Yummy Trieu Chau

My go to Mi spot. Love this place whenever I'm in San Jose. I just love visiting my old neighborhood when in town.

It was really hard for me to write this review because I always strive to do my best to support small mom and pop shops that are super underrated. Unfortunately during my very first visit, I found a hair in my bean sprout garnish. Fortunately I asked for it to be replaced, and without hesitation it was done so. Hygiene and cleanliness is a priority for me and unfortunately because of this I knocked it down a few stars.As for the food itself, it was delicious. I ordered a small number 2 but dried version and it was hefty. I can't even imagine what a large would feel like.The dried noodles had adequate garnishes and tons of meat. It honestly felt very fair for the price. What I wish it had was a few more shrimps and cuttlefish, but for the amount of meat I had I couldn't complain. Overall, I don't mind the location, or interior as much when the food is good. Unfortunately hygiene was a key factor here and one that could had been avoided.

Food came out quickly so we can head back to work on time too.We ordered the special Hu Tieu / Mi Trieu Chau combo- Dry version, which comes with a pork bone broth on the side.Must try this version if have yet tried. We love the pickled peppers here too, it's so spicy and the perfect addition to our soup. Can't wait to go there again!

I came here with my boyfriend to have early lunch and I want to say this is probably the best hu tieu place I've ever had . Service was amazing, friendly, and fast. Super cozy inside. They were very attentive to their customer. Would definitely come back !!

We ordered to-go hu tieu. Not as good as Kali Noodle though. Broth isnt salty at all. They give a lot of noodles. I split the noodle soup into 3 meals. Wished they put more soup and meat. The big piece of pork bone took up too much space in the soup container. I ran out of soup at the end. Fresh ingredients.

This place surprised me! Their hu tieu is easily one of the best ones I've had in the bay area. It was well seasoned and came with a nice amount of proteins. The portions are great for the price. I love the bone that comes with the dry version. 4 stars because there were some flies that kept landing on the table and service is non existent (but that's how you know the food is good). They came to take our order 5 seconds after giving us the menu lol. The restaurant has their own parking lot.

Ate here so many times, but it seemed the dried Hủ Tiếu Triều Châu today was much different. Dunno if it's because the hotness of fresh noodles or not, but the noodles sticked together into a ball, which was not the usual state of noodles that I'd get. Besides that, their Phá Lấu (fried offal?) and Hoành Thánh (dumplings) were great!

Solid hu tiêu noodle place for many years but super dirty! I loves coming here when I am craving for hu tiêu but this place needs an update because it is super dirty inside as well flies are everywhere. It usually busy on weekend afternoon and services are okay. I always get my hu tiêu dry style. The bowl of soup comes with it was good too but too much msg. There was a fly in my bowl noodle when the servers bring out the foods. I am an easy person so it wasn't a big deal with me, it happens in food industry but that was just for me. I did tell the servers at the end and we both laugh at it as it was a usual things. Not usual it the health department! It is good foods, but just needs an remodel on the restaurant!

Haven't had hu tieu Nam Vang in awhile so decided to try a new place. Savory noodles with plenty of protein - pork slices, heart, liver, shrimp, ground meat, dried shrimp, squid. They had extra sauce on the side if you like your noodles with more sauce. I like the soup outside so it can with a bowl of broth and pork bone. Good flavors, so I wouldn't mind coming back.It is a hole in the wall so there is no A/C. Restroom was small but clean. Only thing that bother me was that there were flies flying about. Food is solid 4 stars. I just don't like the flies indoor.

Eh it's not as good as it used to be. Soup is mediocre and noodles always so hard. They have h their hit or miss days
