"Pretty close to my job so I decided to stop by one day for lunch. Everything automatically comes out in to-go containers, but there is plenty of seating to stay and eat there. My friend got the Chicken Masala and I ended up getting the Samosa Chaat and the Chicken Biryani with a level 5 (out of 10) spice level. The man at the counter decided to remind me THREE times that it was an Indian restaurant and therefore Indian spice levels. While I understand why he felt the need to doublecheck my spice level, he didn't need to do it three times. The food wasn't even that spicy to me when I ate it, so I'm not sure why he needed to do that. I really liked the samosa especially with the green sauce they provided. That added a nice bit of spice and flavor without being overwhelming. The biryani was okay. I've definitely had better, but I wasn't disappointed by it. My biggest complaint was that they had a bunch of spices in it and I kept biting into them. I had to be really careful when taking bites because one of the spices was hard and scared the crap out of me when I took a bite. There was definitely not enough chicken for all the rice they gave either. Not bad, but nothing amazing."

"I've had their Kenny B burger on two occasions, one being a late night Uber Eats order and when I went recently at the Barrio Food Hub. Highly suggest that you order from your food delivery app because the location was quite busy making other people's delivery orders, and will prioritize those first. You arrive and place your order on the touch screen, then will get a text to confirm your order and for pick up. You then use the given code to pick up your food from the locker.Besides the logistics, Bonehead Burger might be the best smash burger and is one of the best options to order from the Barrio Logan Food Hub. Compared to other smash burger joints I've had in SD, Bonehead Burger ranks pretty far on my list. I do feel like it needs extra toppings on it though as well which makes me give a 4 star rating."

"San Diego, I've missed you so much! I know Santee is further from where I'd normally get tacos, burritos, and carne asada fries, but that's where I was staying for this particular vacation. My friend and I came here for dinner and witnessed the obscene amount of food they give. I got the Surf and Turf Fries, which were pretty good. Definitely filling. Didn't love the sauce on top, but I did enjoy the horchata I got on the side. The horchata was mostly ice, but oh well. Decent amount of seating inside the restaurant, as well as parking. Not bad overall!"

"The experience wasn't bad, and it usually isn't with Chick Fil A. However, this location is TERRIBLE. Chick Fil A always brings a lot of traffic to their locations. This parking lot is pitifully small and the drive thru backs up quickly. This leads to the drive thru line winding through the lot and to the street. The worst part is when the drive thru doesn't move, there isn't enough room for people to back out of parking spaces and leave. If you have to come here, I highly recommend waiting in the drive thru line. You'll have a really hard time exiting any of the parking spaces in the parking lot."

I spoke to the owner, and he mentioned that they've changed ownership and recommended that we try their chicken shwarma next time. I sure will, as I never hesitate to sample any recommendations from a business owner or chef.Lumpia Shanghai 8pc ($5): these were addicting. The pork was well-seasoned, and the onion and garlic flavors came through, 8/10 rating.Pork belly bao ($5): the pork belly and bun were tender, and the veggies were a nice compliment, 8.5/10.Sisilog (pork belly+egg+garlic rice [$9.99]): the rice was tasty with the right amount of oil, and they've nailed the garlic flavor. The pork was flavorful, but it had tons of fat on half of the portion. Also, it was not saucy as I am used to with sisig, but it is still decent, 7.5/10.The service was a bit slow, as they cooked to order, but it was worth the wait. I will have to dine in next time to enjoy it all freshly made. A couple of girls were destroying their salt & pepper chicken wings, so I will have to get that on the next visit."

"This place is amazing! I'm so glad Juicy Burgers is finally in San Diego. It puts all other burger joints to shame. It's actually more than a burger place... You can build your own burger with everything from garlic mayonnaise to Sriracha ketchup and everything in between. They have grilled pineapple, jalapeños, spicy Jack cheese, grilled mushrooms, avocado etc. to build your own high-rise burger. This place is for the hungry! It's a very family friendly environment so bring the kids too. Plenty of free parking around the restaurant. I'm posting a few pics of the menu so you can see firsthand how many fun options there are. You could literally come here every day for a year and never eat the same burger haha Definitely don't miss the fried pickles. You'll be hooked. And definitely save room for desert. Cookies, brownies, ice cream and cheesecake!Great place!!"

You'll find the screen door to this family-owned, almost hole-in-the-wall, right next to the laundromat and the opposite end of the tiny strip from 7-Eleven. Don't let the size fool you! As the saying goes, "Great things come in small packages."My husband had a half order of the carne asada nachos with the "green" salsa. Yes, that's the one with some major kick. He loved the whole thing! My mom was impressed with her grilled chicken burrito. She has enough food for a few days! I had the chicken enchiladas..just thinking about them is making me drool again. The sauce was perfection - just the right amount of heat and the seasoning was balanced. The only thing I would change is to leave off the lettuce - next time for sure.Their website says they're going back to takeout only as of 12/6. "Was in the area and craving for hamburgers. Searched for it and this place came up. I was expecting a sit down but it was a drive thru. One of the reviews won me over by saying it was the best burgers like how it was in the 90s. We gave it a try.Absolutely loved it. I got #6 double bacon combo ($11.95)It came with two thin pattie's, tomato, lettuce, onion, bacon, cheese, in house sauce and a sesame bun. So good! The fries remind me of McDonald and I love the shoe string fries lightly salted.I'm a sucker for corn dogs especially Wienerschnitzel and I saw 3 for $4.95. Had to try it and I'm liking it more than other places. Taste just the same with the batter and the hot dog was a size bigger! Oh and you must try the banana shake. Delicious. You taste actual chunks of banana. It was fresh, creamy and satisfied the sweet teeth.They sell croissants, Kebob sandwiches, cheese dog, pitas, and unique items like peanut butter bacon cheeseburger!There's an area for outdoor seating under the patio."

"Why hasn't anyone told me about Taco time until today! Wow what a hidden gem food truck! I'mA huge fan of authentic Mexican food and I have found very authentic Mexican food here. Their street tacos are out of this world. The meat is seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The corn tortillas are homemade, fresh and also cooked perfectly. They have a great salsa bar. I love their mango salsa. I've never had that anywhere else. Their avocado salsa is the bomb too. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this food truck. I had a trio of empanadas: the breakfast with bacon, the corn and basil, and the monthly special, which came with cheese and onions.All the empanadas were very tasty and tasted even better with their chimichurri. The cheese and onions combination was delicious, and so was the corn and basil, which offered a touch of sweetness. The bacon and eggs empanada was very good too, but I would like to see some more bacon inside them. One thing all the three empanadas had in common was the great crust. They are baked to a golden brown and had good texture. Reheated them at home in a simple toaster oven works great or air fryer.Service is super friendly. The location has a few parking spaces in front and some inside seating."

"Located on Front Street, to the left as you come out of the front entrance entering the San Diego Zoo, there you will find Safari Kitchen next to Java Jungle and right by the flamingos. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which was 2 beef patties, 2 pieces of bacon, ice berg lettuce, tomato, red oinion, pickles, and cheese with a complimentary side of fries. I also ordered the onion rings as well as a souvenir sipper. The hamburger was clearly those frozen patties that you would buy at the store, very similar to the reminiscent Elementary school cafeteria style meat...and that's not a compliment. My lettuce was like a wedge slice which kept falling out of my burger and was too thick to chew in one bite, it was a sloppily made burger. The fries were very pale in color and although it stated they were cooked in 100% vegetable oil, it tasted undercooked and looked old. The onion rings were ok, the breading did fall apart, however it was the most uplifting taste out of the whole meal. The service was fast and efficient with the use of a pager system to pick-up your order at the window and took less than 15 minutes. My suggestion to the staff is to have lettuce slices versus the large wedge and to perhaps have the cheese in between the meat patties to help the burger stay together a little better. Also, perhaps the meat can be made fresh versus frozen, it just didn't add up to it's $13.99 or so price which honestly seemed like you were better off leaving the park for some In N Out instead. I know this is a zoo and not an eating type establishment, but with all the selections and people, you would think that the quality would be a little better. Put it this way, the zoo animals obviously ate better than the humans at this food establishment;)"

Everyone was so friendly! This is the spirit of San Diego that I love so much and it was concentrated there over ceviche and beers! I only added black pepper to both the fries and the burger patty when they arrived.The burger was tasty. However, the burger patties were a little over cooked for my taste or a little on the dry side to clear that up. I asked for a side of pickles, which was grand. I liked these burgers with pickles. All the rest of the ingredients were fresh and very flavorful.The fries, too, were surprisingly good, too, even without the salt. They were crisp and tender. Super friendly, great service, food was done quickly. If you find yourself anywhere near the Morena Costco then I highly recommend stopping by for some food. And every franchise's workers wear the same uniforms, work amid the same Jersey Shore-inspired wall art, prepare their food on the same grills and cutting boards and participate in the same charity work. There shouldn't be anything different about this Lake Murray Blvd. sub shop, but there is.This one consistently gets my order right. I'm always served ingredients a touch fresher than those at other Jersey Mike's, and the sandwiches I buy here always seem to have been more carefully assembled that those I purchase elsewhere.That's all nice, but also, and more remarkably, for as long as the shop's been open, its employees have seemed genuinely happy to be there, appearing to value both their jobs and my business. I'll grant that this may not be the case, that these folks may just be good actors, but I don't think so, unless franchise owners Ray Ibrahim and Nabil Somo have discovered a secret source from which to hire people who possess limitless energy for deceiving customers into believing that they're welcome. I rather prefer to think that the folks are just good at what they do, and that they're proud of it, and that they're happy to serve good, well-crafted food and share a little personal sunshine with the world."

For our entree we enlisted the help of Estrada's (9630 Carlton Hills Blvd, next toPathways church). We ordered a tray of 12 chicken enchiladas. Bex called in the order around 2:00 for a 4:00 pick up. It was around $50. When I arrived at 4:00 they weren't quite ready which was fine by me, that meant they were fresh. And they were.After about seven minutes or so I was handed a huge tin pan full of fat chicken enchiladas. So fat, in fact, only nine fit in the tin. He had to put three in a Styrofoam clam shell container. I also received a large container of shredded lettuce and another full of shredded cheddar and Monterrey jack cheeses. Along with a grip of different flavor/heat levels of salsas.Easy-peasy. Once home, we tossed them into the oven to keep them warm until it was time to serve.They were fantastic enchiladas. Stuffed with shredded chicken. They were much bigger than the enchiladas you receive if you order a two enchilada plate off of the regular menu.We loved them and our guests loved them as well."

"You never know what new place will appear in the UTC food court.  The latest spot is Swagyu Burger.  I loved the Swagyu burger I tried at their now closed Pacific Beach location.  This visit I tried the triple american wagyu burger.  Sadie Rose bun was toasted and had a nice mild flavor, soft, and fluffy.  Lettuce was crisp and had a mild flavor.  Tomato was fresh and juicy.  Wagyu was tender and had a nice beefy flavor.  This was a pretty good burger.  I would have loved it with the addition of some bacon to add a smoky and salty flavor.Onion rings were crunchy and had lots of fried onion flavor.  I noticed they used fresh very high quality oil as there was no bitter after taste.Staff was friendly and efficient.  Swagyu uses very high quality ingredients.  I love the bread from Sadie Rose."

They have only been open for 3 weeks now. The price is decent for amount of food. We tried the Classic Chicken Sandwich and Fries! Very crispy and juicy chicken patties with their own sauce inside with pickles and lettuce. The fries taste fresh like In n Out fries...not frozen! My only complaint was my sandwich kept falling apart -- it being 2 chicken tender patties. They have other things on their menu like loaded fries and mini corn dogs! For drinks they have a soda fountain and different flavored Milk shakes - in which we will definitely come back to try!"

"I never leave a review for a Subway because everyone knows what to expect when going to a Subway, HOWEVER, the customer service level at this subway was beyond what I've experienced at any other subway that I had to make a mention! You're genuinely greeted upon walking in and the attention to detail when making your sandwich felt like a "non-chain" fast food restaurant. They even serve your sandwich in a small basket when eating in which I thought was another great detail to not feel so rushed. Anyway, it's subway at the end of the day but with GREAT service!"
