We enjoyed our first visit to Sanika's on a Saturday afternoon.Sanika's Indian Cuisine is new, about 2 months, in a new building on Lebanon Road MJ.We were greeted warmly by co-owner Mani. His wife Dhakshanya is the principal owner.Brightly lit. Abundant windows with natural light. Clean. Comfortable seating. Full bar (wine and liquor) though awaiting a beer license from MJ due in October. Mani indicated several draught brewskies will be offered plus usual Indian beers in bottles. We enjoyed Garlic Naan (4 pieces), Gobi Manchurian entrée as an appetizer, Paneer Butter Masala, and a special-order Lamb Vindaloo not on the menu medium spiced. Would order all again. Watered down with a Mango Lassi and a Manhattan in a martini glass.Tiny Gripe: The Manhattan drink was missing a brandied cherry.Tips: * Join the Sanika Frequent Diner program using your smart phone. Points earn a future meal discount* Lunch discounts Mon-Thurs.* Abundant mix of vegetarian dishes reflecting Southern Indian cuisine, plus non-vegetarian.We plan to return and will invite friends.

How on earth can food be this good?!Well, all the reviews I read beforehand were stellar, so I didn't have a choice but to check this place out for dinner. Turns out y'all were right - this place is amazing! Inside is super clean, the servers were so friendly and helpful and kept checking in, and the food was just phenomenal! I was told my food would take about twenty minutes, but everything came out in maybe five.I really enjoyed the Chilli Gobi (low spice); the texture is like, chewy? But really good. For my main, I got the Mushroom Chettinad (mild), which is probably the greatest curry I've ever had in my life!! Incredible. And with Garlic Naan? Yessssss, please. Best Indian restaurant I've been to. I was proud of myself for taking home some leftovers, but this barely made it to breakfast. Still amazing day 2.

The much-anticipated Sanika's has opened, giving North Mt. Juliet its first Indian restaurant and saving residents the trek into Providence. It was worth the wait. The first occupant of a new mixed use space directly across from Green Hill High School, Sanika's offers an extremely broad and ambitious menu spanning traditional Indian and Indian-American cuisine. Their assortment of breads includes crispy dosas, parottas, and a variety of naans. They've got an amazing assortment of curries - both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. They even have a selection of tiffins. For vegans and vegetarians, they have a selection of Impossible biryanis alongside traditional fare. One could subsist on appetizers alone.Time will tell whether the menu will be scaled back once they see what the locals order, but for now you can enjoy grazing on a fantastic list of tasty dishes. The servers are lovely, and the interior is very chill with a clean, modern vibe. Pickup is available through online ordering on their website as well, but the dosas are always better and crisper served table-side. So book a reservation online and enjoy. Open for lunch and dinner, and available for catering. As of this posting (June 2024) they were closed Tuesdays.

Loved loved loved!!! Everything was delicious and had just a bit different flavor than I am used to. I think it was the fresh spices (and I don't mean spicy), both of our meals were no spice. We ordered the butter, chicken and korma chicken along with the garlic cheese naan, which was heavenly. Clean restaurant, extensive menu, decent portion sizes, delicious food and fair pricing.

Wonderful Indian cuisine. Everything was full of flavor and portions were generous. Service was great, it's a local family run business, everyone is so nice and attentive. We have been there twice now and will be keeping it on heavy rotation! So so good!

This Indian restaurant hasn't been open very long, so the interior is new and very clean. We tried an appetizer and 2 entrees and everything we had was hot, fresh and full of flavor. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There is plenty of free parking. I really can't say enough about the food. Everything was so good. They have plenty of dishes to choose from and they have alot of Vegetarian dishes. If you like Indian food then you need to try this place. It's worth it even if you have to drive for a bit to come and get it. Most dishes are around $12.00 to $16.00. They will ask you how spicy you want your dish. Heat ranges from level 1 to level 5 or no heat at all. We got level 1 on all of our dishes and it was just the right amount of kick for us. If you don't like heat then get it with No Heat. The food will still have all of the flavor. They have a bar, but there was no alcohol. They are still in the process of getting their liquor license, so if that is something you want, then I would call first to see if that has happened yet. Enjoy !!

We only ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo this go around. Both items were delicious. The vindaloo was so flavorful and has the perfect spice level to it, and the lamb was so tender. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu items!

My wife and I recently visited Sanika's for a date night, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was, by far, the best we've had in a while. We ordered the butter chicken and tandoori chicken, accompanied by Jasmine rice and an assortment of their delicious naan bread. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. We are thrilled to have this new restaurant in Mt. Juliet and will definitely be returning frequently.
