"This juice is spot is located in El Cajon in the same plaza as Popeyes chicken and $10 store. Great healthy breakfast or snack for me. The açaí build a bowl was deliciously I added mango, strawberry, granola plus almond butter only $7. The açaí was delicious so smooth and creamy. Excellent assortment of menu items teas, smoothies and açaí bowls. Great portion sizes. Reasonable price. Excellent customer service, the owner is awesome! Overall positive experience. Will positively return in the near future"
"Acai Carioca has set up a mobile stand in front of the California Dreams Hostel on Emerald St in PB just yards away from the waterfront. They have a simple menu in which you choose one of four serving sizes, a base, and then toppings. Tuesday was unlimited toppings day, yet the cashier didn't inform me about the offer. Brazilian cheese balls (pao de queijo) made of tapioca flour were also available for purchase. The cup sizes ranged from 12 oz to 32 oz with two to four toppings included. There were two base types... carioca (traditional acai berries blended with honey) and protein style. The latter cost an extra dollar because it was carioca plus a vanilla vegan protein powder. Nineteen different toppings were offered at an additional one dollar each.I picked a regular size carioca with strawberries and more honey. The natural sweetness from the premium acai was already high so the extra honey increased it even more. I think the 12 oz size would be sufficient for most customers because the 32 oz serving with four toppings at a price of $25 was steep. This was a very good quality product that exceeds the acai you get in a bowl at the chain shops."

"We have stopped by this stand many times over the years and the bowls are pretty good. Customer service is nice, not great. They are located in the busiest part of the market so I think that can effect the mood of the employees.I am giving 3 stars for the price of the Acai bowls. I know prices are high everywhere and I typically wont judge too much on price but these bowls are around $15 each. It is not worth the value and size of the food. They are good bowls but not for $15.The service is slow but that is not a deterring factor because I know the bowls are made to order. Overall, I may be back because they are the only Acai bowl in the place but I will look for other options."
"I needed a smoothie to revive me and give me some energy for the day, and it did just that! I ended up getting their Compassionate Cacao drink which tasted BOMB. I'm not going to lie the $13 I paid for this was a tad scary, but worth it. Also, the guy at front was nice and prompt. He did fill that smoothie cup fully, I just drank some before taking a photo. They have a beautiful outdoor area but I decided to take a walk to the park to enjoy this. This spot is just round the corner from my friends place, and I will come back when I see them again."
"This is great little drive thru and walk up coffee cottage with a single small table at the front. The young ladies running the shop make terrific coffee, as I learned from the 16 oz Cafe au Lait with 2% milk. The cafe au lait was very well made with just the right amount of hot milk added to the coffee to create a nice frothy and slightly creamy layer on top. The coffee they used was a medium Cafe Moto roast and was full bodied with very good robust finish. I great was to start my day indeed. They offer a variety of coffees here and also make Acai Bowls, teas, package granola and oatmeal products. Service is quick and served with a friendly smile. As I enjoyed my coffee at the single table they offer, the ladies struck up nice conversation. All their coffees are organic and part of fair trade."
"Stopped here for a bowl and loved it! We had dinner reservations at an Italian place for dinner so we were looking for something light and fruit-forward for lunch. The staff (Magdalena) was super helpful and friendly. I got a combo of the three different kinds of sorbet as well as the house works in terms of toppings (fruits, granola, coconut and more). For about $17 (large size), the portion size was incredible! So much sorbet and fresh fruit that they had to put plastic wrap on top to hold everything in place -- pretty legendary in my book! I had to ask for an extra plate to catch the inevitable fruit landslide as soon as I unwrapped it! I liked how it wasn't overly sweet and the ingredients were ultra fresh too. Also got an antioxidant smoothie which was great -- lots of fresh berries, banana and açai, not too sweet either. 100% will be back next time I am in San Diego!!!"
"good ceremonial matcha, lots of seating but no bathroom, unfortunate!! I would come back to try the acai and coffee. lots of natural light and tucked away from the main street"
"A hidden gem, almost speakeasy-esque! This little cart is located within the Nobel Executive Center, a non-descript office park near Nobel Drive and the 5 Freeway. It's near the back of the complex, and has a good amount of outdoor seating. I had the iced Americano and sweetened it. The espresso was made really well, which made this a great morning pick-me-up. The menu also has a number of non-coffee items as well, with pastries on display. The service was spectacular, with the staff making sure that we were happy with our drinks! Definitely try this place out, and don't let the location scare you"
"This place is aaaaaaamazing! Number 1. CUSTOMER SERVICE! We went there last night 5 mins before they closed and the guy that was there was so welcoming and polite, customer service is so underrated these days. It almost always makes things better! But the awesomeness didn't stop there. The flavors at this yogurt place are very on point and tasty! Place was very clean also! This is my go to yogurt place from now on!"
"A hidden gem along Paradise Valley Rd! The acai bowl here was delicious and affordable. Also ordered a mango smoothie, which was refreshing. The service was quick and friendly! There's ample of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. Highly recommend Frutti Mas!"
"Tasty juice! Good service. I recommend the undressed greens. The ginger shot was very spicey in a good way."

The place was cool. It has a really nice fruit mural. The açaí was good and a pretty good value at $8. It'll definitely be my snack/treat spot in the area.

Loved this new açaí shop, some of my favorite açaí base I've ever had and I love that you can add protein into the base as well! Lots of topping options and decent size portion!

I got the protein açaí and I'm not sure if there was any açaí... or if it was all chocolate. Wish there were more "normal" açaí options than the trendy bright blues and pinks. Wanted a solid açaí bowl and didn't get that. Way more chocolate than I was expecting on the protein açaí, so I paid for an extra 2 scoops of the regular acai base. It was fine.I'd say go get the empanadas and make a salad when you get home.

A couple years ago, I went on an Acai bowl rampage all throughout San Diego & tried about 40+ locations. This place is, hands down, the best! They use real Acai concentrate & do not add soy milk, apple juice, or whatever stuff that other cheap places use to water down their Acai bowls. In addition, I have been to Brazil & this place serves the most authentic close to the real thing!

I love açaí bowls and whenever I travel I always have to look up a place to grab a good one. We were in Point Loma area down in San Diego and found Northside. Wish I could pick this business up and move them down to Southern California. They have great açaí bowls and they don't skimp on the toppings. Lots of topping choices that you can get in your bowl but there are a few toppings you do have to pay extra for. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Small coffee shop with delicious coffee, cute floral wall. I had their spring special: iced blackberry lavender latte - SOOO GOOD! Friendly, quick service.
Visit Restaurant Page"Choice is an oasis in the world of processed food. Cold pressed juice in glass bottles, which is better for our bodies as well as the planet, is a unicorn in the world of juice, and is the only way juice should be bottled if you're health conscious. Thanks for doing it right, Choice.I love everything they serve: from their juices to smoothies that can also be made into a bowl to their salads, that can also be made into a gluten free wrap. My favorite is their Mediterranean Salad which often sells out.Their aesthetic is modern and clean with their menu being easy to understand and their staff welcoming. If I were a juice bar, I'd wanna be Choice when I grow up!"
"I personally love the vanilla iced chai. I've gotten it with an espresso shot, and it's also good. Daniel is very kind and welcoming."
"This particular Cargo Cafe is located at the Centerside Building in Mission Valley. When you park in the guest parking lot, you get 1 hour free, which is more than enough time to grab and drink and bit here. I had a good cortado and a fantastic soyrizo breakfast empanada from a local vendor. The cortado was good with a rich coffee flavor and a good smoothness. It just was a little heavy on the foam, not common with a cortado. Like said, the empanada was great. The filling was quite delicious. They soyrizo was scrambled in with a very good amount of eggs, which made the empanada shine. The crust of the empanada was very good, too. It was crisp in the right places and had a good softness in the right places. The service was upbeat and friendly. They offer breakfast burritos, paninis, smoothies, and salads, too. Not to mention avocado toast and specialty seasonal beverages. There's a good amount of inside seating and a lot of outside seating. It is a very nice place."
"By far the best smoothies!!! Not your usual watered down smoothie, they are silky and thick.Smells and looks very clean, service is always great."
"Delicious smoothies, good breakfast, acai bowls are great but not very generous for the price. They use high-quality fruits. What I love about Citrina is the free kids breakfast with $20 purchase on weekends: choice of croissant breakfast sandwich, cheese quesadilla, or two pancakes. Mixed fruits and juice or milk are included. I bring my family of 5 here after church and we always leave happy."
"Oh my gosh! I was going to come here on a lunch break last month but did errands instead. Finally came tonight. My boyfriend asked me what I was craving-acai bowl.To my surprise this was the cutest little place. Very clean and an abundance of options to pick from.We both got 2 items each.I got the Crepes (came with strawberries, bananas, nutella) and another delightful surprise-a scoop of vanilla ice cream. OMG this was sooo good it really hit the spot! The crepe was a thicker consistency and filled with the toppings on the inside as well as the outside. The ice cream took this to another level. I loved this so much!Next, I got my acai bowl (toppings of: granola, banana, green apple, and coconut). I was already full by this point but had a few bites before storing it in my freezer for tomorrow. It was also good! The Acai was a bit sweeter that I'd like but it was still good. I love all the fruit! My man ordered:Tuna Torta-I loved this also! The tuna was moist and tasty. I definitely wanted more of this. He enjoyed it and gave it a 7/10. The toasted bread was really good.Mango smoothie-soooo refreshing. It was more on the yellow color so like a ripe mango for sure. It said mixed with strawberries but i couldn't taste the strawberry flavor (just saw them on the toppings). Not sure but this was soo good to me.This whole meal was very appetizing for me and I will definitely be a returning customer to try more items!I can't wait!"
"Best açaí in ocean beach. Great sandos too! Real gem and hole in the wall kinda place. Local favorite"
"I actually really like this place. Good prices, the guy that is normally there is very nice. As well as the owner. The only issue I would say I have is the guy that is normally there by himself doing everything; handling money. And working in the back. He never wears gloves and I don't see a visible hand washing station and so I question how often hand hygiene is probable?. Since everything is done in the back you can't really know what he touches. There's a small window but it only shows the person in the back from the shoulders up. So I think the guy should wear gloves and after he touches money or the register needs to wash his hands or change gloves if he's wearing any. You don't know as well if someone may have an allergy to something. Last thing you'd want is for someone to be sick."
"FYI: the only actual difference between a portobello torta and a vegetarian sandwich is the bread - and the price on the menu. But in the cash register "system" they are prices the same - so if you order a sandwich, be sure to get a receipt and ask for a partial refund (which will not include the extra tax)."
"This is a great little coffee kiosk. Even though it was not on the menu, the young ladies working here made me the cortado I wanted. They use a local coffee roaster called "Torque Coffee." The cortado was terrific. It had a great robust coffee flavor and had a great smoothness from beginning to end. I liked it very much. The kiosk offers a variety of espresso based beverages, teas, and baked goods, not to mention a breakfast sandwich made with bagels for $6 and acai bowls for $7. My cortado was only $4.They offer a few tables outside in front of the kiosk. The service was super friendly and welcoming."
"I loved Brazilian Bowls and wow it's fast without being "fast food". Think Chipotle, but Brazilian. And I'm not taking about whatever sad excuse Chipotle has become in 2023. We're taking peak era bowls. I actually feel like the topping options at Brazilian Bowls and the quality of the ingredients make it healthier than Chipotle ever was. I got the steak and my boyfriend got the shredded beef. Both were fantastic, I preferred mine though. The spicy house dressing was the perfect sauce to tie everything together. We both customized them to our heart's content and ended up getting two meals out of the bowl. They have acai bowls and smoothies too that I wouldn't mind returning to try one day. I'll definitely be back for another steak bowl."
"We had recently got back from Hawaii and my husband was craving açai bowls. I got a beet blend juice & my husband had an açai bowl. The açai bowl was okay for San Diego. The juice was pretty good."
"This is a great stop for breakfast açaí bowls, croissants, chai, coffee drinks, and smoothies. There is a self-order kiosk that is easy to use. I especially like the whimsical sayings on their cups like "I don't even care". There are limited seats, but...I don't even care.Staff is friendly. They open early at 6:30AM. I admire morning people."
"This place has such low prices in my opinion. The person that took my order went the extra mile to make a special drink I requested. Service was quick which makes it ideal to drive through before work. I really enjoyed my drink as well"
"Husband found this gelato place and we swung by yesterday for a visit. Very limited parking but we found a spot right out front. We did some tastings and ended up getting the Quad, which is 4 flavors:1) pear2) strawberry cream3) pistachio4) sugar free hazelnut Every flavor tasted great; with our favorite being the refreshing pear . This has now become our go to gelato place if we are ever back in the SD area. Yum!! Price was reasonable at $7+ for the 4 flavors. We also orders a green tea boba 24 oz but the tapioca pearls were a bit soggy and not chewy enough. We will stick to their gelato next time and skip any boba drinks!"
"This is such a cute little cafe just around the corner from my son's condo in San Diego. It's one of their favorite eateries. They offer sandwiches, salads, and assorted beverages. Prices are very reasonable The two young ladies at the counter were very sweet & friendly. Although it took some time to get the order (it takes time to create such tasty artisanal creations!) it was well worth the wait. We all enjoyed our meals so much! There is dining inside but it was such a beautiful day we opted to eat at one of the tables adorned with umbrellas outside. Their patio is done so nicely accented with a lovely garden with a statue of Buddha to give you a serene eating experience plus a floral mural on the wall to complete the zen atmosphere. So easy to see why my son and girlfriend frequent this quaint eatery. Price point is spot on along with friendly service and the quality of food and drinks make you want to return here often!"
"Best yogurt place! We go here weekly. Very fresh toppings and the yogurt is fresh. They have a loyalty program too!"
"I am updating my review because last weekend I went to S3 for the first time ever at their new location. Yes, I know that they changed to a bigger store a few years back, but I have since moved to another part of town and had not been back.I first found S3 at least 6 or 7 years ago when I found myself at the nearby Discount Tire with a flat tire. I had been looking for a nice place to kill some time and had come across S3. After that, I came by periodically because it was always a lovely place with lots of original coffee and non-coffee drinks. After moving to another part of town, I had been meaning to get back and try the new, larger location. Last Saturday was finally that day. I met up with a friend for a little catch up time and a refreshing drink. I was impressed by the new, larger space and the creative decor. It was nice and cool on a hot day. We were welcomed upon walking in and given a bit of time to browse the menu. My dog was also welcomed. I chose a non-coffee drink called Golden Hour which was a hibiscus mango drink. I rarely drink fruity drinks like this, but I liked that it was not too sweet and was nice and refreshing. They have a few food items on the menu... some pastries and basic lunch items. My friend had the chia pudding. My dog enjoyed a pup cup. We sat chatting for a couple hours. The atmosphere was great. They sell some really cute cards and small gift items as well.If you are near Grantville, stop by S3 for a drink!"
"We've been here once a while ago early in the morning and haven't been back since because we don't drive through Miramar much anymore. Guess what brought us back? Their hours! I think this is one of the few coffee shops open after 4:00pm (besides Starbucks), for crazies like us.The coffee is good, and the interior is cute. I've never tried the drive thru because it was busy and confusing in the past, but hopefully they've made it better since.Outside seating is ok, but there was shade after 4pm which is a plus. Indoor seating is mostly booth and communal tables, which were taken up by individuals using their laptops so it's limited. Now I just found out they have another location on Mira Mesa! I'll be checking that out soon too since I do go to the Target and the playgrounds over there often. Yay!"

It's a delightful escape into a universe of taste, leaving you craving more with each sip. Treat yourself to this stellar beverage and let your taste buds embark on a galactic adventure!"
"So far from the different items I've tried, everything has been really good! Food is a bit overpriced though... but really good nonetheless.Had to upload a current menu since I couldn't find one online with their energy drinks."
"Tucked away in a older strip mall next to Caesar's Pizza. Is a bright spot on Campo Road that needs to be highlighted. With a menu of cold treats to tasty tortas. It's an area I have lived in for years but just recently discovered Fruity Loco. It just shows you good things are just under your nose. You just have to look.On a lunch break, I wanted something on the lighter side. Working a long shift on a hot day. A burger or burrito would of been counterproductive. So the search was on. Luckily I saw Fruity Loco across the street.Upon entering, I was greeted with a friendly Hi and some familiar tunes. I already had what I wanted in mind; two large chamangos. Before you know it. I was in and out. A perfect lunch spot if your pressed for time. The chamango itself was delicious. Very hard to explain unless you had one. Let's just say it's like a Jamba Juice but hundred times better. With bits of chewy chamoy and pieces of mango. After I felt energized, satisfied but not weighed down.Overall, a great place for a quick drink and/or a bagel or nachos. Next time I visit. Going to try their tortas. Support local businesses especially the good ones. Fruity Loco is a bright spot on Campo Road you need to go to. Eat here."
