Five stars for the overall experience! The food is just as good as any fancier Chinese takeout place. You order at the counter, and they have a couple of tables where you can sit and enjoy your meal. It's definitely a family-run business, and you can feel the care they put into everything. The lady at the front was super friendly and helpful. She enhanced the entire dining experience with her cheerful attitude and welcoming demeanor. The food was served super hot, which I loved. I had the beef chow fun, and it was smoky, flavorful, and packed with beef. My husband really enjoyed his tomato beef chow mein as well, plenty of beef and perfectly seasoned.Yen Ching is a great spot for tasty, comforting Chinese food with exceptional service.

Spent 30$ on pork fried rice and a noodle plate. My partner bought a beef chow mein and to be honest the beef was not edible. I don't know who's giving this place 4 stars, but they need to stop. On top of all that we took one, maybe two bites and tossed the rest in a trash, I didn't want to give it away to some homeless people and them get sick. We ended up buying some good O' fashion American double cheeseburgers. Sorry Yen Ching.

The food is here is consistently good. I love the smokiness of the beef chow fun and soft but chewy texture of the noodle. Great price with big portions. Love the mom and pop feeling. The lady who takes the order is really nice. The man in the back is a great chef.

My wife's client recommended this restaurant to us. After hearing great things about the chow fun and considering its convenient 5-minute drive from our home, we decided to give it a try. During our visit the other night, I was pleasantly surprised by the service provided. The chow lived up to its reputation and was quite good though not the absolute best we've ever had. We also tried the honey walnut prawns, Mongolian beef, and wonton soup, all of which were pretty decent. While the sweet and sour pork had a delicious flavor, the meat was a bit tough. In conclusion, this restaurant offers comforting, affordable and delicious Chinese food in a cozy, hole-in-the-wall setting. I believe it surpasses Pearl River and will likely become our preferred choice for affordable and quick Chinese food.

Located where Happy Donut is. We have never been here but saw reviews that enticed me to want to try. I just wished we tried them during our non-vegetarian day. I don't think we got the best whey have to offer. I wanted tofu as my protein in the chow mein and tofu in the chow fun (not pictured). I was asked if I wanted the tofu stir-fried or deep fried. Thinking to myself shaving off some calories/fat is better than nothing, so I went w/ stir-fried but boy, that was a mistake. The menu reminds me of Jade China. You can dine in, but it's more of a pick-up and enjoy your meal elsewhere type of place. Prices were very reasonable, cheap even especially during the inflation now. The lady that took care of us was really sweet and kind. The tofu was better off fried, my mistake. I did not care for the chow mein (it was severely under-seasoned), but the chow fun was pretty good. It would have been better if the tofu was fried for the chow fun as well. Why the 5 stars? For their variety on the menu, prices, and service. I'll order beef chow fun and beef chow mein next time to try next time.

Their Schezuan chicken is freaking amazing!!! I'm surprised I had never tried out this place earlier. Very small place with limited sitting options but the food is delicious. Portions sizes are pretty good and prices are reasonable. It cost us just $23 for a Rice bowl - Schezuan chicken with Egg fried rice and Combo #{I don't remember}- Egg roll, Prawn fried rice and Broccoli chicken. This is a hole in the wall kind of place which is run by an elderly couple. Lady who took our order was the sweetest - she suggested what we should try and even got us extra spicy sauce and sweet/sour sauce without any additional cost! Highly recommended for the Schezuan Chicken with Fried Rice!

Decent Chinese food for that specific area. You get what you get (and you cant throw a fit, right?). There are better choices 15 min away, but sometimes I just don't want to drive 15 min after a long day, so I settle for Yen Ching. They are decently priced and my kids eat it. We usually order the bbq pork fried rice with a side of broccoli sauteed with garlic. The broccoli is nice and tender and full of the tossed garlic flavor. I also get a side of wet flat noodles with beef and black bean pepper sauce. The service is amazing; they are so nice. The place is owned by a husband and wife and you can almost see their life journey here through their business.

Mom and Pop, sort of hole in the wall I gave the benefit of the doubt. The chicken fried rice was good but the entree portion was small and not the best. The lady is really nice though.
