Come for the food and stay for the noise. If you're looking for "indian" food, er, sure join the line. This is pakistani food and you can enjoy the difference with the Sizzler which is pakistani bbq style. From the hole in the wall Mtn View to taking over California Ave in PA and then expanding to Redwood City - this fever is taking hold for a reason. Delightful food, sky high prices and the classic desi eye balling matches you can expect ("why are you here???? im the only one").From once a month down to once every 6months - I still crave the madness and head on out. Congrats to the team for staying consistent.

Food:Can't go wrong with the Chicken tikka masala plate! I like to replace the rice with naan because the naan is more fun to eat the food with. The chicken is tender although I wish there were a few more pieces of chicken. The lentils are tasty as well but my main priorities are just eating the masala and the nann. The chai is lovely, sweet and well spiced. It's great to drink on cold evenings. Service is fast and friendlyAmbiance is always bustling and the interior is spacious with decorations here and there. Lighting is good and plenty of seating is available.

Came here between lunch and dinner for a small group (5 people), and the entire experience was wonderful! From prices, to quality and taste, to location - I'm gonna be back at Zareen's. It's pretty laid back where you order at the register, take a number, and staff bring out your food. You self-service water, cutlery, and condiments. They have a lovely outdoor area that has abundant seating and is covered. Though my party each ordered their own entrees, we shared a couple sides. Here's everything I ate: Chicken boti thaliVegetarian samosaGarlic naan Mango lassi Not many restaurants can compete with Zareen's price and quality! The chicken boti thali was enough to feed me and my partner (brought him the leftovers). The samosa was the largest samosa I've ever seen - and the filling was delicious and stuffed.If I can't convince you to try this place, maybe just go on California Ave and you'll be drawn by the delicious enticing smells as you draw near Zareen's. If that doesn't convince you, I don't know what will hahaha.

This place was very delicious and busy during lunch. Their chicken tikka masala was flavorful and their garlic naan was perfect. It was soft with a bit of oil over it. Also would recommend the mango lassi. Currently they're doing some construction so it could be a bit loud but they have plentiful of seating outside as well.

Zareen's is an Indian-Pakistani restaurant offering authentic, flavorful dishes, from kababs to naan. When I visited, they provided both indoor and outdoor seating options. The service was quick, and the portion sizes were generous. We started with the Chicken Shaami Kabab and Chicken Tikka as appetizers. The Chicken Shaami Kabab, made from minced meat and a blend of Indian spices, was juicy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with a refreshing mint sauce that had a spicy kick. (So, for those with a low spice tolerance, beware!) The Grilled Chicken Boti Sizzler was my favorite--succulent, juicy meat bursting with flavor and, most importantly, a distinct smoky essence. On the other hand, the Lamb Gosht was a bit underwhelming. The flavor felt flat, and the meat was somewhat dry.The Garlic Naan, however, was a highlight. It was incredibly fluffy--perhaps the fluffiest I've ever had--garlicky, buttery, and perfect for soaking up curry without falling apart. The Chicken Tikka Masala was another star: rich, creamy, and mellow in spice.The portion sizes were more than enough for four adults, and we ended up taking leftovers home. The meal was hearty and satisfying. However, one concern was the way the glasses, cutlery, and plates were laid out openly on the sidewalk. I wish they were covered for hygiene reasons. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and had a great experience.

The food is great! I ordered the tandoori chicken burger is surprisingly delicious, and the fries are especially crispy. The more traditional food is tasty as well - the chicken tikka masala has a strong smoky value due to the chicken being cooked in the tandoori. I do wish the Indian/pakistani dishes were spicier.Considering the self-service style of the restaurant, I do wish the prices were more reasonable. The seating is also not the most comfortable - there was a constant breeze on my table indoors, which caused my food to cool down exceptionally fast.

You can't go wrong with Zareen's! I've been to another location before but I can't remember which one- but I do remember the food being delicious! And I was not disappointed this time around either! This location had a ton of outdoor and covered seating with heaters! It looked like they were under construction maybe doing some remodeling. It was pretty late on a Monday night and it was still packed! I got the chicken tikka masala plate with a garlic naan. I'm still thinking about it! So much flavor and it came with lentils and a cucumber tomato salad.

Arsh was amazing, and the butter chicken was great. The perfect amount of spice.The restaurant space was nice too.

Arsh gave perfect service! We ordered the paneer tikka, chicken tikka, and 4(!) lassi.
