"I took my 5 year old daughter here after school. We loved it. Its close to many schools in the Village. You can tell when school gets out. There's a nice front corner table with a fun view. We sat with the owner and talked for a while. He's very nice and I can tell he loves this place. We loved everything. Sweet and savory crepes. They have some creative crepes. Thier frozen yogurts are also great."
"I stumbled upon this new dessert spot on Garnet Ave after departing from another place where I ate dinner. This space used to be the home of a surf shop. Inside was a beautifully decorated seating area that felt more like a high-end French cafe. There was a candle in a holder on each roundtop table in addition to the checkered floor tiles, wall mirrors, and chandeliers. The two ladies behind the service counter greeted me warmly as I approached.Crepes, gelato, coffee, and tea were featured on the menu. In the back of the suite, you could peer through a window and watch crepes being freshly made on an iron griddle. The six savory crepes cost between $16.95 and $18.95 while the six sweet crepes were priced slightly less at either $14.95 or $15.95. The gelato pricing was complicated with three tiers based on three sets of flavors. Within each tier, you could select one scoop or two scoops. The second scoop could cost $1, $1.20, or $1.30 more depending on the flavor. One of the workers offered taste samples of the gelato. I tried a few of the nine available flavors before settling on two scoops of the Mango Sorbet in a cup versus a cone. The fruity flavor was strong for this sorbet. If I was not so full from dinner, then I might have elected a sweet crepe for dessert instead of gelato. I hope the owners can install some permanent signage on the marquee soon because a sidewalk sign was the only reason why I noticed the presence of Creperie Antoinette while passing by."

"Have you stopped here? Well let me tell you why you should! I have never been a crepe person, and I thought, hey, we are here. I might as well try it. The fact that they have a picture of the food is 5 out of 5 stars! I love that our food looks like the picture! So we had a food item choice in mind until we rounded the corner and saw a special for a Creme Brulee style crepe....immediately and without question changed our mind!!!What an amazing, delicious, and absolutely tasty dessert! Why did we not know about this place earlier. We were stuffed, and it is a lot of food for 1 person after eating dinner. The place is really clean and the worker was very sanitary and you can watch her make the crepes through the plastic screen or while waiting. The area is clean and smells of fresh fruit. Will definitely be back!!"
"Great food!!! Found this place by accident cruising thru town. Food is fresh and made to order and the coffee drinks were so good!!!We had the simply breakfast which had gluten feee bread so good!!!Madeleine omelet was amazing and the service was great. We will be back!!!"
"Great hidden spot for coffee, fantastic rich donuts and crepes! Very classy and artsy vibe and very peaceful the few times I have been. I was able to get some work done in between running errands but at the same time you don't feel like everyone goes there for 'work and coffee' which is what I like about coffee shops. I did not get the wine bar vibe, but maybe is due to the timing. I like that they have exterior seats and is super pleasant plaza and perfect for people watching too. I love the lavender donuts, all the pastries are delicious."
"I am very particular on my crapes because my grandmother was from Holland who used to make incredible crapes for breakfast and I am very partial to this incredible restaurant in Tijuana called Cafe Dela Flora, who makes the most incredible crapes as well. However I have to say this place was pretty darn good. I highly recommend if you want an incredible crepe that's local. I will be a returning customer no doubt!"
"Nutella lovers.....stop what you are doing and check this place out!!!!! We found their little setup at the temecula farmers market on a Saturday morning! We tried the banana, strawberry and nutella crepe!!! Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed this treat and I want more!! Staff was very friendly as well and service was quick. They have a variety of sweet crepes and savory crepes! Definitely check them out!!"
"Late night sweet tooth alert... Chocolate Bash has migrated south from LA/OC with a newly opened shop in PB. I saw the 'Open' sign tonight while I was driving on Garnet Ave so I turned back to check out the place. They have been in business for less than a week after spending over a year to get the suite ready. The daily hours of operation are from noon until at least midnight which is really aggressive to catch the night owls leaving the bars and restaurants on this drag. They are located next door to Wing Stop with about a dozen parking spots to share between the businesses. As I parked, a couple of workers were walking out with trays of samples to hand out to people passing by on the sidewalk. I tried one of the mini pancake pieces that was covered with Rice Krispies and chocolate sauce. I was going to walk in and buy some sweets anyway, but the sample had me hooked. There were several employees preparing items while a manager (owner?) staffed the register. He explained the ingredients in several items (e.g. Bash Burger, Crepuccini) and pointed out that much of their chocolate was sourced from Belgium and other parts of Europe. I was given a small cup of Belgian chocolate to taste and that took me back to my last trip to that country. The chocolate on that continent is vastly superior to the best purveyors here in the States. Now the question was what to purchase and take home with me to savor later. On the left menu screen was a roster of drinks... coffee, tea, shakes, mocha, lattes. The center screen contained the list of Bash specials and treats like cheesecake, cream puffs, crepes, ice cream cups, pancakes, fruits on a stick, etc. The right screen spelled out the three steps if you wanted to build your own pastry. While I was deliberating, a chocolate covered strawberry and a sample of the pistachio topping were given to me for taste testing. Man, so many choices and only one stomach. These were my two selections which each cost $13.99...* Bash Roll - Crepe rolled with a choice of two fruits (banana and strawberry were mine) with a half and half topping of Belgian milk chocolate and cookie butter.* Sushi Crepe - Sushi style crepe wrapped in Kinder chocolate topped with a white and dark chocolate drizzle. Digestive cookies and strawberries were provided as sides.I couldn't stop enjoying how intense and flavorful the Belgian chocolate tasted. The crepe dough was light and cooked fresh on a griddle by the kitchen staff. I had to look up the description of a digestive cookie. The answer was a semi-sweet biscuit with high fiber content that can aid with digestion. There were a few other items that caught my eye, but those will have to wait for a return visit. The service was polite and informative with a bonus of multiple taste samples and a 15% promotional grand opening discount. If there was one drawback, it's the shop location which is not highly visible from the street as you drive or walk by the address."

Our favorite neighborhood yogurt spot! I come here more often than I'd like to admit! I love the rotating yogurt flavors. I've tried the crepes, smoothies, shakes, and froyo of course. Everything is delish! Also love that they open until 10 pm. Perfect for after dinner!

We were walking somewhere else in PB for a quick bite and got tired of walking when we passed this spot. Figured a crepe and gelato might hit the spot - and it did!First- this place is adorable! The music was a vibe too. Service was friendly and as quick as it could be with only one person working the night I visited (they weren't crowded, don't worry.) It was delicious- I had a nibble of my friend's gelato which I enjoyed as well! Glad we changed up our plans and came here instead!

I hate to admit it, but I'm completely hooked to their strawberry Nutella cream crepe. I saw the girl prepare the whip cream before, and I believe they used cream cheese. It's no surprise that it tastes so delicious! Every weekend, I come here! I literally run inside Mitsuwa and get first in line to purchase. It takes a long time to receive your order, and they sometimes take breaks to prep. Waiting destroys me on the inside, but it's worth it. I just keep myself entertained by buying or spending all of my money on arcade games.

Came for breakfast and got the breakfast croissant, cafe Cubano, and strawberry almond muffin. The breakfast croissant came with eggs, bacon, Swiss cheese, arugula and tomato. The croissant was light and flakey, the bacon egg and cheese were delicious and the arugula added a nice peppery touch. My only complaint was that it was on the smaller side. It came with a side salad which would have been good for a lunch option, you can upgrade for breakfast potatoes for around $3 but instead I got the strawberry almond muffin. The strawberry almond muffin was excellent! Great flavor, was served warm and had a slight crisp exterior. A definite standout for me.I haven't see a cafe Cubano at coffee shops so I got it. Espresso, brown sugar, steamed milk and cinnamon. It was delicious, nice and smooth, just the right amount of sweetness, not overly sugary but not bitter.I liked the vibe here, very laid back like a French bistro, not a commercialized breakfast spot. You stand in line and order at the counter then take a table number placard and they bring it to you. There are a few parking spots out back but be sure that you're not parking in the spots reserved for bunny chow or the apartment complex, they are marked on the ground, otherwise theres street parking available. My cafe Cubano came with a Madeline so I think all the coffee drinks come with that little Madeline pastry, thus the name of the cafe, the coffee was smooth so id try a another coffee drink next time. I'd defiantly get the strawberry almond muffin again.Service was friendly and prompt, ambiance was cute and quaint, food was good. My only complaint is that the pastries in the case and coffee don't have prices. They are fair prices so it not like you're getting gouged but it would be nice to know.

Been here a couple times when I visit San Diego. This place is located in a quaint plaza in La Jolla. Walking in, it had such a warm, cozy ambiance. It would be an amazing spot to do work or read. They had a little counter with flyers and posters to support local artists, which I really loved. We ended up getting a matcha latte, affogato, and a vanilla latte. The drinks came out relatively fast and the staff was super friendly. Drinks were great, as usual!

Best crêpes in San Diego. I'm glad they came Saturday morning to Temecula, California farmers market. The crêpes were amazing me myself try out the California surfer, which was amazing my wife had. A custom one done super amazing can't wait till next Saturday
Visit Restaurant Page"After living close by for over a year now Hob Coffee has become my go to spot to work from and enjoy delicious food and drinks, I could literally spend all day there! I've cut down on my coffee drinking but occasionally I'll order one or go for an iced vanilla chai. I love trying out the food menu items. I've tried different toasts and plenty of sandwiches always on a croissant. I recently checked out their new breakfast burrito but I still think I prefer the sandwiches. Next up I want to try one of their salads. The service is super quick and easy and it is a great quiet spot to get some work done. Not to mention they play great music while you're there too. Parking can be iffy but I tend to walk over to not worry about that situation."
"While browsing the street vendor offerings just outside, the smell of delicious crepes drew us in...that and the sign for a bagel and cream cheese with a cup of drip coffee. Sign us up!Inside, I could not get enough of the beautiful cherry blossom tree décor. That small touch really changes the entire ambience of the place. And the lights that shine on them bring a whole new level to the look. I really like it!They serve fresh crepes as well as gelato. My wife's bagel had a very generous amount of cream cheese-she ended up scraping about a third of it off, which was a little wasteful but there is too much of a good thing, I'm told. Since we were here early in the day, we weren't up to trying gelato, but it all looked good-maybe on another day we'll stop by and try it out."
"A husband and wife duo have opened up a bakery in a suite that housed a short-lived salsa vendor at the Old Town Urban Market. Her Mexican heritage and his French heritage were how they came up with the clever business name. The fusion concept featured menu items such as sweet and savory crepes, French and Mexican pastries, and Mexican-flavored macarons. Signature coffee drinks and Mexican-inspired mimosas were part of the beverage offerings. At the time of my visit, the business was mainly a creperie with four savory types and five sweet varieties. The top one on the savory list caught my eye. It was the La Suiza which was made up of chicken, Mexican cheese, tomatillo sauce, and house made salsa verde. Chef Benjamin took my order and proceeded to form a fresh crepe on the griddle. A few minutes later, he stuffed the crepe with the aforementioned ingredients, rolled it up, and placed it in a cardboard cone to hand to me.The sauce and the green salsa stood out with their tartness that cut through the chicken and cheese. The savory crepes were roughly $1 to $2 than the sweet crepes, but they were still on par with the prices at creperies I have visited in other parts of San Diego. The chef's service was very pleasant, and I was satisfied enough to give a four star rating."
"Talk about a birthday cake! I recently had a friend come over with a box of treats from Figaro to celebrate my birthday. I have the biggest sweet tooth and loved every bite. And wow- I was absolutely blown away by the presentation! I really liked the little lemon and mango mousse cakes. The chocolate berry cake was practically INHALED."
"Stumbled upon this cute place for a first time visit while in the neighborhood. The strawberry banana Nutella crepe hit the spot! Service was very attentive and friendly. Thank you for taking my Apple Pay."
"Had the best quiche in San Diego. It's not dense where I struggle to finish a slice of quiche because not only that it's dense but its overly rich. Cafe Madeleine's quiche is very light - very eggy - so much so that I could eat another slice or two."
"I didn't realize Creme De La Crepe was a franchise until I clicked on their website. Hopefully, they can continue to succeed at this location which has seen numerous French and Italian eateries over the years. Parking in this part of Hillcrest was all curbside as there was no dedicated lot for this business. It was quiet when I came to their bistro setting as only one couple was dining during my visit.I started with the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake which was dressed with corn, cilantro, roasted peppers, arugula, and chipotle aioli. The cake was a little loose as there did not seem to be enough binder to hold the ingredients firmly together. The taste was perfectly fine though. I definitely wanted a savory crepe for my main dish so I got the Marine which consisted of scallops and shrimp in a white wine clam sauce. The pieces of scallop and shrimp were sizable, but I wish there were more than two of each. The crepe itself was large and made of buckwheat flour. At the time, there was a free Nutella crepe offered for checking in so that served as my dessert. The hazelnut spread was so delicious along with the generous powdered sugar on top. I think their sweet crepes and brunch offerings will remain the most popular items on the menu. This neighborhood is not short on breakfast destinations, but Creme De La Crepe is worth checking out for a morning meal."
"My friend and I were staying in downtown San Diego, heading back home and just wanting a simple diner breakfast that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. I searched the area on our route and that's how we landed here. Nothing fancy, we got a parking spot right in front. We sat on the patio. Yazmin was out server. She was very nice and attentive. We ordered a Coffee, Bacon Cheese Omelette with a side of Pancakes and an Egg and Bacon plate with a side of Hash Browns. The coffee kept flowing by Yazmin and then again it should at $4.55 a small cup. The food arrived hot. The omelette was not a traditional style but my friend said it tasted good along with the pancakes. My eggs were good but I will tell you the bacon was AMAZING! Hash browns could of used some flavor. Still all in all cheaper than eating breakfast in downtown San Diego. Did the trick!Atmosphere: old diner like. Service: good. Food: good."
"This is such a fun little place my family and I enjoy visiting when we are in town. We ordered the Amazing, Nutella, and Vegetarian crepes. There were only two girls working at the time but they were working hard and got us our food quickly. It was hot, fresh, and we ate every bite. There is not a lot of seating inside or outside so it may be best to take the food to go."
"3 blocks from the beach, and tasty ice cream! What a great delight! What more can the person want? Fabulous shop with ample outdoor seating, selling ice creams, crepes and shakes! Ice creams are good. They are made by someone else but the waffle cones are made by Scoops! Service is good although line can be a bit long. Flavors are changing but I found that person can find at least 3 flavors they will love!!"
"My family and I have walked past this location so many times when going to the market next-door. We finally went in and had such a great experience. There were two young ladies working that were very friendly and patient and explained all kinds of things to us about the menu. This place has a beautiful assortment of fresh gelato, delicious drinks, and then the specialty waffles and crepes. We each had a drink and waffle and loved it so much! I had the berry waffle and all of the fruit was super fresh. They make the sauce in house every day. Since it's actually fresh fruit, it's not that super sugary syrup stuff that you're used to, it was very light and delicious! My brother and sister really enjoyed their waffles but both want to try the berry one next time so I think it's a great one to start with if you don't know which one to choose! I ordered a mango green tea iced and it was absolutely delicious. They have Boba, but they do not have popping Boba. The waffles were roughly about $10 each, which might sound kind of expensive but when you receive the product it's such high-quality I think it's really worth it. it was very clean inside and they've got seating both inside and outside. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and really enjoyed it . We will definitely be back without a doubt."
"New ice cream, creperie and much more with a view. Very good ice cream, perfect location, great service offering all the samples you want. This is a great add to downtown La Jolla!"
