a rich, savory filling that melted in our mouths. Then came the ribeye, a perfectly cooked masterpiece with a smoky char and buttery tenderness that made every bite unforgettable.What truly set the night apart, though, was Chantel's service. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel like the only table in the room. If you visit, do yourself a favor--order the ribeye and ask for Chantell. You won't regret it!

Empanadas were out of this world! Casual yet elegant ambience! My hubby gave me a sample of the Steak with chimichurri and that was delicious and spot on! I will define come back just for this! But wait! Their salmon was one I just ordered and :..,This is something memorable- truly for sure. It's 5 stars for me!

We had a great time at 237 Ocean! We arrived early and Jordan greeted us warmly, told us about the local sourcing, local history and offered us samples from their brewery (all very good). Settled into a comfortable corner table, enjoyed the empanadas, a solid burger & yummy pizza. The owner introduced himself as he did with other guests, as the place filled up. A nice dog-friendly sidewalk seating area will bring us back to try the appealing menu. Very enjoyable.
