"This juice is spot is located in El Cajon in the same plaza as Popeyes chicken and $10 store. Great healthy breakfast or snack for me. The açaí build a bowl was deliciously I added mango, strawberry, granola plus almond butter only $7. The açaí was delicious so smooth and creamy. Excellent assortment of menu items teas, smoothies and açaí bowls. Great portion sizes. Reasonable price. Excellent customer service, the owner is awesome! Overall positive experience. Will positively return in the near future"

"Acai Carioca has set up a mobile stand in front of the California Dreams Hostel on Emerald St in PB just yards away from the waterfront. They have a simple menu in which you choose one of four serving sizes, a base, and then toppings. Tuesday was unlimited toppings day, yet the cashier didn't inform me about the offer. Brazilian cheese balls (pao de queijo) made of tapioca flour were also available for purchase.The cup sizes ranged from 12 oz to 32 oz with two to four toppings included. There were two base types... carioca (traditional acai berries blended with honey) and protein style. The latter cost an extra dollar because it was carioca plus a vanilla vegan protein powder. Nineteen different toppings were offered at an additional one dollar each.I picked a regular size carioca with strawberries and more honey. The natural sweetness from the premium acai was already high so the extra honey increased it even more. I think the 12 oz size would be sufficient for most customers because the 32 oz serving with four toppings at a price of $25 was steep. This was a very good quality product that exceeds the acai you get in a bowl at the chain shops."

"Depth of menu, location and quality.This place is nestled in a small square with a taco shop.What I loved is the depth in the juice and smoothie options.The drinks are made from scratch.I ordered the chunky monkey protein shake that contained-peanut butter, cacao nibs, dates, chocolate peanut butter, whey protein blended with almond milk.I was impressed with the quality, taste and size definitely filled me up.The price points are reasonable for the quality and quantity in the drinks made here.I will return to this small but mighty little shop"

"We have stopped by this stand many times over the years and the bowls are pretty good. Customer service is nice, not great. They are located in the busiest part of the market so I think that can effect the mood of the employees.I am giving 3 stars for the price of the Acai bowls. I know prices are high everywhere and I typically wont judge too much on price but these bowls are around $15 each. It is not worth the value and size of the food. They are good bowls but not for $15.The service is slow but that is not a deterring factor because I know the bowls are made to order. Overall, I may be back because they are the only Acai bowl in the place but I will look for other options."

"I needed a smoothie to revive me and give me some energy for the day, and it did just that! I ended up getting their Compassionate Cacao drink which tasted BOMB. I'm not going to lie the $13 I paid for this was a tad scary, but worth it. Also, the guy at front was nice and prompt. He did fill that smoothie cup fully, I just drank some before taking a photo. They have a beautiful outdoor area but I decided to take a walk to the park to enjoy this. This spot is just round the corner from my friends place, and I will come back when I see them again."

"This is great little drive thru and walk up coffee cottage with a single small table at the front. The young ladies running the shop make terrific coffee, as I learned from the 16 oz Cafe au Lait with 2% milk.The cafe au lait was very well made with just the right amount of hot milk added to the coffee to create a nice frothy and slightly creamy layer on top. The coffee they used was a medium Cafe Moto roast and was full bodied with very good robust finish. I great was to start my day indeed.They offer a variety of coffees here and also make Acai Bowls, teas, package granola and oatmeal products. Service is quick and served with a friendly smile. As I enjoyed my coffee at the single table they offer, the ladies struck up nice conversation. All their coffees are organic and part of fair trade."

"Stopped here for a bowl and loved it! We had dinner reservations at an Italian place for dinner so we were looking for something light and fruit-forward for lunch. The staff (Magdalena) was super helpful and friendly. I got a combo of the three different kinds of sorbet as well as the house works in terms of toppings (fruits, granola, coconut and more). For about $17 (large size), the portion size was incredible! So much sorbet and fresh fruit that they had to put plastic wrap on top to hold everything in place -- pretty legendary in my book! I had to ask for an extra plate to catch the inevitable fruit landslide as soon as I unwrapped it! I liked how it wasn't overly sweet and the ingredients were ultra fresh too. Also got an antioxidant smoothie which was great -- lots of fresh berries, banana and açai, not too sweet either. 100% will be back next time I am in San Diego!!!"

"A hidden gem, almost speakeasy-esque! This little cart is located within the Nobel Executive Center, a non-descript office park near Nobel Drive and the 5 Freeway. It's near the back of the complex, and has a good amount of outdoor seating. I had the iced Americano and sweetened it. The espresso was made really well, which made this a great morning pick-me-up. The menu also has a number of non-coffee items as well, with pastries on display. The service was spectacular, with the staff making sure that we were happy with our drinks! Definitely try this place out, and don't let the location scare you"

"I've been returning to Extraordinary Fruits since 2015, and over its evolution, I have been impressed with the expansion and quality of the menu.Recently, I had a new menu item, the beef quesa tacos, and they were delicious. The beef was tender and juicy, and most importantly very tasty. The order comes in sets of three. I've also had in the past: the shrimp tacos which were great and they do not hold back on the shrimp, the French Toast, the breakfast wrap, the chicken Caesar wrap, and chilaquiles. They were all very tasty and filling. Also, they offer a variety of agua frescas and smoothies.I always look forward to what new item they plan to add to the menu."

However, the drinks are not consistent in sweetness.Too bad they got rid of their durian ones. What bothers me though is that you can pay $1.00 for "less ice," but they literally just remove the amount of ice and don't fill it with more sugarcane juice. The drink never gets filled to the top and while some places do that to let the ice melt, paying $1 more for the removal of said ice alone without more sugarcane drink seems ridiculous."

"LOVED this place and the bowl I got!! I was craving an acai bowl all weekend and was looking for the best spot to get one and boy did I stumble upon it. The workers are so sweet, helpful, and they totally went above and beyond. As expected of a woman owned business! You order inside and there's also a fridge with juices. Once you order, you wait outside for your delicious smoothies and bowls. They have dining table tops outside and some benches for you to sit on if those are taken. I ordered The Wave and I'll literally be dreaming of this until the next time I come back. It had a scoop of coconut, spirulina, and pitaya!! All my faves! The granola is housemade and the current seasonal toppings are plums. Perfect for yourself, if you're hungry, or to share with someone else! When you park in the guest parking lot, you get 1 hour free, which is more than enough time to grab and drink and bit here. I had a good cortado and a fantastic soyrizo breakfast empanada from a local vendor. The cortado was good with a rich coffee flavor and a good smoothness. It just was a little heavy on the foam, not common with a cortado. Like said, the empanada was great. The filling was quite delicious. They soyrizo was scrambled in with a very good amount of eggs, which made the empanada shine. The crust of the empanada was very good, too. It was crisp in the right places and had a good softness in the right places. The service was upbeat and friendly. They offer breakfast burritos, paninis, smoothies, and salads, too. Not to mention avocado toast and specialty seasonal beverages. There's a good amount of inside seating and a lot of outside seating. It is a very nice place."

"This place rocks!!They are located in the clubhouse on the ground of the Balboa Tennis Club, with an easy to access counter window for quick service.They make an assortment of various breakfast, lunch and snack items, all fresh to order.I've had egg sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, smoothies, and they've all been great.Their prices are way too low, and I've told them to raise their sandwich prices by at least $1. Today I ordered their turkey sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread, which comes with avocado, tomato, cheese and spinach, and price is only $5!!! I asked for no cheese, and extra turkey, and they charged me $5.50. I told them it should be $7, and they need to raise their prices.So glad they're here, and I hope they make it to stay.
