"Pretty close to my job so I decided to stop by one day for lunch. Everything automatically comes out in to-go containers, but there is plenty of seating to stay and eat there. My friend got the Chicken Masala and I ended up getting the Samosa Chaat and the Chicken Biryani with a level 5 (out of 10) spice level. The man at the counter decided to remind me THREE times that it was an Indian restaurant and therefore Indian spice levels. While I understand why he felt the need to doublecheck my spice level, he didn't need to do it three times. The food wasn't even that spicy to me when I ate it, so I'm not sure why he needed to do that. I really liked the samosa especially with the green sauce they provided. That added a nice bit of spice and flavor without being overwhelming. The biryani was okay. I've definitely had better, but I wasn't disappointed by it. My biggest complaint was that they had a bunch of spices in it and I kept biting into them. I had to be really careful when taking bites because one of the spices was hard and scared the crap out of me when I took a bite. There was definitely not enough chicken for all the rice they gave either. Not bad, but nothing amazing."
"I was SHOOK at how delicious this place actually is.As someone with Lebanese/Syrian/Armenian roots, I have high standards when it comes to any middle eastern food and restaurant. Most places skimp on the flavor and spices to appease the "western" palette, while others are lazy in the process of crafting the foods with the traditions that are needed to uphold quality.Shawarma Guys not only keeps that flavor profile and preparation standards, but they also elevate it to a whole new level for Californians and foodies in general.Staff was super friendly and offered great recommendations. First up - the Wagyu Shawarma Egg Rolls.WOW. WOW. WOW.The egg rolls are SO crunchy and crispy, and great sized. They are FILLED with juicy, crispy, soft flavorful shawarma meat, plenty of cheese, and the toum is perfection. Seriously, I could eat these every day.Now for the California shawarma. I had no idea this thing was the size of a baby burrito, honestly I couldn't even finish it after eating the egg rolls, but man it was so damn good I would've finished it if I wasn't on my way to an event. This was filled with chicken shawarma, fries, lettuce, pickles, rice, garlic paste, tortila. Although it was excellent, I think it would be even more excellent with the beef shawarma. The chicken was soft and flavorful, the rice was amazing, crispy fries, fresh veggies, crunchy pickles, and again that amazing garlic paste. Seriously, this place is a must on anyone's SD food visits."

Visit Restaurant Page"We stumbled upon this place on a Friday evening and absolutely loved the food! We tried the lamb chops, the platter #2 and a couple of mango lassis for the kiddos. The meat was tender, succulent, and so flavorful - very authentic as well. The tandoori garlic naan was fantastic - piping hot, crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. We also wanted to try the Beef Qeema Naan was a tad disappointing for the simple fact that the naan only had a few crumbles of beef qeema (mince) on the surface, but no stuffing. My son was so impressed that he wanted to cater food from here for his birthday party later in the week. We got a couple of trays of kebabs as appetizers and it was such a huge hit with the guests, including the bunch of hard to impress teenagers! We look forward to visiting this place again and trying more items from the menu as well as the lunch buffet."
"I'm sorry to say my husband and I were extremely underwhelmed. I've gone to the South Park location off and on for a few years and I found what I ordered tasty. However today I got the blandest falafel wrap I've ever had. There was no flavor at all and the falafel on their own were greasy and lacking any flavor other than maybe a boiled potato.I don't eat meat so can't speak to the other items. Unfortunately I don't think I'd return, which I think is pretty tragic given my support in the past."
"My friend brought me to this delicious restaurant last night and I'm beyond happy he introduced me to Mal Al sham . We had such a lovely dining experience. I really like that they are open until 10:00 so you can have a late dinner . The restaurant is decorated very cute and it's a good sized dining room . Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was very fresh and delicious. They serve some of the best hummus I've ever had . I had the beef Tikka with french fries and it blew my mind . The kebabs are really tender and seasoned to perfection. I will be ordering this 1 time a month. I highly recommend dining here ."
"Although open for 7 months, this place is still new. Prices and selection of fresh produce and packaged food do not seem any "better" than many other places but this store does offer a few items that their closest competitors don't. This local grocery store probably appeals most to recent Afghan immigrants who live nearby - and possibly to various other Muslims seeking reliable fresh halal meat. English is spoken. ;-)"
"The food is infused with the love and nostalgia of immigration... The food is home, love and hospitality...We had goat meat carrot stew and salad over rice. We also ordered vegetarian sambusas. You will be welcome with a smile and kindness while they help you figure out your selection. The ambiance is simple clean magical and peaceful.I love the people, the place and the food!!!"
"We checked out this spot since it was close to our place. 12/10 would recommend.Everything is made super fresh and the employees were super friendly. Fries seasoned perfectly. We opened our gyros wrong and all the meat fell out, but still so delicious. Loaded with meat and fresh veggies and grilled onions.Definitely a spot worth checking out"
"I couldn't believe that their lunch specials was 8.99? What? The fine print reads it's only "to go", which is definitely not a problem. The plaza itself has chairs and tables everywhere and it's literally a few steps away from the restaurant so there's no issue just to get your food and eat right there. I'm not sure why they have that as the fine printAnyhow another good thing about it is you can order ahead of time Yup it's that easy. At first glance when I got my food I felt like it wasn't enough, but of course our eyes usually more hungry than our stomachs. It was definitely enough and portion control nowadays is key. I enjoyed my food so far and can't wait to try out the others. Definitely hard to find food under $10 bucks. YUM!"
"The food at Sufi is so comforting and delicious! I was kindly invited to dinner by a wonderful friend who wanted to be able to share Persian food with us. What a treat! He walked me through the menu that has some well known items as well as some lesser known options for those not as familiar with Persian food. The menu also seemed to be slightly fusion with some non-Persian foods like chicken tikka masala and samosas. We each ordered an entree, but also shared some appetizers. The only miss was the crispy rice appetizer. It was a little too hard and inedible. Everything else was an absolute hit! I ordered the koobideh combo platter. It came with the garden salad, rice and koobideh (one ground chicken and one ground beef). I was obsessed with the dressing on the garden salad. It was so good, but I also appreciated that it was poured on lightly- just enough to enjoy, not too overwhelming. The koobideh was flavorful and tender. Paired with the rice, it was so warming and good. It also paired really nicely with the yogurt side. This is a great spot to dine with friends. I had such lovely company and we enjoyed our meal on the spacious outdoor covered patio area. They also have a very large indoor area with ornate decor. Parking is very easy here and prices are very fair for the portion!"
"Mystic Grill replaced a longtime Italian eatery, Giovanni's, at this location in Clairemont. The refurbished interior was very clean and brightly lit. I did not go upstairs to check out the environment there so I can't comment on how it appeared. The menu screens displayed all the classic Middle Eastern dishes as one would expect. There were some pasta entrees too which I thought were unique because you normally don't see such items at this type of restaurant.I started with an appetizer of Dolmas (stuffed grape leaves). I also wanted to try the Stuffed Salmon, but it was unavailable so my alternative was the salmon with four jumbo shrimp. The plate was supposed to be served with feta cheese salad, hummus, basmati rice, and pita bread. For some reason, the kitchen made it with penne pasta slathered in alfredo sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, black olives, and mushrooms. I guess the cook may have been confused because such a pasta style with salmon and shrimp didn't even exist on the menu.Tastewise, the fish was cooked fine, but the shrimp was dry from being on the grill too long. The creamy pasta was too much for me to finish in one sitting so I took the leftovers home. Other than the faux pas with the preparation, the rest of my dining experience at Mystic Grill was positive."
"Mr. Shawarma and his crew 6 some tasty food. I stopped in for an early dinner before the rush. I had a Middle Eastern Pita stuffed with beef shawarma, pickles, tomatoes, onions, parsley, sumac, and tahini sauce with side, and I choose seasoned waffle fries. The beef shawarma was tender and tasty, and the pita came stuffed with a good amount. I like the tahini sauce it was flavorful and not overly done. The onions and pickles worked very well in this pita sandwich. I would have liked it better if they would warm up the pits bread. It was cold and gave a dry texture as a result. They should warm it up in the hot griddle they use.The waffle fries were great. They were crispy and well seasoned. They were great eating with they Jajeek sauce with yogurt, cucumber, and mint. The service was very nice. They young lady at the counter was very sweet. I look forward to returning."

Came here on a Saturday at around 1:30pm and it was pretty empty so we were able to take our time figuring out what we wanted to get. This place is clean and similar to other take out spots where you place your order at the front, and can dine in or just take out. We ordered the samosa chaat, naan, goat curry, and chicken tikka. While we were waiting, the lady who took our order conversed with us and offered us this free drink that was similar to chai. Everything we ordered was really delicious. We did get the goat curry as spicy for my sister, but she said it wasn't as spicy as she would've imagined (which honestly was a good thing, because that meant I could have some too lol. Also she has an extremely high tolerance, so what's somewhat spicy to her is spicy for me). All the dishes were flavorful and even my two year old niece enjoyed the tikka, naan, and rice. The lady who took our order was really sweet and welcoming. Although she did do a littleeee bit of upselling menu items which was somewhat too much. However, the food was delicious, and I appreciated that the lady had carefully wrapped each of our items up in plastic wrap on top of the container to prevent any spills or leaking.

Came on a lucky Saturday and no lines! I lived west Asia for years so I had really high hopes for this place and expected nothing but the best but honestly I was let down. Was the food good? YES, it good but not great or something astronomical. The meat was pretty dry and salty and everything just didn't mash well. Service was really fast nevertheless

I came here specifically to try their lunch buffet special. For only $13.99 you can have all you can eat Pakistani food, and it is delicious!!! They had a handful of options for the buffet, but each one was high quality and flavorful. I loved the chicken curry and tandoori chicken wings. Restaurant has lots of seating and had outdoor seating as well. Would love to come back to try their main menu

Ive been following Shawarma Guys food truck for the longest and was thrilled when I randomly drove by in my neighborhood and saw they had opened up a restaurant in La Mesa !! I quickly placed an order online and went to pick it up 10 minutes later--Upon arrival, I was greeted right away by the friendly cashiers . I let them know I was there was pick-up and they brought out my to-go plate ! They asked if I like pita chips as they were offering sample bags-- um, YESSSS please lol . The restaurant is clean and inviting with plenty of parking . Here's my food review--CHICKEN SHAWARMA AND WAGYU STEAK COMBO PLATE:The wagyu beef was so tender and flavorful-- it was giving me gyro vibes, but waygu steak ! WAGYU STEAK 10/10 . HIGHLY RECOMMEND .Chicken shawarma was tasty also, but a bit on the saltier side for me . It did pair really well with the delicious basmati rice and hummus . CHICKEN SHAWARMA 8/10 . Basmati rice was slightly turmerick-ey, warm, soft, and chewy . Hummus was sooo yummy . Taboulleh salad had lots of herbs and aromatics-- a lovely addition to each bite . The pita bread it came with was a bit chewier than what I'm used to, but still edible . I made little mini stuffed pita sandwiches and they were scrumptious .The PITA CHIPS sample bag they gave me was sooo fresh and crispy-- this went really well for dipping in the hummus . 9/10Overall, I really enjoyed my food !! I would totally come back to try the rest of their menu out . They also had cheesesteaks and loaded fries options on the menu that are literally calling my name RIGHT NOW .

Authentic food. Chicken and beef succguear are both good. Extremely flavorful. We get them both with the rice and pasta. The pasta is very good. The goat is good as well. Incredibly tender, soft and seasoned perfectly. Unfortunately the customer service is trash. They rarely answer the phone and don't go an hour before they open or an hour before they close. Good luck!! Overall, great prices. Nice portion sizes.

I don't understand why they have 4.5 stars !!This place is a hidden jewel !!!They have the best gyros and food I've ever had in my life. The Turkish coffee is really amazing and wakes you up.And the hospitality I get is just out of the world !!!10 stars

Friendly when you walk through the door and were dancing to music. The food was mouthwatering. I ordered the grill combo to try everything since it comes with the beef kabob, chicken tikka, and beef shawarma. The rice was flavorful and I fully enjoyable the salad and hummus. Great spot if you're ever in town!"
"Family style dining for large groups of people or individuals with hefty appetites. The proportions are HUGE. Each dish serves at least 3 people. My favorite dishes were the 3 Flavor Fried Rice w/ beef, chicken and shrimp and the sesame breads from the dim sum menu (which serves about 5-7). People who don't eat pork will appreciate Ma's House, as everything is halal. I get tired of asking if there's pork or lard in the foods I order at other Asian restaurants that tend to use a lot of pork products. Modern decor with soothing neutral colors. Super clean. Very reasonably priced for the generous amount of food served. Excellent for large families and groups. Tons of parking."
"This was a hidden gem for me; my friend recommended me this place.. it's not fancy; but the food is absolutely delicious and authentic. Our server Abdullah was so generous and so kind.. the food was so fresh and delicious that I wanna go back again. We ordered potato bolani, Chapli kabab, kabuli pulao, beef kabab, shinwari chicken karahi Everything was very flavorful. The best was the sheryakh that we ordered at the end. It was very tasty and very authentic flavor."
"TLDR: three stars for experience and value at dinner... But five stars for the hot, fresh and VERY YUMMY food I got!!I would not necessarily recommend coming here for dinner. They are supposed to be open until 9 pm; I came at 7 and it was like they were closing up for the day. The floor was wet as they mopped up, and I almost slipped. I was the only customer there, and I started to get a little nervous. I used to come here before the pandemic when it was a different restaurant. And I found the menu board here confusing. They have south Indian food like idli and dosas, but then also North Indian food like Dal and baingan bharta. I asked the man at the counter what he might recommend as their best vegetarian dishes, and he didn't really direct me in any way. And the place is called "to go"... but my food took about 20 minutes in the evening. And it was about $25 for Dal makhani, naan and a mango lassi. No raita or anything else. HOWEVER... when I got home, the Dal was HELLA delicious. And the naan was buttery and perfect. And the mango lassi was pretty good too. And I still have enough Dal and rice to have more tomorrow. So in the end I am pretty happy with my dinner! I would just recommend coming in the daytime when they have lunch specials, and food will be faster and a better value."
"After returning from a trip to London, we were absolutely craving Indian food. In particular though, looking for black daal (or dal makhani). There are very few restaurants in San Diego that serve it but Tandoori Hut is one of them. While the food wasn't quite comparable to the food in London, though we weren't expecting it to be, it still satisfied the craving that we were having. Would typically give 4 stars, but an extra for having the dal makhani. We ordered the butter chicken, dal makhani, alo gobi, plain naan and raita. Butter Chicken- We decided to go medium on this dish and the spice difference was noticeable. Tolerable but definitely not for someone looking for a typical medium. Chicken was cooked tender. Alo Gobi- This is made dry, so it does not have a curry consistency. It was very tasty and I enjoyed it as a vegetarian option!Dal Makhani- Unlike the black daal we'd enjoyed at Dishoom, it had a much more textured consistency. There was a mix of black lentils with what looked like a few kidney or pinto type beans. Great flavor though. Raita- Much needed to keep things cooled down! Pair with some naan. The online ordering platform was easy to use and we'll definitely order again."
"Baba Kabob has been one of the places I've really enjoyed ordering take out via Uber eats. However, this was my first time dining in at this establishment. The spot was nestled in the Little India Center, which seemed to be bustling on Saturday. Fortunately we were able to bide our time and locate some parking.Upon entertering, you'll notice numerous dishes spread across screens in the restaurant. It was so hard for me to choose what to eat because of how good the food is, but I eventually settled on the Beef and Chicken Kabob combo, while my friend got the Kofta (Koobideh) dish. We also got a side of the famous Potato Bolani.Once we got our dishes, we immediately dug in. Everything was delicious and the highlight was definitely the chicken kabobs, which was very flavorful and juicy (definitely not dry). The Kofta was also very delicious and had a good amount of seasoning and spices in the ground meat. I would recommend dining in sometime. The ambiance was great because they had a nice football game playing on the big screen TV that day. If you're not into the sporting events, you could also see the prep and care they take, when making the dishes. Pretty cool stuff and great food."
"This is grandmas go-to market for all things international. It's pretty decent across the board with a huge smattering of all kinds of fresh produce, meats, deli, and packaged goods. I'm partial to Trader Joe's for better prices, but there are plenty of things here that you can't find there."
"Awesome family-style restaurant with delicious food. Prices are a bit higher than I'm used to, but expected in Hillcrest. - Extensive menu with Afghan, Pakistani, Iranian cuisine- Aushak was the highlight of our meal- Plentiful vegetarian options- Kabob plates were rice heavy with less meat, did not come with much else (no veggies, sauce/dips, etc)- Curry came with less meat and sauce than expected, also rice heavy- Has a bathroom for customersOther:- Parking was difficult, street parking and lots are all paid- Workers and service were very nice, felt family-operated"
"My apartment hosted this food truck on site and although it took a while to get my order it was worth the wait. The tacos were delicious and I loved how they served it with a small order of consume which was perfect for dipping the taco for even more flavor!!! If you ever see them out and about try them out."
"There are so many Desi restaurants in Miramar but this has to be my fave by far. I've come here for Eid dinner with my family and our friends and they were able to accomodate for our group of 20+ people so YES this place is great for big groups. We ordered multiple dishes and did family style as a group and still went home with leftovers because of how much food it was! Everything on the menu was delicious just be prepared with a glass of milk or some yogurt because it is spicy! They get their halal meat from Harris Ranch which if you've been to NorCal before, you know it's the best meat in the state and of high quality! The customer service here is good and they're super responsive on IG. I was trying to order a turkey charga for Friendsgiving through Instagram but wanted it a couple days early and they were able to do that for me! So I went ahead and ordered the turkey charga for the Friendsgiving and it was a hit. It was soooo juicy and seasoned so well, and spicy hehe. I had never had a turkey like this one before but it's definitely going to become something I plan on ordering again in the future.Overall delicious food, great customer service and good location. I will def be back!"
"After many days at comic con recently my group was just wanting to eat somewhere away from the crowd on 5th and our Airbnb was down the street and we were feeling like some Persian or anything along the Mediterranean My friend was like hey this place seems cool and without the major crowds coming down that far on 5th we should have no issues Well the place.had a few tables in service outside but we arrived and quickly realized service may be slow because it was just one person doing the job for everything but the cooking but hey we understand I get itCan't fault that but yeah we sat inside and after a good wait on all things we eventually get some drinks and eventually our food and the food was actually good we liked it Lot but we definitely felt they needed more help that night and our order got a little mixed up but again we get it with the guy doing the best he couldLike I said all food we got was good!"
"This is our Third time trying Indian food. My Son is growing and his craving for different Cuisine is expanding. I asked my Yelper friend what are good to have for Indian Cuisine, and she mentioned a lot that sounds so yummy. I know I will be confused about which to order first, so we decided to searched up an Indian Buffet so at least at a Buffet I can try and be familiar with the food I will see and taste since I am new to the cuisine. This restaurant came out on my Yelp Search and it's Called "ANNAPURNA " . We drove right away to try them. When we came we were greeted by a nice lady at the front desk. She even came to me when i was choosing what to get and helped me out with what to pick.I was expecting a very strong seasoning or mild spicyness on their food just like the way we tried on the other Indian restaurants that we've tried, but all of the seasoning was light in this Buffet. I know that what I'm eating is good, but it would be more yummier if the Seasoning was a bit stronger. Its a good place to start to get Familiar with Indian food and we will still be back to try them again on a different day, maybe on different day there is a different cook and will put more seasoning on the food for the flavor to come out more."
"So excited to try this food truck! The reviews are enticing and mom's a huge middle eastern food fan.Fidel was amazing. He took time to get to know me and give tips about the food. In fact he even talked me into trying the Vimeo soda which was surprisingly good. A little fruity with a hint of cola. Would definitely get it again.Portions are very generous which makes the price fitting. Mom had chicken shawarma with garlic fries. The garlic was very light, almost unnoticeable. Shawarma was good but benefits from additional sauce. A special black ketchup was included which was very tasty. Suggest asking for extra.I had the beef shawarma wrap with waffle fries. Perfectly cut to eat almost like finger food so you don't get too messy. It was good, seemed fresh. I definitely preferred the waffle fries to the garlic ones. Nice that there was a set up adjacent to the truck to sit and enjoy the meal while it's hot. Worth keeping your eye on this food truck!"
"Mr Shawarma has the best burgers in town. If you are ever in the area and want to try Iraqi food this is the perfect spot to try. The owner is very kind and welcoming to all customers. Highly recommended. 10/10 in taste, quality and flavor. This is a very inspiring business. Started as food truck then became a full restaurant."
"The owner D. was running the front and was very welcoming and provided excellent service. I ordered a burger with bacon, lettuce, and tomato. Bun was fluffy with a nice mild flavor. 2 burger patties were thin and had a crispy outer layer. Beef had a delicious beefy flavor and was perfectly seasoned. Bacon was crunchy and had a tasty salty and smoky flavor. Lettuce and tomato were crisp and fresh. Great tasting burger. Reminds me of Eat Crispy Burger which I love.Fries were hand cut and fried in high quality oil as there was a delicious fried potato flavor with no aftertaste. Onion rings were crunchy and had a delicious onion flavor.2nd visit was on a Sunday when they offer $1 wings and $4 beer. Bbq wings had crunchy batter and coated with bbq sauce. Bbq sauce was sweet and tangy with a light smoky flavor. Pretty good.Salt and pepper wings had a crunchy batter while the wings were tender and juicy. Lightly seasoned with salt and pepper these are my favorite wing here.Young lady running things was nice and provided excellent service."
"Delicious and super fresh! I ordered a chicken salad that was a very generous portion and packed with flavor. I've had their chicken dish too wish rice! The gentleman who helped me was very lovely also!"
"This place has been in my neighborhood since 2018, and I never had a chance to try it in a while, I think it used to be a different pizza place until it got taken over by Baba'z Grill.Located right next to 大三元 777 noodles house, it stays opened until 4 AM every day. If you want to try Middle Eastern style pizza, it is the place, unless you are a regular shawarma or others which they also have on the menu.$18 medium size pizza, I ordered meat lover no cheese and thin crust, came put great, has ground beef, pepperoni and sausage, I was hoping to have chicken on the topping as well, but the size portion was just right, perfect for one person, the thin slides made it decent and not overpowering for my taste, of course without the cheese I enjoyed it even more, plus you get to try to fajitas sauce and the buffalo sauce on your pizza instead of the regular marinara sauce.I guess I missed out on the Mashawi plate, and I am glad I asked, they only have chicken plate right now, and if I wanted something else I need to call ahead.Thank you to Mosab who took care of my order, it was fast, less than 15 minutes, he offered me dine in option since they have tables, but I asked for take out. Also the place accepts EBT, I can't wait to come back to try the Mashawi plate, I obtained the cell phone number of Mosab so I can call in advance.Parking is in the back, since after the road construction it's even harder to find any street parking now."
"Great Mediterranean food! Best thing we had was the shawarma chicken wrap (my favorite--chicken with pickle and garlic sauce). We would definitely order this again! It was way better than the chop wrap (fried chicken with chipotle sauce and lettuce). This came with a bunch of sauces--my favorite being the garlic sauce and then tzatzik sauce. We had the salmon kabob plate. Salmon was juicy and charbroiled just right, served over a bed of rice with lemon wedge, and side of salad and side of hummus w/toasted pita cut into four pieces. Hummus was creamy, tasty, and had just the right amount of garlic and lemon juice. We also ordered a big greek salad, which was more expensive than a wrap. Alexandria (cashier and server) was really nice, helpful, and made the experience wonderful. We will be back and this time, we will try beef and re-order chicken wrap."
"I really like this spot! They are not your traditional fried chicken place. They have some spices imported from Japan, which makes it a little more unique.I tried the tenders, spicy mac n cheese, chicken sandwich, and potato wedges. The chicken was very flavorful and so crispy. The mac n cheese was very creamy and the crowd favorite among my group. Service was very fast and efficient. I need to go back soon!"
"I've been back to this place several times now. Recently, I have tried the Angus cheeseburger combo special for $10.95 which comes with fries and a fountain drink: a good deal. Also, the Iraqi Hammurabi Burger which also came with fries at $10.95.The Angus cheese burger was tasty but it over temped for my taste. What happen was that the cook forgot to put the cheese on the burger, so instead of firing up a new one, they place the burger on the griddle again to help melt the cheese, which over cooked it from medium rare to medium well. I was a little dumbfounded when they did that. The Hammurabi burger was interesting. I liked the grilled tomato, pickles, caramelized onions and the house sauce , but the beef for some reason or another had a gamey flavor to it. I was not very fond of that. I am not saying there was lamb mixed in with the beef, but it sure tasted like it. This burger was temped correctly at medium rare. One thing that I did not like about both burgers were the sesame bun. First, each time the buns had a dry texture to them. They need to be moister, and they are to large for the size of the beef patties they are using. You can barely see the beef patty from the outside. A good burger should have the patty flushed with the bun or the patty should slightly over lapping the bun. On my second burger, I was hoping they would correct the issue with the fries I had the first time. They are seasoned nicely but under cooked and were to soft on both occasions. They use frozen precut fries, so the inside of the fries retain more water from the freezing. As a result, the inside of the fries are to soft with almost mashed potato consistency. Also, the outside of the fries should be on the verge of acquiring that nice gold brown color and have a good crunch about them. These did not on both occasion. I mentioned it to them on an earlier visit to no avail. one minute more in the flavor would probably do the trick. Oh yes, I also had a fattoush salad with Romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, mint, and toasted pita chips. I loved all the ingredients, but the salad was under dressed. It need more olive oil for sure.Service was friendly enough."
"Can't wait to go back! Tried the tiramisu latte and loved it. Delicious flavor and definitely woke me up. Best friend liked her Toffee iced coffee. Very friendly service from Alejandra! Cute little shop."
"Came back again with my friends after a second spartan race. We tried their Somali specials: a goat plate, mixed beef, chicken plate, and a lamb plate. We even got an appetizer item of Buffalo fries (which comes in diff flavors that you can pick from) and four guys finishes that in no time. For the different plates, everything was cooked fresh. The meat was so tender and juicy سبحان الله , and the rice was flavored well also. My friends told me that they enjoyed their chicken. We even got a taste of the burger which was modified and even better than the last time I had it Allahuma barik,Def adding this to my San Diego food list spots and it's close to the masjid as well so recommend coming here after salah if you are hungry"
