"We were staying at the Holiday Inn Bayside. The on-site restaurant/bar is Bayside Bar. We decided to stop in for an after dinner night-cap prior to heading back to our room.First off, Bayside needs to embrace the hard seltzers. They are all the rage right now and Becky is on that bandwagon. She would have really enjoyed an Ashland on tap or even a can of White Claw or Truly. She settled for a light beer. Minus one star. Outside of the lack of seltzers we really enjoyed Bayside Bar. There was plenty of seating indoors and the outdoor patio seating was fantastic. We were with another couple and we found a great table with a firepit. It was perfect for a chilly night. The bartender and staff were friendly and engaging. The prices for a hotel bar were not too horrible. If we stay at the Holiday Inn Bayside again, we'd return to the Bayside Bar for sure."
"Karina's Mexican Seafood in Otay Ranch Town Center, is a restaurant serving seafood specialties, steaks, tacos, ceviches and more along with handcrafted cocktails, margaritas and beers with a 3-6pm happy hour everyday at the bar.AMBIANCE5/5 Contemporary and spacious indoor and outdoor dining, private event spaces, full bar and cocktail lounge, and lively music.SERVICE4/5 A bit slow at first for staff to come to attention as I sat at the bar. Service really picked up once staff took my order and I appreciated their recommendations. DRINK5/5 Tamarind Martini:a sweet and tangy twist on the classic martini, with a tamarind candy paste rimFOOD5/5 Ribeye Steak Taquitos:I thought these would be deep-fried rolled tacos. These were smaller-size, soft flour tacos with tender, sliced ribeye steak, guacamole, onion, and cilantro.3/5 Seared Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna:The chili soy sauce was very enjoyable however the sesame crusted Ahi Tuna was not seared, and the spinach bed partially slimed.P.S. I'd try the grilled prawns here/at their other locations next time if I'm not in a rush."

Our server was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The beer was cold and the food was great. We started with the trio of dips, which was wonderful. I got the soup and salad combo. The soup was AMAZING. Hubby got the grilled shrimp and broccoli, which he devoured in minutes. I'll try the tacos next time since I saw another table get them and they looked delish. Overall, we will definitely be back!! The prices were actually very reasonable and all the food was fresh. It's nice having a local sports bar option that has healthier menu items."
"We came here on a Wednesday around 5:30 pm and it was pretty dead (Padres game had started at 5:30). I loved the homey casual vibe and that it has large doors open so it is well ventilated. I loved their Mango michelada and the food was surprisingly delicious! I had the pretzel bites which were pillowy soft (and baby approved) and the brisket sandwich on a toasted baguette. The meat was tender and flavorful with the Chimichurri sauce and pickled onions. My baby loved the mac and cheese! When it was just us, they forgot the pretzel bites so we had to go remind them. Otherwise, service was friendly and attentive."
"What a beautiful place! I shared a photo of where we were seated and I felt like it was the best seat in the house! There's really no bad seat in this restaurant, the whole place is well thought out. I absolutely loved being able to have good food while sitting waterfront. The food was good! The Lobster tacos were tender and well cooked, tasted fresh. Truffle fries? Yes, please. I felt there was too much oil on the green beans and carrots for my liking HOWEVER the vegetables had a nice crunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would love to come back!"
"Awesome poolside cocktails.... strawberry Fields Forever! That cocktail menu is better than anything inside the Loews Resort. And the guacamole with salsa and perfect chips were incredible. Great burgers and street tacos, nachos and loaded carnitas fries.... oh yum. Love the great service and the poolside buzzers. Coming back again tomorrow for a repeat!"
"This place is your classic neighborhood bar and grill with a retro atmosphere for all them motor head junkies. STP is a maker of automotive parts and tires, the aforementioned theme of the decor, but it primarily stands for "Shannon and Tina's Place", the owners of the establishment. Clever! The S.O. and I like to come here every now and then to sit at the bar and chat with the workers behind the counter. They have a small draft menu but it is well curated and full of variety. The workers are always full of energy and in good spirits which are all the indicators of a great business. For some reason, I am obsessed with their Sweet Corn Nugs which I relish alongside their massive burgers served with 1/2lb patty and CHOICE ingredients. I often am attracted to the constantly rotating choices on their Specials menu. In addition, they serve your classic American BBQ which is none too bad and are served in massive portions. They have the theme down pat and overall vibes are tremendously cheerful and genuine. They attract a mixed crowd, maybe leaning towards older patrons, the theme mighty attractive to them and likely bringing back fond memories from their youth. In addition to indoor seating, they have an outdoor patio which is very dog friendly."
"Definitely a sold 4 stars. Food is delicious although super pricey. Service is a hit or miss depending on the server you get. Came here twice over a course of a year and we did enjoy the food. They do have happy hour M-F in the afternoon but the food menu is very limited to only flatbread. The dinner menu is pretty extensive but also very expensive. We ordered a burger and the meatloaf, both were very delicious. Cooked well, tender and not too dry. For the burger, I really loved the sweet tater tots, I could eat a whole basket of that! Dessert was incredible! Service was attentive the first time we went but the second time was super spotty with a different server. Parking is easy and the bathroom are clean."
"This restaurant is beautiful! We had a large group here and shared everything. I got a yummy mocktail with a taijin rim. A complimentary broth was brought out for us, which was a nice start. We shared the white fish tiradito, ceviche, Simon's shrimp, fresh oysters, salmon habanero-lime style, octopus, rockefeller oysters, rock spicy shrimp, petroleros shrimp, and a couple of other dishes. A few of the dishes had too much sauce or mayo to my liking, masking the flavor of the fish. The seafood was fresh and flavorful! We didn't initially order much, but were still hungry, so we ended up trying almost everything on the menu! I'm not sure if they added more items since my visit in May.For dessert, we got the flan and blintzers! Both desserts were great and not too sweet. Service was very attentive. I had a great time and would love to come back and try other menu items!"
"The Kensington neighborhood has this new Italian restaurant after its Michelin Bib Gourmand predecessor closed last summer. Trattoria da Sofia debuted a couple of weeks ago in the vacated space. The interior was neatly decorated, including a Roman statue fountain near the foyer, while an outside front patio nearly doubled the seating capacity. We made an OpenTable reservation and sat at a two-top table in the main dining area. The two-page menu featured antipasti, soups, and salads on the left side while the right side listed the pastas, entrees, and sides. A complimentary basket of focaccia bread with pomodoro sauce was provided while we decided what to order. From the entrees, we split the Spiedini Siciliana as a starter. This dish was made up of stuffed beef rolled with mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, pomodoro sauce, and pine nuts served with rosemary roasted potatoes. It turned out to be better than the individual pasta that I ordered because the meat was well-seasoned and grilled perfectly. My friend chose the Sugo Pittinicchi which was tagliatelle noodles with pork ribs and sausage slowly cooked in pomodoro sauce. I selected the Allo Scoglio which consisted of fettuccine noodles with clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari finished in pomodoro sauce. This was the kitchen's version of Seafood Fra Diavolo as the sauce had a considerable degree of spiciness. Because of the seafood ingredients, it was the priciest of the pasta dishes on the menu. One aspect of our dinner that bothered me was the seating configuration. When we first sat down, the surrounding tables were empty. By the time we received our food, the hostess seated other groups next to us which made the area congested. Our table was already small, and I was worried that anyone who walked by would potentially bump it and knock over some plates. There were plenty of open spots across the dining room so the staff could have easily spread out the parties. For the food quality, service, and prices, I gave a 3.5 star rating for our Trattoria da Sofia experience."
"Overpriced but the food and drinks are good enough. Friendly service from the staff. You can order at the bar and they'll bring it out to you by the pool. We came during July 4th and there were some fun entertainment."
"We used to live close to this place and went quite a bit, so when my wife was having her hair done close to Crust all I could think of was that pie there are very few places down in this north county area, where the pizza is exactly how I like it.Thin crust, great ingredients, all fresh, and a variety of how those ingredients are put on the pie. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms or red onions and Scott the manager gets that. So you walk out with exactly the pie and the flavor profile that you want that for me makes a great pizza and a great experience. That's the takeout part. If you're gonna to eat at crust get ready cause it's a party, there's something going on every night and it's really fun. So great pizza great drinks and great fun. That is a win."

Ambiance: 10/10Service: 5/10Food: 6/10There's nothing special about this restaurant besides the look. It's beautiful! But that's as far as it goes. It was my first time here, and I probably won't be back. Our waitress didn't seem like she loved her job at all. Maybe the girl was having a bad day/shift. The food was expensive and not the best. Lacked flavor and authenticity.

Stumbled upon this place after the Padres game, so decided to grab a quick pint. A very interesting place to say the least. The beer list had a lot of variety (we tried the Seal Cove) and there is a pool table with lots of sofas in that room and a single golf themed arcade game near the bar. The bar area and music being blasted reminded me of a new wave, techno club. Not sure what type of crowd they are trying to attract, but it was pretty dead after the game. Getting nipped by a little yapper dog that was jumping up on people as they ordered beers and a sign trying to entice positive Yelp ratings by offering a discount on your tab (if you showed them your rating) really turned me off. One beer (which wasn't that bad) and we headed out.

What an amazing location! The views and the outdoor seating alone are enough to draw you inside. The service was fantastic. Max did a great job of taking care of us. The Happy Hour and Taco Tuesday menus gave some great small plate options. I tried the swordfish taco and the single slider. The taco was bursting with flavor and the swordfish was cooked well. The burger was juicy and seasoned nicely. The bun was fresh and soft. I would happily come back here next time.Great views, great service, great food!

For on property hotel food this isn't a bad option. Food and drink are priced reasonably considering its poolside service. The food isn't awesome, but it isn't bad... Just don't expect anything amazing, other than the service. The staff are very helpful and quick to offer menu and drink suggestions.

If you're cruising around and your hunger gauge hits "E," STP Bar N Grill is the pit stop you need! Ordered the HATCHBACK, and let me tell you, this baby is a turbocharged taste explosion. Imagine a 1/2 lb. Angus burger, already a beast on its own, but then rev it up with roasted New Mexico hatch chiles. I went the extra mile and got an extra patty and extra hatch chiles--because go big or go home, right? The tater tots were the perfect sidekick, crispy and golden, bringing back all the nostalgic feels of school lunch but way, way better. To top it all off, I washed down this culinary joyride with a Hazy IPA. It was the perfect balance to the spicy kick of the hatch chiles, smooth and refreshing. STP Bar N Grill gets my full endorsement. The vibe is chill, the staff is friendly, and the food? Absolutely clutch. Whether you're a burger enthusiast or just looking for a great spot to hang out, this place shifts your dining experience into high gear.Rev your engines and head over to STP Bar N Grill--you won't regret it!

Upon checking into this hotel this bar is located immediately to the right near the entrance. The inside has a nice ambiance and cute decor. The bar has open entry overlooking the outdoor patio with a nice view of the inside center of the hotel, pool, and a view of the ocean. This place was not that busy the Saturday early evening I came by as it is probably mainly just hotel guests here. I had a margarita which was made well and refreshing to enjoy outside. The bartenders offer good service. Overall, this bar/restaurant is a good option for hanging out and catching the sunset with some bites and drinks."
"A little difficult to find, reviews said the best breakfast burritos were made here. After parking twice and walking a block or so, we found Casa de Maria and ordered a couple of chorizo con huevo burritos to go. They send along a few chips and salsa. A little on the pricey side, we were glad the burritos were very tasty. The burritos were large so there was enough to save for a second meal, great rewarmed. The salsa was really good. Easy, free parking just outside the square."
"Nice casual place to catch a quick bite for dinner, or spend time with a large group with friends and family. Seatings outside are available. You order and pay your meals at the cashier and they hand you a number to place on your table. The staff will deliver your meals when ready. Purchased of non alcoholic drinks are free refill. There's a full bar and offer happy hour from 4-7pm I believe, but do check their hours as this may change. Good prices, good food and I recommend getting their full plate dinner if you are hungry. Overall, nice place to chill and good portions. Service was excellent. Cheers!"
"Stopped by here for happy hour as they give 51% off drinks and they're not weak drinks either. Really good deal! My friend and I also decided to try their Beijing Style Wings and Ahi Nachos. The wings were weird and all you could taste out of the 5 spices was cinnamon, which fell apart like a churro when you bit into it. It was a very strange texture and flavor. The ahi nachos, on the other hand, were delicious and beautifully presented! It could've used more ahi tuna for all the wonton chips that were provided, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything. The edamame puree at the bottom of the plate was a delicious addition that I had never seen before. This is something I would never get tired of no matter how many times I eat it. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fun as well. I loved that they had hockey on the tv without me having to ask. Honest, I would be more than happy to come back here and try some of their other foods."
"We made reservations for dinner at this great restaurant in Seaport Village for a weekday night. It was busy but we probably didn't need the reservation although it's better safe than sorry. We were immediately seated indoors with a wonderful view of the harbor. They have outdoor seating too but it was a bit chilly that night and we had noticed several tables asking to be moved indoors despite the heaters. Our spunky waitress did a fantastic job of taking care of us even considering she had far too many tables to attend to. She even took the time to come to our table and ask us if we wanted to go outside to watch a SpaceX launch as it was happening right then; it was a very cool thing to see and we appreciated her letting us know.I ordered fish and chips along with a glass of lemonade. The lemonade seemed freshly made, tart but refreshingly so. The fish was Alaskan cod, my favorite, and was light in flavor and fried perfectly. Malt vinegar was provided as was tartar sauce but the latter was used mainly to dip my thick fries into. This meal of fish and chips was the best I've had outside of the Pacific Northwest.Tiramisu for dessert! Their description: espresso & rum-soaked sponge cake, mascarpone, whipped cream, shaved chocolate. This was executed perfectly and I enjoyed the flavors in the sponge cake immensely. Considering this is a tourist spot the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely return here if I was choosing a place to eat in Seaport Village."
"I finally got a chance to check out Bogey's and I'm glad I did.I got there around 4 and it looked like they had their usual customers at the bar enjoying themselves. There is plenty of seating elsewhere and most of their pool tables are open. I'm sure this place gets busy so make sure to get there early and grab your spot. The new ownership has really done a good job with the place. Personally, I am looking forward to going back, grabbing a beer and enjoying a game of pool or three. I can't wait to try the food from their kitchen too. Pssst - I heard they have karaoke several days of the week too."
"What a great spot here Gabratella Osteria So nice to see such a nice newer Italian Resturant here. Music happens on Thursdays thru Sunday Full bar & and a cute coffee & gelato, & bread and dry pasta's Italian treats too We had a Happy hour menu1pm to 5pm every day expect Sunday Jose our server was great quick and helpful tooWe are coming back again maybe for brunch soon!! We enjoy our lunch!! I can't say enough about the big pizza red huge ovensThey have a a great hot ovens and good dough rolled out thin like we like it. The sauce was rich and flavorful that's what made for us!! On our pizza My friend Susan said the same too. we ordered a Margarita Pizza very good hot and thin crust simple but with fresh ingredients you tasted all the amazing flavor's with your first biteThe salad was good fresh with strawberries an cranberry's and goat cheese we had it on the side because not everyone likes goat cheese Pesto GENOVESE had a beautiful pesto sauce it was perfecto! And the barrita was good too But the pistachio cake was delicious so light and creamy at the same time It had a later of pistachio cream and later of Ricotta cheese So darn good!! I saw you buy a whole cake here Thanks Jose And staff"
"We had a birthday dinner here last weekend, at a table for eight. We enjoyed the view, the service was very friendly, and the food was great. We had cocktails - loved the Old Fashioned - and mocktails. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the clams and mussels which were very generous - ask for bread to soak up the broth! We also had salad. I think we all ordered pasta for our main course, so we had a variety and enjoyed it all (though I would have preferred capellini instead of bucatini). Didn't try the dessert - we had brought our own cake - but they did bring us plated and a knife. We will be back!"
"We loved our experience at Steak 48. We went with another couple who has gone a few weeks prior. They told us our recommendations and we went with the flow in terms of what we felt like for the evening. We wanted to bring our wine, but when we called: There is a corkage fee of $85 and the wine cannot be listed on their (extensive) wine list. You are better off purchasing a bottle from the restaurant. We were immediately seated in a private dining table (sits 4) next to the chef's kitchen. Our table also had a great view of the dessert's kitchen as well. We were close to the all-gender bathrooms (2 separate bathrooms), which were a plus! It was fun sitting at these tables because they are semi-private and you get to see what's going on in the kitchen! There are only 6 booths (I believe), so try to request for a unique experience.I ordered a glass of Chandon to start. The table ordered their drinks of choice. We were provided warm bread that had a sweet taste (honey) and butter to start. We ordered appetizers to share: chicken fried lobster tails, braised pork belly, crab legs, and fresh oysters. For dinner, we ordered the bone-in ribeye and new york strip, with sides crispy hasselback potatoes, corn creme brulee, and a bottle of Cab for the table. For dessert, we ordered the triple layer key lime pie, triple chocolate bombe, and beignets (off menu item).Everything we ordered was delicious. The service, the ambiance, the food, the drinks were all amazing. This is a very high class restaurant that costs a pretty penny! For our party of 4, it was close to $900. Save for a special occasion, because it's worth a visit."
"It was well past 5 o'clock but before sunset when I visited the rooftop bar at the Margaritaville Hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter. This establishment was located on the fourth level of the property. It was one of the largest pool areas I have seen for a rooftop venue in downtown. There were plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and cabanas. Impressive giant life-like parrots were painted as murals on two walls of the building, one facing south and the other facing west. The semi-circular bar had about a dozen seats and was located towards the southwest corner. Six appetizers, two salads, three burgers, two tacos, and a key lime pie made up the food menu. Ten different specialty cocktails along with beer and wine by the glass were the alcoholic beverage offerings. I picked the namesake 5 O'Clock Burger for my meal. A 6 oz patty was cooked medium as I requested and topped with black forest ham, American cheese, a fried egg, and mayo on a brioche bun. The ham and egg added extra heft to the burger. A side of french fries came with the order.Apparently, there was also a show stage featuring live entertainment... music, magic, comedy, etc. I didn't notice it during my visit because nothing was on the schedule. The Gaslamp has numerous choices if you want a panoramic view of the city from several floors above ground. I would bet that the 5 O'Clock Somewhere Rooftop Bar is a little known option to many locals and visitors alike. The tropical atmosphere was very laid back, and with so much space to spread out, you won't feel crowded at all."
"Great patio with views of the estuary and tbh very fun trains going by in the distance! A welcoming and attentive staff, and great food & cocktails. It was warm so my date had an elderflower spritz and I had a Negroni because it's a Negroni, you can't go wrong! For dinner a solid Cesar, and then two great pastas : my date had a tasty spicy Capesante e Gamberi, and I had a luscious mushroomy Ragu' Di Agnello, I have to say there were no leftovers :). Wonderful!"
"We made it back to The 'Comber. It was every bit as fun as it was the first time we went earlier in the spring. We replicated our last visit and hit up Sara's next door for some great Mexican grub before grabbing a four-top at Beachcomber. Rick and I grabbed our beers while our wives enjoyed their seltzers. Our fellow barmates were great, service was great, the 'Comber was great! One of San Diego's finest dive bars. Beachcomber."
"A nice little spot in the 4th floor of a hotel. Very open area and comfortable seats. I came here just before a Padres afternoon game so it wasn't to busy. There seem to be plenty of people around to check on us. Food and drink are pretty typical hotel prices. There is a pool that you can get a day pass to, but really isn't big enough to do anything. I would come here again before a game for a drink or two."
"First off the view is incredible beautiful ocean views as you drive up then you see the incredible marina full of yachts. Secondly the service is one of the best I've seen. Everyone was attentive and friendly. Made the evening really special. I ordered the special of the evening which was a New York Steak. It was cooked perfect at mid-rare and incredibly flavorful and was trimmed up the best I've ever seen. As you can see it was big. The potatoes were tasty as was the veggies. This was tender and juicy and the grill added a nice flavor of fire very good cook. They gave us all free desserts I chose the key lime pie. Wow it did not disappoint. It was incredible. Tangy and creamy and raspberry cooly was sweet and tart. Great dessert. This place is great. A little spendy but you get what you pay for and from time to time it's worth paying for it. Four of us ate for under 300$ without tip."
"We were here for a friend's birthday, so we were upstairs in the party room (which I think you need to pay to reserve). We figured we would be buying our dinner here, so we came hungry. I tried a couple slices of the Detroit style pizza, the all-meat one. It was very good, with that very crispy edge to the crust and plenty of sauce on top.My friend had a burger with Jojo potatoes, and I sampled her potatoes. I really like the bigger fries with the baked potato texture inside, but I think she prefers thin & crunchy.I was also very happy to see that they carry Faygo soda, which is a Detroit brand! It's hard to find in our area, and I got the last pineapple watermelon one, score!I can imagine that this is a fun place to come and hangout, and maybe play some pool. The food is a great addition. Parking is a little difficult, on the street and nearby neighborhood. But you might be able to park across the street at Liberty."
"I didn't have the highest expectations of this place but I was pleasantly surprised and I loved it. I've never been here before and had anxieties about parking, wait times, heat lamps, etc. However, once I arrived, everything worked out super well. They have parking in their garage but if not, there's plenty of street parking available. There was no wait when I came at a Saturday around 5:40pm. And it was a cold day with cloudy weather and there were indeed heat lamps. Dini's will likely be busier though on better weather days so something to keep in mind. We ordered the blacked shrimp pasta, and the flat iron. Both were delicious. We also ordered a clam chowder. I was surprised as to how big the portions were with the pasta! The 2 entrees were definitely enough for 3! The flat iron was delicious. I thought the mashed potatoes under it weren't that special but overall, the dish is a must have! The service was also fast and efficient. I highly recommend this place. It comes with a nice ocean view which is a plus. Definitely coming back!"
"My friend and I stopped in Black Cat Bar for drinks before a nearby show on Saturday night. It is a cute place that felt very cozy and welcoming on a cold, rainy night. there are a couple pool tables, a small bar, and an upstairs balcony with a fancy sofa, and an area that I couldn't see from the bar. There are cute black cat decorations everywhere. When I walked in the juke box was playing Joy Division, followed by several more dark wave tunes. I didn't have the chance to go through the juke box, but I liked what I heard. It wasn't crowded at 7:30 on a Saturday night, which was nice because there was plenty of space, but hopefully they draw a good crowd later and on other nights.I was drinking whiskey sours. They were simple, but the prices were great. Three Bulleit sours cost only $18. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would definitely make this my home bar.... cute place, friendly bartenders, cheap drinks and good music!"
"Stopped in on Saturday evening to take advantage of their Happy Hour at the bar. Never made it into the restaurant area, but sitting at the bar provides great views of the marina and water. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly, and took good care of us. Just off the bar is a large, tent covered patio, with live music and dancing. We had a couple Happy Hour drinks, and ordered a couple items from the HH menu: Potato Skins ($8), Zucchini ($7), and Wings ($9). We also wanted to try their Clam Chowder, which I was told is fantastic, but they were out and brought us their Albondigas (Mexican Meatball) Soup ($11) instead. I have to say, it was quite flavorful. The HH food was good, but typical bar food. Happy Hour is Sunday - Wednesday ALL DAY, and Thursday - Saturday 3 - 6 PM.Seems like there are a lot of "regulars" that hang out here, and the atmosphere was lively. Overall, we had a good time, and I'd definitely go back."
"1st time here and we enjoyed our dinner here Found it on Yelp and thought we try it Food was delicious tasty and all made to order Service was fast friendly and efficient shout out to our server VAL Ambiance is nice clean and organized Def coming back again"
"I had a gift certificate to this place....It sat around for many years, buttoday was the day to be used, hahaI informed the waiter about my certificate, and he was very gracious in honoring it, even though he had never seen one before, but said he had heard these things were floating around. It would've been nice to be outside on the patio, and everyone else had the same idea.I wanted solitude, so I sat inside. My server was very quick and attentive.I ordered some things to eat there, and some to go.I loved that the carnitas had the crunchy bits in it.I ate the portugués scramble at the table.Delicious fluffy eggs, bacon, onions, andpeppercini, along with thecheese... so many flavors on the palette! The mashed potatoes with skin were pretty good. Buttery soft, with a pinch of salt.I don't think you can mess up on mashed potatoes, can you?Blueberry mango jam was different but amazing. My drink was the mexican mocha topped with brown sugar crystals. Everything was worth the trip, and the price couldn't be beat. I would come here without a coupon/certificate, and if you know me, that's saying something.Wish I took more pictures to show you guys, but I was hungrier than a narcissist's ego."
"If you haven't been to Cowboy Star take this as your sign that you need to go! After a successful Padres game we decided a steak dinner would be the cherry on top for a perfect day. It was on the late end of the night but still about an hour before closing and we were able to grab 2 seats at the bar, fun fact did you know that they have cell phone chargers built into the bar? Always a convenient thing to have! We each ordered a drink and decided we weren't super hungry so we shared the 17oz ribeye which was plenty for the both of us. The ribeye came with broccoli and mashed potatoes, they were the most perfectly whipped and melt in your mouth potatoes! We also got a side of the mac n cheese because we saw someone else order it and knew we had to try it! Everything was perfect from start to finish - I absolutely love coming to this spot and will continue to come back!"
"I came here for a punk show. The place is pretty small and might be hard to spot if you don't know what to look for. There's one small "Space" sign out front, and a small parking area in the back. If you're here to see a show, it will get hot but I hardly noticed since I was into the bands I came to see. The stage area isn't raised much, so if you're short like me, you have to get there early to see anything. Drinks were good and strong for me. I ordered a Long Island ice tea and it wasn't just a cup of ice with a dollop of alcohol in it like at the last music venue I was at, so I was very pleased. I would definitely come back again for another sweaty punk show. :-D"
"A lot of super drunk people were in here in the middle of the day on a Sunday. I didn't like coming inside hearing drunk people arguing, but the bartender was nice, and the lighting and decor were cool. They have seating inside and outside (sadly you can smoke outside), pool tables inside, as well as a stage inside for events and karaoke (with lots of loud, bad singers). The prices were good though. Not really my style of place, but not a bad place."
