May I say in this area there are too many negative attitudes. This place is amazing. Food was great and whoever the female was at the front counter was a breath of fresh air. So pleasant. Smiling and friendly is just so far fetched in this day in age but this place had me wishing I lived closer to go there daily.

I came in here because I was in the neighborhood. I was in the need for a quick breakfast sandwich. I got a croissaint, bacon, scrambled egg and swiss cheese and let me tell you the sandwich did not disappoint. I also had the marshmallow New England coffee flavor a suggestion by the staff who must be Mara who was very friendly and happy :) They have plenty of seating and a large selection of sandwiches. I would definitely stop here again!

Yes, this is the place "where everyone knows your name" and your typical order! How NICE & Friendly is that? I love this place -as much as I love seeing Jeff & Mara! I went there for the hotdogs, which were NOT good. But my girlfriend got a chicken salad sandwich which was very good. The service was also uncharacteristically good for Boston. Parking was also pretty easy. Prices were very reasonable and the hot dogs came with chips.

We've lived in the neighborhood over 34 years and somehow never went here. Saw the positive reviews today and decided to try it today. Really glad I did. These folks are accommodating, and it's clear they really care about the food they prepare. Menu options are relatively standard, but the items themselves are far above standard in taste and quality. mushroom soup on today's menu was as good as any I've had anywhere.What a happy surprise!

Not just another sandwich! Holy cow!The owner, Mara, is a delightful human being but her tuna sandwich and clam chowder are not to be missed. This is place is my favorite accidental stop this month. Oh, my husband had the cranberry walnut chicken salad was equally as good.
