"We tried The Habit Burger Grill located inside Bonita Point Plaza on Otay Lakes Rd in Chula Vista, CA. We ordered the Double Char Burger with fries and it was very delicious. The burger patties tasted fresh with the right amount of seasoning. The French fries were nice and crispy. This restaurant location was very clean and the service was great. We look forward to going back to this location."
"This is a nice on-campus cafe located right next to the UCSD vaccine superstation. Because the demand is subsiding, the station will be disassembled at the end of this month. This also means that Ridgewalk Social will be temporarily closed until September when the students return for the fall semester. Most of their business from the past few months was coming from people who were lining up to be vaccinated.Salads, chicken wings, burgers, and wraps were the main food categories. I bought a Chicken Deluxe to-go which was a crispy spiced brined chicken breast with applewood bacon, pickles, tomato, lettuce, and a special sauce. I chose a house salad as a side instead of hand cut french fries. The sandwich was large and nicely assembled so the $11 price tag was well justified. No dressing was offered with the salad which I don't know was an oversight or not. It could have used a small cup of vinaigrette. One issue that stood out was the 30-minute preparation time for the sandwich. I came in the late afternoon so it was well after the peak hours of business. There were four orders placed ahead of me, and it appeared that those customers were waiting quite a while for their food too."

"There's a small restaurant in the Arts District of Solana Beach. It was previously named "Wild Notes," which closed for restoration and reopened as the Tavern. I an happy to say, it has the same owners, and more importantly, the same quality food and specialty cocktails. During my last two visits here, our server was WHITTNEY! She provides EXCELLENT service from the moment you walk in the door throughout your dining experience. The food, vibe, decor is well thought out and planned. Enjoy, steak, seafood, pasta, chicken or vegetarian meals. You will feel like a VIP!! It is IMPORTANT to mention, this restaurant is in the same building as the Belly Up Tavern and concert venue. The kitchen is toward the front and center and serves customers in the restaurant, patio, main concert floor and upstairs loft. On concert nights, it is extremely busy, seating is limited and reservations are a must (Open Table app). Customers receive PREFERENTIAL service so you can have your dinner AND gain EARLY access to the concert through a special door in the back. Show your dinner receipt to the security guard. If you don't eat in the restaurant, you must wait on the sidewalk for the doors to open at 7PM. What are you waiting for, adventures await you! Check the website, buy concert tickets, make dinner reservations and hit me up, I want to go back! You know the drill, don't forget to tell 'em Rosemary sent ya!"
"New lunch option in the area for those that work around Sorrento Valley area. Great daily specials including hot dishes, salads and grilled sandwich and burger options. this place does not get that crowded like Sorrento food court with the Qualcomm crowd which is a plus. I usually go the food truck route for convenience but this place is close to the office and actually cheaper than the food truck options in a lot of cases. I've been here twice last week since i was i was told about the place and I can see myself being a regular here. I haven't had the chance to try their Stumptown coffee but I'm sure I will. Check em out and let me know what you think."
"Dirty Birds is a delightful gem within San Diego, and thigs review is regarding their convenient location in UCSD's Price Center. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, boasting an open, airy ambiance that seamlessly connects the indoor dining area with the charming outdoor patio. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside, it's a first-come, first-served system where you place your order upfront and eagerly await your name to be called once your meal is prepared.I've savored every dish I've tried here, from their mouthwatering wings and hearty sandwiches to their flavorful pizzas and fresh salads. The portions are generous, and the flavors are simply outstanding. What truly sets Dirty Birds apart is their warm and efficient service, paired with a menu that offers great value for your money. It's no wonder I find myself drawn back here time and again, drawn by the relaxed environment and the added bonus of outdoor TVs perfect for catching a game while enjoying delicious food and drinks.Recently, I had the pleasure of having Dirty Birds cater a special event for my team, and it was a hit! The setup was perfect, and everyone raved about the delicious food--even the leftovers were fantastic. The staff member who assisted us that afternoon provided exceptional service with a friendly demeanor, making the experience even more memorable. Needless to say, I will definitely be returning to Dirty Birds in the future."
"These guys make a great burger! I had the double cheeseburger for $12.50, which came with two juicy American Wagyu smashed patties, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese pickles, a secret sauce, on a toasted soft butter glistened potato bun. I asked Sarah to see if they could possibly temp the beef at about medium, and even though it was a smash burger, they were very close and medium well. Either way, the American Wagyu patties were delicious and left that quality beef flavor that lingers on the palate. I liked that the patties had a good crispy exterior but remain juicy and tender on the inside, not to mention very flavorful. The burger's ingredients were all fresh and quite good. I went light on the sauce to better experience the flavors of the beef, and it worked. The house sauce was very good, too. I really liked the toasted potato bun. It worked really well on this burger. As I was eating the burger, I realized that beef patty was smaller than what I am used to, but the quality was outstanding, and I was okay with that.Oh yes! I also had an order of onion rings, and they were just grand. They were crispy, well seasoned, and actually had whole succulent onion rings inside. They were great for dipping in the house secret sauce. The service was provided by "sarah," who was very friendly and helpful. Great service! I can't wait to try some of their other offerings."
"Mr. Pete is one of the few genuine business owners out there in a sea of ever constant mediocrity. I first had his Detroit-style pizza at a brewery popup. I finally visited the Kearny Mesa location recently which occupies a former Taco Bell drive-thru and dine-in restaurant. They kept all the former bells and whistles to maintain that awesome element of 90's nostalgia. Motor City is his jam and so many Detroit sports team memorabilia festoons the space. I felt right at home having grown up watching the back-to-back champions, the Redwings, the -- in the words of my father -- "losing" Lions (they takin it all the way this year though!), "terrible" Tigers, and the Pistons (no name to bestow). You'll even spy Detroit-made "pop" called "Faygo" in the fridges. The owner's pride in his hometown is extremely evident! The menu features their Detroit-style pizza but other notable items include their Double Smash Burgers, Detroit Style Coney Dogs, and other Michigan classic comfort foods. You are able to order pizza as a whole pie (8x10 pies or 4-pan slices) or by the slice at $5-6.50ea. During out 1st visit, they weren't in the warmer next to the cash register and it was heated up somewhere in the back. This was the definite preferred method as the pizza slices came out gooey and with crisped up edges. When they are sitting in the warmer under the heat lamp, on the other hand, they are served right away and are definitely without that usual crunch. The smash burger was a surprise sleeper at just $7. Served on a toasted sesame bun, the patties had optimal sear and were not too greasy. Regardless of slight reservations, I have left with nothing but positive vibes. It does one good to support a business owner with what seems like rare passion towards his craft."
"I've had their Kenny B burger on two occasions, one being a late night Uber Eats order and when I went recently at the Barrio Food Hub. Highly suggest that you order from your food delivery app because the location was quite busy making other people's delivery orders, and will prioritize those first. You arrive and place your order on the touch screen, then will get a text to confirm your order and for pick up. You then use the given code to pick up your food from the locker.Besides the logistics, Bonehead Burger might be the best smash burger and is one of the best options to order from the Barrio Logan Food Hub. Compared to other smash burger joints I've had in SD, Bonehead Burger ranks pretty far on my list. I do feel like it needs extra toppings on it though as well which makes me give a 4 star rating."
"Brewery with their own kitchen?! Brunch on the weekends?! Non-beer options such as wine, cider, hard kombucha, and coffee?! This place has it all. One of my favorite spots to frequent when I want a meal with a drink. Their brunch goes until 2pm and that gravy is bomb. Favorite thing ordered so far has been the chicken and waffles.Cute vibes and lots of seating for indoor/outdoor. Dogs allowed and sometimes there can be a pup per table - no complaints here!Service is always great. Everyone is so nice and food comes out pretty fast. The only thing I realized that doesn't happen at this spot is they don't offer splashes for you to taste before you buy a full pour. A little sad since you can only purchase full pours (no tasters).Parking can be a hit or miss. At most, you'll circle for a few minutes."
"Along with an old school classic cafe/diner feel and ambiance, you get a friendly and warm atmosphere. Not to mention a generous portion of Americana.Serving breakfast and lunch, the menu is not overwhelming yet gives the patron a decent range of choices.I ordered bacon and eggs, hash browns, biscuit and a side of gravy. The eggs, fluffy and scrambled, offer a farm freshness while the hash browns crispy on the outside and cooked perfect on the inside. The bacon was crisp and cooked well and the biscuit airy and steaming hot. Pair all this with a cup of gravy and I call it a good breakfast that can hold me over till at least dinner. The service was fast and efficient, my meal arrived after order in less than 10 minutes, maybe more like 5. The restaurant is clean, including the restrooms, and tastefully decorated if you like retro. I am definitely coming back"
"Great delivery service and the burgers are such great quality! The burgers are massive and have a bang for your bite. I ordered the Dali and Da Vinci and both were delicious! The fries were salted perfectly and really enjoyed the chocoroll they offered!"

Swung by for lunch after class on a Monday and there were only a couple people in line at the register including us. It is a bit out of the way as Ridgewalk Social is all they way out by RIMAC, but after trying it, I will 100% be back as this has to be the best place to eat on campus by far. The prices are super fair and the quality of the food is ridiculous. There is indoor and plenty of outdoor seating as well and the wait for food was about only about 10 minutes. The Social (4.5/5): Super high quality burger with the addition of crunchy, fatty bacon and a sunny side up egg is perfection. The runny yolk adds a beautiful creaminess to every bite. The Chicken Deluxe (4/5): The fried chicken has clearly been flattened to get an even cook and it definitely paid off in moist, crunchy bites. If they sold bottles of the sauce, I would definitely drink it straight up. Veggies are super fresh and help curb the guilt of more bacon. The fries and side salad (4.25/5): The quality of the sides are through the roof. The side salad absolutely blew my expectations considering it was complementary and you can never go wrong with well-seasoned, golden fries.

Great small local spot for basic grocery needs. We came here for breakfast which totally hit the spot. Got the Denver omelette which came with breakfast potatoes. Exactly what you would expect - tasty and filling. The people who work there were super friendly too. I'll definitely come back if ever in the area.

My wife and I tried Tavern a while back during a birthday day trip down to Solana Beach. After looking at the menu and loving the music themage inside, I was hooked and knew that this was the place I wanted to try. The place was not at all busy as we were the first guests inside, and we decided to sit outside on the patio as it was a nice day out. We were quickly seated and given our menus and a few minutes to look them over. We both ordered iced teas to drink, and I opted to go with the butternut squash tacos for my meal as this has become a favorite of mine (butternut squash) when on the menu. These came accompanied by Spanish rice as well. Despite being the only people inside for the time being, the food took an extraordinarily long time to come out to us. It felt like we had waited an eternity for the food. When the food did arrive, the presentation was nice, and everything looked fresh and vibrant, but everything was just OK. The butternut squash was a bit bland and not seasoned much, and despite the salsa and rice, everything was just a little too plain for my tastes. After waiting that long and then not liking the quality, it was hard to decide what to rate our visit. Despite the shortcomings of our visit, the place had a cool vibe to it, the server we had was friendly enough but for the price and quality I don't know that I would come back, although I do believe in giving places second chances so we will see. Overall, this was a very so so experience but not bad by any means.

It's probably amazing for student that don't have a car to have a decent fried chicken spot on campus. But, for the rest of us, it's just a decent fried chicken spot. It was good, but I think there's better options around.

Came here and got a slice of Nashville Hot Chicken Detroit style pizza and a double smash burger. The Nashville hot slice wasn't (spicy) hot at all, the edges were crispy with crusty with cheese as you'd expect from a Detroit style pizza. The slices were kept under a heat lamp and then reheated which is fine, like any pizza by the slice, but I've had better Detroit style pizza. I think the way to go is to get a whole Detroit pizza so its made fresh. The Double smash burger was ok. I'd say it was a cross between In N out and The Friendly's Dirty Flat Top. It was a very meaty burger like the Dirty Flat Top with the caramelized onions (no lettuce or tomato), but it had thousand island dressing like In N out. It was much bigger than both burgers but lacked something from each.Service was friendly, they brought the food to my table when it was ready. There were some video games in the corner, other reviews say they are free but I can't confirm that. If I knew they were free, id have played a few games. Sounds fun. I guess if you have kids this could be a win win. Free entertainment while you wait for your pizza. They have both thick pan type pizza (Detroit Style) and thin crust (Roman Style) pizza as well as some other Detroit favorites like Coney Island Dogs, Smash Burgers, chicken wings and Faygo Pop, a Detroit based Soda. They have lots of parking just turn when you see Indian Motorcycles.

One of my students just likes fries, so this place had some good choices. It's a cool space with indoor and outdoor seating.I ordered the bbq bacon burger which was very good! I should've asked for it med well. It was a little too rare for medium. We also ordered plain fries and truffle parmesean fries. I thought the portion of the fries was small in relation to price, but that seems to be the norm right now. This was the first time my students had craft sodas. She: I just wanted a Dr.PepperHe: I almost said SpriteBut they have a delicious Black Cherry soda! The staff was really friendly and there was good AC! Definitely worth checking out!"
"This spot doesn't get a enough credit. Their breakfast and lunch items are all delicious especially their soups. The employees are kind, professional and helpful when you have questions in regards to the menu and recommendations. The food comes out quickly and is handles with care. Definitely recommend this spot!"
"Biggie's Burgers has a large dining room with a great view of Mission Blvd near the waterfront. The menu was simple, and I thought the burgers were reasonably priced. I selected a King Burger deal which I customized as a 1/2 lb patty (minus the mayo and onions), steak cut fries, and a lemonade. Ordering a burger, fries, and drink together saved about $1.50. This wasn't the case when the business first migrated down from San Clemente and opened this PB location. The burger was normal in size, and the medium cooked patty was rather dry. The real disappointment was the bun. It was crumbling apart as I was finishing the burger. The amount of steak fries was maybe a dozen pieces. The food quality was middle of the road average. The main draw of this burger joint to me is its prime spot along the main drag that is parallel to the beach."
"Stopped by here for happy hour as they give 51% off drinks and they're not weak drinks either. Really good deal! My friend and I also decided to try their Beijing Style Wings and Ahi Nachos. The wings were weird and all you could taste out of the 5 spices was cinnamon, which fell apart like a churro when you bit into it. It was a very strange texture and flavor. The ahi nachos, on the other hand, were delicious and beautifully presented! It could've used more ahi tuna for all the wonton chips that were provided, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The edamame puree at the bottom of the plate was a delicious addition that I had never seen before. This is something I would never get tired of no matter how many times I eat it. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun as well. I loved that they had hockey on the tv without me having to ask. Honest, I would be more than happy to come back here and try some of their other foods."
"loaded fries, Thai style hamburgers, Its in the corner of the shopping mall. this is a physical location from the food truck. We all know and love. After 4 PM, deliver on base with a five dollar delivery fee. They do not have restrooms so keep that in mind."
"Hey folks, don't sleep on this food truck! You are missing out. To all the haters that didn't like this place before, you need to go back and check it out. Denzel, the new owner, not only touts incredible burgers and chicken sandwiches, but is an exceptional human being. We visit his truck just to chat with him because he's such a cool ass dude. Every time Denzel and his truck are in the hood, we walk over for a meal. I've tried multiple things on the menu... at least three of the burgers and one chicken sandwich: The Bishop. It'll make you want to go to church. The fries are tasty with his special seasoning, and something i'm not sure people know is that the buns he uses for his sandwiches and burgers are all gluten-free. He gets them from a local bakery and they are better than most. Definitely one of the better buns I've ever had. Seriously. I'm from Chicago, so I know great food and this is where it's at!"
"This place is amazing! I'm so glad Juicy Burgers is finally in San Diego. It puts all other burger joints to shame. It's actually more than a burger place... You can build your own burger with everything from garlic mayonnaise to Sriracha ketchup and everything in between. They have grilled pineapple, jalapeños, spicy Jack cheese, grilled mushrooms, avocado etc. to build your own high-rise burger. This place is for the hungry! It's a very family friendly environment so bring the kids too. Plenty of free parking around the restaurant. I'm posting a few pics of the menu so you can see firsthand how many fun options there are. You could literally come here every day for a year and never eat the same burger haha Definitely don't miss the fried pickles. You'll be hooked. And definitely save room for desert. Cookies, brownies, ice cream and cheesecake!Great place!!"
"The suite at Liberty Public Market that used to house Stuffed! is now the brick and mortar location of the American Flavors food truck. They have a similar but slightly smaller menu than what the truck offers. Burgers, hot dogs, and hot sandwiches (chicken, pulled pork) were the featured items. All of the hamburgers are served with two all-natural Angus beef patties and two slices of cheese so you are getting a lot of meat and paying a commensurate price. I picked the Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of seasoned waffle fries ($12). The smoked pulled pork came with a couple of pieces of bacon topped with a BBQ sauce, pickles, and a house-made slaw. The sauce was more sweet than tangy, but it complemented the moist pork very well. The waffle fries were addictive as I could have eaten a large basket of them. For quality and value, I gave this experience a 3.5 star rating."
"For those not local, parking is limited. You'll have to find street parking. In this visit we tried the party melt, kids nuggets, and kids sliders. The sliders were good and freshly made. Although the bun was also good it was a bit big for the burger patty. A slice of pickle would be nice to have also. The nuggets were lightly battered and meaty. Now the patty melt could use a little work. Overall, it was completely dry, minus the 1000 island dressing. The meat was definitely overcooked, and I think it would be much better with American cheese versus the Swiss, which hardly melts. French fries, unfortunately were not fresh. They were warm as if they were put up under a light but not freshly made which was disappointing. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. The music/TVs were up pretty loud. Will definitely give it another try for other menu items."
"We were here for a friend's birthday, so we were upstairs in the party room (which I think you need to pay to reserve). We figured we would be buying our dinner here, so we came hungry. I tried a couple slices of the Detroit style pizza, the all-meat one. It was very good, with that very crispy edge to the crust and plenty of sauce on top.My friend had a burger with Jojo potatoes, and I sampled her potatoes. I really like the bigger fries with the baked potato texture inside, but I think she prefers thin & crunchy.I was also very happy to see that they carry Faygo soda, which is a Detroit brand! It's hard to find in our area, and I got the last pineapple watermelon one, score!I can imagine that this is a fun place to come and hangout, and maybe play some pool. The food is a great addition. Parking is a little difficult, on the street and nearby neighborhood. But you might be able to park across the street at Liberty."
"Good breakfast place for the family. Entire party must be present to be seated. Wide variety of options on the menu for breakfast & lunch and they have a kids menu. The artichoke & chicken sausage omelette was a decent sized portion. I bit into something hard and woody and it turned out to be a vegetable stem of some sort that was inedible. The vegetable & egg burrito was a decent size too and had fresh veggies in it. Both entrees were bland and lacked flavor & salt so thankfully the orders came with a side of salsa that we used to give some flavor. Each table has Tabasco sauce too. Entrees come with side options which we choose cut up fruit. The fruit was alright but some pieces we could tell had been cut up a while ago and were discolored. Table service was ok. Self serve at the coffee bar and for tea. Unlimited coffee & tea. Best thing was the selection of coffees and milks for coffee. Prices were reasonable. They have a small parking lot but there is ample street parking. Indoor and outdoor dining available."
"By far the best smoothies!!! Not your usual watered down smoothie, they are silky and thick.Smells and looks very clean, service is always great."
"I'm a fan! I was tasked with finding a place for Happy Hour for work. I looked around on Yelp for a decent Happy Hour menu and ended up calling Green Acre Campus Pointe. They were able to accommodate a group of 14 of us with a reservation.According to their website, Green Acre Campus Pointe is managed by Dan Valerino and Joe Bower of Bottle Boon Consulting. The philosophy of Bottle Boon Consulting is to bring an adaptive model to restaurant management of constant innovation and creativity. At the time in mid-April 2022, Green Acre Campus Pointe was also open for Happy Hour on Thursdays and Fridays from 3PM to 6PM. Their normal hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 2PM.I got to try a whole bunch of items:- Cocktail (Grapefruit Commuter Car) - brandy, rum, cointreau, grapefruit, lemon, serrano simple syrup, and candied grapefruit - Patatas Bravas - fingerling potatoes, crispy garlic, calabrian chile aioli, garden herbs- Crispy Ham & Cheese Croquettes - cured ham, mozzarella cheese, tomato aioli- Nashville Chicken Nuggets - mixed pickles, kimchi aioli- House Fries - kennebec- Buffalo Chicken Pizza - hot sauce, mozzarella, bleu cheese, green onion, herb ranchMy faves? The Grapefruit Commuter Car Cocktail, Buffalo Chicken Pizza, and the House Fries! DEFINITELY MUST GET.Special thanks to our waiter who was really patient with the whole group of us. Definitely enjoyed my experience!Tip: Green Acre Campus Pointe is kind of hidden. If you follow Google Maps, it'll bring you to the parking lot. - (Option 1) If you go left, you should go to the back end of the parking lot to the handicapped parking. Once you go in past the doors, there is a security guard on your right. Just keep going straight to the back of the building to get to Green Acre.- (Option 2) If you go right, it'll bring you to the Green Acre Campus Pointe Garden. You'll have to walk past that to get to the restaurant."
"From the many times that you may have gone to the many great barbecues and the beach side places where you had some of the best barbecued burgers and the great tasting chicken you had with the best tasting barbecue sauce. When you go to the many places that has best in great cooking and the best in great starter and the many great sauces and the many great salads. The many restaurants that have some of the best and the many that have the great pizza there is one place that makes the best food and so many flavors that make you come back for more. With the evening that I had looked at one place that said grass feed burgers and the many mixed dishes of Greek and mixed fries and some of the best burgers that have graced the evening. From my nights visit to the Gaslamp this evening that I wanted to try something that was new, and something has so many flavors can be the best in the menu. Yes, the many Gaslamp restaurants have some of the best food this one was the place which had the many flavors of barbecue and the many great flavors onions and garlic. This evening visit was the one that gave the new meaning for one great dinner having the best onion is when you order a great bourbon barbecue burger that has two onion rings just like the rodeo burgers from Burger King. I had looked at the restaurant many times in the Gaslamp it had a small menu when I had walked inside, I had seen the many pictures of the dishes and the many salads they make. I had ordered the Bourbon Barbecue burger with extra onion rings to have it cooked well done I had spent less than 24.90 and two cans of soda. the feel of the inside of the restaurant you have so many flavors the feel of being in Boston and the old feel of the Italian and the Greek restaurant dishes. I took a seat and looked over the restaurant at the many pictures that were done by the manager that he had asked me how my burger was. The many flavors that I could smell, and the presentation of the Burger was the best the presentation and the overall look was the best and the one that has taken the TEN. The many people that I had saw in the Gaslamp that were dinning in the many other restaurants while I was their customers came in after 530pm and the restaurant was picking up and the many dishes were being created. The customer service is one of the best and the great food combined with the great welcoming and the many deserts they have are the best in so many of the cheesecakes and a few Italian deserts that go great with the food they serve and make. The feel of the restaurant is such a fabulous place with the great food and with the great customer service you can get the delicious burgers cooked and made the way you want. Having a great time and some of the best burgers that were made with some great Ingredients the hamburgers that are all grass fed the many great flavors and the sauce they use are some of the bests in San Diego. As a Yelp Reviewer the many places that you see and the many new dishes that are going to be added the one that has such great flavor and the many flavors and the many tastes of onions and mushrooms and onions and the flavors of Italian bacon. With the many great sauces, you may find from the garlic aioli the strong yet smooth taste making one great tasting burger that is soon to come to the menu. With the many great flavors of the Gaslamp the food and the many courses the sky is the limit."
"Was in the area and craving for hamburgers. Searched for it and this place came up. I was expecting a sit down but it was a drive thru. One of the reviews won me over by saying it was the best burgers like how it was in the 90s. We gave it a try.Absolutely loved it. I got #6 double bacon combo ($11.95)It came with two thin pattie's, tomato, lettuce, onion, bacon, cheese, in house sauce and a sesame bun. So good! The fries remind me of McDonald and I love the shoe string fries lightly salted.I'm a sucker for corn dogs especially Wienerschnitzel and I saw 3 for $4.95. Had to try it and I'm liking it more than other places. Taste just the same with the batter and the hot dog was a size bigger! Oh and you must try the banana shake. Delicious. You taste actual chunks of banana. It was fresh, creamy and satisfied the sweet teeth. They sell croissants, Kebob sandwiches, cheese dog, pitas, and unique items like peanut butter bacon cheeseburger! There's an area for outdoor seating under the patio."
"The Shed Kitchen is the latest vendor to function as the food service arm for Sidecar Bar on Morena Blvd. It occupies a small shack adjacent to Sidecar's main structure. I recall seeing a taco business that once operated from this space before it moved into a brick-and-mortar setup elsewhere in town. A few picnic tables were arranged in front of the shack if you wanted to dine al fresco on-site.On Tuesday to Thursday, The Shed does not open until 3 pm while on Friday to Sunday, lunch service begins at noon. For lunch (which runs until 6 pm), there was one burger combo, one fried chicken sandwich combo, and rolled tacos available as specials. The full menu offered two burgers, two tri-tip sandwiches, a chicken sandwich, tenders, wings, and mac 'n cheese with buffalo chicken on one page. The other page featured quesadillas, tacos, and fries. The Shed Cheesesteak was what I originally wanted to order, however it was unavailable/sold out. My backup choice was Just The Tip. Slices of medium rare tri-tip were placed inside a brioche bun topped with frizzled onion and chimichurri. Perhaps it was because of the stack of fried onions, but I felt the sandwich was dry even with the chimichurri sauce added. For $17.70, there was no side included which was unlike at least one local BBQ joint. They have a similar price for a tri-tip sandwich with a choice of one side."
"Walked in to Eastbound on a Saturday morning and the first thing that I noticed was the fabulous remodel. New booths, the four-tops are now on the westbound side of Eastbound. Not only does it create more floorspace and better flow, It keeps the place from getting stale. It keeps it fresh and new. Well done.I took up residence at the bar. I was immediately greeted by Sierra who handed a menu to me and took my drink order. They didn't have Salty Crew so Sierra was quick to offer me a Ballast Point Speedboat. Perfect replacement! I finished my beer and by that time Ashley had joined Sierra behind the bar. Ashley was quick to offer a second round.(Both are very easy on the eyes, by the way)A few sips in was when my wife Becky (also easy on the eyes!) joined me. Without missing a beat, Sierra was in front of Becky taking her drink order. We also placed a food order.Lakesilders to share and a small pozole for me.The Laksliders are easily shareable. Four mini burgers with American cheese, grilled onion and chipotle sauce on sweet Hawaiian rolls, served with fries. These little burgers were delicious. Four per order is unprecedented in the world of sliders. We loved the addition of grilled onions.I'm a big fan of the Eastbound Pozole. A traditional Mexican soup of slow roasted pork and hominy, corn or flour tortillas and sour cream, diced onion and cilantro. (You can add a fried egg for $1.95) It can be found on the weekend brunch menu for $11.95 for a gigantic bowl of it. A smaller portion can be ordered for $5.95, which is the perfect portion size for me. I asked for corn tortillas and was given three. Good quality tortillas. Excellent friendly service from Sierra and Ashley at the bar! Excellent food from the kitchen!"

"If we can grab lunch and a few drinks and get out under $100, then we're happy. We did just that at Junction Bar and Grill in Rancho San Diego.Really cool spot to see your favorite sporting event on TV. They have TVs mounted everywhere. We were there with two other couples for beer, bread and baseball, except none of us actually got bread (okay pita bread). We grabbed a tall table against the wall that had great sightlines to the Padres game. We were promptly greeted by a very sweet and cute Ashlyn, our server. Let me tell you, Ashlyn was on point for our entire stay. Excellent service.Between the six of us we ordered potato skins ($11), pork pot stickers ($7), hummus plate ($9), carne asada taco in a lettuce wrap ($4.75). The pot stickers and hummus were from the every-day, all-day Happy Hour menu. The potato skins were very good. Cheddar and jack cheeses, bacon and chives served with sour cream and ranch dressing. We asked for Cholula as well. Becky prefers a bit less potato in her skins, I thought that they had just the right amount. I prefer them a bit potato-y. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the pot stickers were excellent. Little puffs filled with pork served with a really good sesame-based dipping sauce. For 7 bucks? A bargain.I did not sample the hummus, but our friends really liked it. The pita was not crispy as some places serve it and that was a bonus. The plate included a pile of Kalamata olives and chunks of Feta cheese. Our friend who had the carne asada taco loved it. She didn't want a tortilla, so Ashlyn highly recommended the lettuce wrap. She said that she orders it that way so our friend followed suit and loved it. She was still talking about the next day.Three couples all with meals and plenty of drinks. All three were out of there under a hundo.Junction is a cool spot. We'll be back."
"Hayes Burger's makes a nice cheeseburger. They use Angus 100% ground chuck, so the flavor and juiciness of their burgers are there. I had the cheeseburger with all the fixing except only mustard for my sauce. I also added pickles to my burger. The burger comes with a toasted brioche bun. The burger tasted very good, especially the beef. I liked the freshness of the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The brioche bun was perfect.I only wish the three oz patty was a four oz patty. A little larger beef patty on this burger would be just grand, especially since it costs $11 and some change. The service was very friendly and welcoming. They offer a few tables inside and outside."
"I was here for a Meetup group happy hour social event. The restaurant is in a pretty remote location. I almost thought the navigation was leading me to a fictional place. The driving offered picturesque views along the way so I didn't mind. The manager curated a distinct happy hour menu exclusively for our group. I think that was a nice touch. I order motherland pizza, it was absolutely delectable. I heard rave reviews within the meetup group about both the veggie pizza and the chicken wings--they're supposedly delicious! So why the three star instead of five? I got sick after eating the pizza. Just like the previous reviewer stated. I didn't know what happened."
"Daisy was a great server. The whole place has a fun vibe to it! We loved the Oreo milkshake and the fried pickles!"
"VEGAN REVIEW wowza! Being from the Bay, we are totally spoiled by having The Butcher's Son-- we are usually disappointed in other vegan delis, but this place is legit!#1. MATZO BALL SOUP. OMG. SO GOOD! #2. Matzo ball soup! It's so good, it deserves to take both top spots #3. Tuna melt. The bread!!!!! And yes the tuna salad itself was awesome. Hubby also loved his Reuben. Definitely affordable- I recommend the meal combo. AND YOU CAN GET MATZO BALL SOUP AS YOUR SIIIIIIIIIDE!!!!We sat outside. Unfortunately this is right next to a crisis pregnancy center- ugh- so I just had to turn my back to it Parking was easy.Service was good. Note that you should wait inside for your stuff. They don't call your name when your food is ready. Will return whenever I'm in SD"
