"Five stars all around for You & Yours. I have been twice -- once a few days after Christmas last year (and the decorations and holiday drinks were so cute), as well as during the spring for a "Boozy Brunch Bingo" event, which was so much fun! I actually won a free tasting and tour for 4, so I definitely will be back before the end of the year. The place itself is so aesthetically pleasing, the drinks are delicious (they have a specialty in gin), the food is always a hit, and the workers are all so lovely. This is the perfect place to grab some drinks and a quick bite to just enjoy company. It is not the biggest establishment, I must say. There are quite a few events that they hold, so I would suggest to follow them on Instagram."
"One of my favorite times of the year is San Diego Restaurant Week! I love trying out new restaurants, and The Bronze Bird is a must return when you're in the Downtown area. I love the ambiance of tje restaurant, it wasn't busy and I was seated right away. I easily made reservations online and was able to adjust my reservations due to trying to find parking.Drink: Strawberry Martini - So refreshing! Loved it. Pre-Fixe Restaurant Menu Picks:Artichoke and Grana Padno Bisque. Creamy and delicious. Pan Seared Halibut. Flaky with a nice sear, loved the beans with pancetta. Very filling.Orange Blossom Panna Cotta. Our waiter, Javier, topped it off with Grand Marnier! So good, very light. No, he didn't light the Grand Marnier on fire, lol. Customer service was superb! I can't explain how welcoming the staff was, I truly felt like I was a guest at the hotel. Definitely must return!"

"Everything about the Stratford Court Cafe is great. From the food, the service, and the ambiance, this is an awesome place to visit when in Del Mar. First, the food. We ordered the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich, Berries & Cream Waffles, and the Açaí Hemp Bowl. All three were perfect. Kristian, the cashier that took our order, guided us in the right direction. This was our first time visiting, so we asked her for recommendations. Everything was delicious. Everyone there was very kind and helpful. And the cafe itself was very inviting. Plenty of seating. And the dog treats were a great touch. Our Golden Retriever was very happy as well. When in Del Mar, Stratford Court Cafe is a must."
"We've wanted to come here for years! Finally did it this trip. Views are to die for! The food is amazing as well. Prices aren't horrible for the views you get at all!Don't get the Mai Tai though! I love them but theirs is literally a cup of Rum. No returns. I appreciate a strong drink but I could barely choke it down."
"We made a reservation for the high tide dinner. Spectacular views of the ocean crashing into the windows, as promised. Wellworth, the prefix price of 165 per person.( not including drinks.) we brought our own bottle. $45 cage fee. The menu for this summertime high tide . Was spot on. we started off with the fresh focaccia bread with a cucumber cold soup. And Hamachi. Crudo. Large pieces of delicious fish. We enjoyed the buttery filet mignon and the ocean trout from Tasmania . Plenty of food lots of leftovers . The desserts are divine. I had a dark chocolate ganache cake, and we enjoyed the strawberry crêpe dessert. And at the end of the meal, we were given these adorable dark chocolate seahorses filled with caramel. ( make sure to ask for a window table if you can) I think I had called three times. There is plenty of parking on the street if you come early, but they do offer valet parking . ( unfortunately only when they're having their high tide dinners, you cannot sit at the bar, they will charge you the same amount which is 165 per person for dinner. The view is still gorgeous.) If you were to come on, you can sit at the bar and enjoy . The service is outstanding ..."
"I can't believe I didn't post a review of this company after the BSD event last year! OMG!!The service here is amazing! Top Notch! The Ambiance it beautiful! I will definitely return. They have an excellent selection of wines and cigars! I will definitely be back."
"Great patio with views of the estuary and tbh very fun trains going by in the distance! A welcoming and attentive staff, and great food & cocktails. It was warm so my date had an elderflower spritz and I had a Negroni because it's a Negroni, you can't go wrong! For dinner a solid Cesar, and then two great pastas : my date had a tasty spicy Capesante e Gamberi, and I had a luscious mushroomy Ragu' Di Agnello, I have to say there were no leftovers :). Wonderful!"
"Pretty cool that you can see/hear the Padres play from the patio. They were busy on game day but our server did great. My burger was yummy and satisfying, I would've finished it if I weren't so full.I was happy with what I got, just order wisely. The ahi tacos looked sad, lol."
"Great beer selection and the local music nights are the best! Just what Pb has been needing! We love it here!"
"We came for lunch and ordered their lunch special. Food is delicious and fresh. Service is ok, we were seated immediately but the silver wares and napkin came in after the food was served. Ambiance was nice, table cloths and good natural light from big windows."
"I've been visiting Carruth Cellar for many years, love the chill vibe and a cozy ambiance. This location doesn't have food on site but you can bring your own. There is live music and pizza pop up on Wednesdays . Lots of communal seating with long tables. Its family and pet friendly. I don't personally like dogs inside the winery but its allowed. There is a small outdoor patio with umbrellas. Cool spot for a date night or a glass of wine with your friends. Lately I've been loving their Unicorn red blend"

This review is for one of their private cocktail classes.I booked a private class here with a group of 7. At the time I booked, it was $60/per person for a private one-hour class to make two cocktails + sales tax. It feels pricey off the bat but honestly I thought it was worth it! Such a fun experience to do with friends. All the tools and ingredients were setup nicely for us upon arrival. The instructor we had was great -- she was personable and walked us through every step, sharing information about the various ingredients and tips on how to make the drinks at home. Both drinks we made were yummy, to the point that our group couldn't stop there and ended up ordering more drinks at the bar after our class! They also offer some bites / appetizers, but we opted to go for dinner after so we didn't try any of the food options here.Overall highly recommend this activity!Parking: This is an area of downtown where it's just street parking or paid lots, so a heads up if you are driving.

Located inside the Westin, this is an exceptionally good place for breakfast in the Gaslamp. Eggs and bacon were cooked exactly as I had requested. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. The host sat me immediately. Jessica was an outstanding server!

Enjoyed a Friday evening here after the work week. The flight ordered was crisp and cold. There was a cream ale somewhere in there along with a hef. The Hawaiian pizza was a surprise. It didn't look like it had a lot of protein to it but the little pieces of ham actually packed a punch along with the pineapple jam. WL is a good offset to the bigger chains of breweries in this area as it is a bit smaller but a great competitor.

Came by for brunch buffet on Sunday which is available from 9:30a-2:45p for $68 and limit is 2hours.The place was really nice and it did overlook the bay. They offer the strongest Mai tai which has no juice in the mix. They aren't wrong when they say it's strong and boy it was. You are only able to order 2 max. I was barely able to finish 1. Their food selection was not too bad. For seafood they had poke, shrimp cocktail, crab legs, and oysters. They also had crab Benedict, cinnamon rolls, coconut pancakes, nuetella French toast, fried rice, short ribs, ham and prime rib. They also have an eggs omelet station. Quality was not that bad, I mean I've had better crab legs and their other buffet restaurant across the way. Our server was really nice.Overall I would rate this place a 8/10

Hear so much about this place and decided to come here to celebrate our anniversary. Stefano was our server and provided great recommendations. We split the lobster bisque and the 32oz tomahawk steak with a side of potato puree. Huge serving, very filling. They gave us a fresh focaccia which is my staple for a steak house. The lobster bisque was very thick and filling. Full of flavor and came with a cheddar biscuit. The tomahawk was huge but had a lot of fat. Beautiful view of the ocean. known for high tide dining . They had a beautiful lounge area by the bar. I do want to come back to try the wagyu. They gave us a complimentary dessert that wasn't on the menu for our anniversary. It was very delicious. Lemony cake.

Love this place. Beautiful decor, great service and a variety of themed nights. On Wednesdays you can check out a mellow Hip Hop Night, and on Thursdays they have an awesome Spoken word event. Fridays and Saturdays they have a DJ. There's also table games available for you and your friends, or you can make a new one while here. It's a place where you want to look casual/professional to sip on some fine wine and kickback with great convo. There's also charcuterie boards available if you're feeling like a snack. Johnny is an amazing and knowledgeable Sommelier so be sure to pick his brain about the wine! The owners did a fantastic job on the layout of this quaint and highly attractive establishment. Although it is a cigar lounge, you can purchase, but can't smoke inside due to it being inside the mall so keep that in mind if you're looking to smoke. 10 stars all the way around!

We had reservations for restaurant week. Went on a weekday. I hit a little traffic going taking Carmel Valley Rd going west but still made it on time. They had private parking spaces and also plenty of street parking. We were seated right away and was greeted with smiles and jokes. Winning there. We sat outside to get a good view outside. They had heaters. We had the restaurant week pre-fixe menu. Pastas were good. The carpaccio was light and delicious. Panna cotta was okay. Decent place but probably go out of my way, hitting traffic. It had to be spectacular for me to drive in that traffic.
Visit Restaurant Page"The food at Sufi is so comforting and delicious! I was kindly invited to dinner by a wonderful friend who wanted to be able to share Persian food with us. What a treat! He walked me through the menu that has some well known items as well as some lesser known options for those not as familiar with Persian food. The menu also seemed to be slightly fusion with some non-Persian foods like chicken tikka masala and samosas. We each ordered an entree, but also shared some appetizers. The only miss was the crispy rice appetizer. It was a little too hard and inedible. Everything else was an absolute hit! I ordered the koobideh combo platter. It came with the garden salad, rice and koobideh (one ground chicken and one ground beef). I was obsessed with the dressing on the garden salad. It was so good, but I also appreciated that it was poured on lightly- just enough to enjoy, not too overwhelming. The koobideh was flavorful and tender. Paired with the rice, it was so warming and good. It also paired really nicely with the yogurt side. This is a great spot to dine with friends. I had such lovely company and we enjoyed our meal on the spacious outdoor covered patio area. They also have a very large indoor area with ornate decor. Parking is very easy here and prices are very fair for the portion!"
"I have had Ballast Point several times at this point now and had a fair range of their beers, granted it was mostly IPA'S but I do have to say each of their IPA'S has distinguishing characteristics so you indeed can separate the difference from one IPA from another. My most favorite of their beers at this point anyway is their Sculpin IPA series. I simply love the brewery's Grapefruit Sculpin and the regular Sculpin I like quite well also. After doing some poking around they also have a Habanero Sculpin which I would love to try sometime but thus far has eluded me.The two Sculpin IPA'S you can expect to be light bodied, hoppy, fruity and sweet and of course Grapefruit with the Grapefruit version.Moving on from the Sculpin series the Watermelon Dorado was another excellent beer and left very impressed with. A nice light, dry, hoppy and wheat oriented beer.Big Gus, another IPAbI found very refreshing as well with it's fruity, hoppy, sweet and strong characteristics. Moving out of IPA territory I had the Grunion Pale Ale. I liked this one but not quite as much as the IPA'S. It is floral, hoppy, fruity and smooth with a light body.I walk away very impressed with the beers I have had from Ballast Point and I would be very excited to get the Habanero Sculpin. Perhaps someday that will materialize."
"I've been wanting to check out Joya for a while now, but their hours were very limited. I was able go one Friday afternoon for happy hour back in August! The area is very spacious! There is a pool table inside and ping pong in the lawn area.We sat at the bar and I decided to try their blue green ocean smoothie. It came with blueberries, pineapple, banana, coconut, agave, spiralina, and kale. It was nice of them to split it for us. It was a darker blue than I normally see with spirulina, but was very refreshing and healthy! From the happy hour menu, we chose the tuna poke bowl and Baja shrimp tacos. The food was pretty good and were nice portions. We ran into a friend of ours and she let us try some of her food. I had some of the quesadilla, fries, and salad. Everything was very tasty!"
"They are placed in a huge shopping plaza shared with a Mexican grocery store and gas station. So there are plenty of parking spaces but it does get packed. They will seat you even if your whole party is not here yet. And they still do carts so you can look, point, and eat. The ladies pushing the carts will speak to you in Chinese but they can tell you what type of protein the dish has in English. The people is suits are typically managers that speak English and will bring you water, take the larger dish orders and get your check. Prices of the dishes are based on the size label so check the menu if you are trying to budget. Their dumplings and Siu Mai's are larger in size compared to the other major dim sum places in San Diego. Our favorite is their shrimp in flat noodle dish. Ask for some extra sauce as it is a sweet sauce that goes well with anything. Overall they are not salty and put a lot of ingredients into each piece. From the kitchen, their Mongolian beef is amazing. The meat is soft, not too salty and their onions are crunchy and sweet. They bring out a good amount too."
"Jamul's best kept secret, Chandelier's Sunday brunch. I know what you're thinking "that place is never open", well, on Sundays they are and it is worth the price of admission (approximately $17per person). The food was legit - buffet style includes the basics such as rice, beans, enchiladas, but then steps up to their game with a few delicious guisados ( stews), Birria, machaca, and finishes it all off with menudo and two types of pozole. Include water and coffee and you'll walk out of there a happy customer. The service is way nice, the chef (Georgina) is super engaging and the place is tastefully decorated, one really feels the passion they put into the effort. A great way to spend a Sunday morning in Jamul!"
"Came on a Friday night, which happened to be a first Friday of the month. I was surprised to see a security pat down the gentleman in front of me, but the security guard did not pat us down when I said we're going to the restaurant. The extra security is for the nightclub that happens on just the first Fridays. We arrived perhaps 6:30pm or so, and music inside was already blasting. Just know if you'll be dining on a first Friday that you will hear loud bass from the adjoining space. The decor is definitely entertaining to look at. So many pieces of memorabilia and vintage pieces. I wish I could wander around and look at it all. It almost feels like a museum in a restaurant. The outside and structure of the building itself is unique and gives a rustic feel. Just adds to the experience of the visit. We were greeted by a very friendly host who, upon our request, made sure we got a good window seat when we requested a view of the airstrip. He also immediately brought a kids menu and crayons for our kid.We were served by Laura, who made sure our kid had a paper water cup. For our child, we ordered the grilled cheese with fruit, milk, and rainbow sorbet. The fruits at this time were strawberries, grapes, and watermelon. The meal was well liked.I ordered the Aviator Burger medium well, but it was more well. I would get medium next time. I liked the bacon jam, which brought a nice contrasting sweetness to the burger. I wish the burger didn't have blue cheese or arugula, but that's just my preference. In hindsight, I didn't notice any aioli in the burger, but I wasn't really looking for it. Shoestring fries were indeed very thin and crisp, not too salty."
"I just love this place! Their burger, lamb meatballs, garlic butter shrimp, and el Camino cocktail are my go-tos. And their crispy potatoes! Service is always great and I love their live music (and blankets) on their patio."
"I booked a reservation for my husband and me at 3:30pm on a Saturday. We parked inside a closeby garage and walked about a minute to the front entrance. We were seated immediately in a booth by the bar area. This restaurant is huge as we saw many different seating and loved how beautiful the outside patio seating looked. There's an upstairs too with an additional bathroom area. The food was excellent! My husband loved his birria quesadillas and he let me try, the meat was so tender and juicy. I really liked my rolled tacos which was basically taquitos. The tortilla soup was pretty good with nice big chunks of shredded chicken but I'd skip on it next time. I was hoping to order a dozen of the handmade tortillas with butter, but our waitress said they were short staffed and were not selling them to serve. I was very disappointed since that was the number one thing I was looking forward to. Later on, our waitress surprised me and gave me two handmade tortillas which was so nice of her!I also had the hibiscus margarita and it was a big drink, I could only handle the one.Overall, we had a great time here and enjoyed the carefree and the clay tiled Mexico City aesthetic."
"Such a great place! Everything from their outdoor seating area that's dog-friendly to indoor space to their wine and food selection. This is conveniently located on the opposite side of the parking lot of Liberty Station food hall and it's fairly easy to find parking with all of the lots/street parking around. There is a huge "wine garden" sign welcoming you and a nice outdoor area to hang out and drink/eat. I particularly liked the indoor area with their large bar and seating along the walls. All of the ladies working were super friendly and helpful as well! This trip I ordered the Bartender Choice flight reds and I enjoyed them all. My favorite was probably the Tempranillo. Our table also sampled a bunch of different food items with my favorite being the warm ginger molasses cookie. This is a great addition to Liberty Station and I will be back!"
"Cute little restaurant with indoor outdoor seating. Wonderful menu with delicious options like truffle risotto and scallops, butternut squash soup and squash blossoms filled with ricotta all on our order! Sweet service and yummy lemon martini! Don't miss!"
"I teeter on 4 or 5 stars for Puesto. What it makes it worth 5 stars:-This location is gorgeous! They took over the old Gordon Biersch Brewery and transformed it into a beautiful space. It can be rented for events and it's absolutely stunning. -It's also the most convenient to get to this location because of the parking lot accessibility. -The food at Puesto is good! I love the potato taquitos and the delicious dipping sauce it comes with. Other favorites for me include the shrimp taco and shrimp quesadilla. They do shrimp right!-Great service! Staff is friendly and responsive. What makes it worth 4 stars:-The price is just really tough! Especially living in San Diego, the idea of paying $10 for a single taco hurts! On top of that, a $18 margarita is rough! Happy Hour pricing doesn't make a huge impact on the pricing. The food is good, but it's really hard to justify just how much they charge for their food."
"What a wonderful restaurant! This place is very deceptively large and we had a spot in the back that was more away from everyone. Very romantic! We had their salami and burrata/polenta starter that was very tasty. Their alcoholic version of a Shirley temple was divine!Their diavola pizza was phenomenally spicy and their homemade gnocchi was fantastic. We finished off the night with their ricotta cheesecake. You NEED to try this. It was so very good!!!Special shout out to Lorenzo who was the BEST. Apparently he is the owner's son and it was great to find out this place was family ran. You can tell they put care into it and the food!Parking can be a pain because it's La Jolla but if you're patient you'll find a spot.We will DEFINITELY be back and plan on having our rehearsal dinner here it was so yummy."
"Very delicious lunch here. I hadn't been in several years but this used to be THE place for lunch in the area when it first opened. More casual, cheaper sibling to Pacifica Del Mar upstairs, on level 2 of the Del Mar Plaza. You can't reserve seats here and it can be busy at lunch. But we grabbed one as other people were vacating. Very tasty Sugar Spiced Salmon Torta, which came with a nice mixed green salad (with blue cheese and walnuts) for $15. Beautiful ocean view and nice patio. I also got a cappuccino for dessert - they use Lavazza coffee and it was extremely delicious. You order at the counter and then they bring to you. It took a bit of time - but you're here to enjoy the scenery anyway, so who's rushing?I need to remember to come here more often - it's beautiful and tasty - and they were very friendly! You can park on the street or validate parking in the Plaza."
"Our office moved to Point Loma so I was checking out local coffee places and my boss told me to check out Jennings! It's maybe a block away so that was a plus! For my first visit I had an iced matcha latte, then I saw the pastries and I overindulged, I ended up picking up a pistachio baklava, an original baklava and a sticky bun. I literally said "treat yourself." I got to meet Kathy the owner and she was really sweet, she makes the pastries minus the baklava in house. My matcha hit the spot a good amount of caffeine and sweetened just how I prefer, my pastries were AMAZING. I had to stop myself from finishing the sticky bun, I promised my husband that I would share. The baklava on the other hand I demolished, their longer pieces so to me it seemed like I had 4 pieces per stick. Today I ended up getting their chai latte and same thing, really tasty, sweetened how I like and just very good. Definitely have to try their breakfast next time!"
"This piano bar is such a unique and entertaining experience with delicious drinks to match. James and Martha in particular were great, and I highly recommend going on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings because of the no cover special. I love that you can request songs and note the inspiration or occassion for joining. You're hand stamped upon entry, but we were asked to show our hand stamp to enter the restroom."
"Such a fun, relaxing restaurant with great views of the bridge and golf course. We sat outside and enjoyed the shade and view in the beautiful December afternoon. It was quiet on a weekday lunch and we had basically the entire outdoor area to ourselves. It was very casual and you can come in any regular clothes to have lunch. The food tasted great and the drinks were refreshing and well-priced. This place is really quite a hidden gem. The salmon salad was delicious and the appetizer of Quesadilla with salmon and guacamole was also good. It is such a lovely area and bright and happy. Would love to go back. There's also a golf store there with some logo-items and also great facilities."
"This is not only a great spot to enjoy on the weekends but it is an awesome spot to grab a drink and some snacks before heading into a Padres game. They have a wide variety of drinks including fun bucket drinks that are Padres themed so a great thing to enjoy before cheering on the Padres! They have some fun games to play as well while you enjoy some drinks. We came on a Monday so it wasn't too busy and the service was really quick. I will definitely be back before a game as it was a great spot!"
"When you have the right server, it makes a huge difference. This time we asked that we have a table away from the offending server. That request means honored and our waiter was fabulous. He was attentive, gave us good suggestions and took care of our needs. For this meal, we had the trifecta: great food, great service and a special table that was a bit quieter than sitting in the center section of the restaurant. Thanks for making us feel special again."
"Great place to come watch the games. They have multiple TVs including a giant one. Ordered the search bar wings that was on special for game day $7. Very good wings. The service was ok. Lots of seating at the bar. Tons of Hig tables and booths as well. I saw hookah which is an option here. Parking was a bit challenging since it is shared by multiple places. K-1, a jump park for kids and a couple more places."
"This NZ inspired brewery (& wine bar) restaurant located in University Heights is a must visit! The upstairs open layout is my favorite. An airy, modern, plus dog friendly atmosphere with nice views of the neighborhood. What more could one want. Comfy seats, check. Well maybe some delicious food to go with the great drink selection as well, check check. Perfect place to spend an afternoon. Oh, there's a happy hour too!"
"The crispy brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze are my all time favorite! These are the best brussel sprouts I have ever have and honestly just come here for the brussel sprouts. Lounge seating is nice in the back, but try to sit away from the bathroom. The seats next to the bathroom kind of sucks because people always leave the door open. Its a turn off when you are trying to eat but have a view of a toilet...Service is also typically slow whenever I have gone, but its a great place if you are casually hanging out with friends and don't have anywhere to be afterwards. They also have some card games for anyone to use."
"Great snax for everyone. My snack was 11 beers. My Grandma had the carnitas. My Uncle had 6 rose. How do you spell rose? Not the flower but the chilled wine?Anyways.Steve had the guac and chips. He kept trying to tickle everyone. I kept telling him don't piss off grandma.Thank you"
