I moved out to LA a while back, but was in town visiting family and had a potsticker craving...so headed over to Yat Sing. This place is still amazing! I also ordered the Kung Pao chicken, mabo dofu and garlic prawns. Taste was on point yo!!

I see a lot of complaints about interior or service but I avoided those. Food was a bit disappointing. Not a lot of food, small pieces, and lukewarm. Unsure if it's just a lunch special thing or if I chose a poor item, but I was surprised with my experience, not that I was expecting anything.Sweet and Sour Chicken (Lunch Special) - on the bright side, the chicken is not super greasy while still being fried. Besides that, the rest of the dish was a bit sad. Unlike normal sweet and sour chicken, there aren't any bell peppers. There's barely any onion too. There's maybe 8 pieces of onion and celery in total. Food was also not hot, barely even warm. Two scoops of rice and probably one and a half scoops of chicken with vegetables as a garnish (at the bottom), wouldn't order this again.

Tried this place for the first time it was really funny because as soon as we walked in the lady wanted us to order and she told us to hurry and stood in front of the table until we made our order. It gave a bad taste already before we even tried the food. This also led us to order a lot less because we felt so rushed as if she didn't want to help us due to her " lunch"Anyways the place is really pretty in a good plaza but the service was just rude, the portions are not too big but the food was good. The kung pao chicken plate was mostly veggies so we would've wanted more actual chicken since that's why we ordered it. Anyways definitely good to try, but the personal experience definitely makes me hesitant to return

Be cautious when ordering takeout. Wait, actually, just don't do it. As stated in another review, they use different size takeout boxes with no correlation to price or dish i.e. veggie, rice, noodles. They just use whatever size suits them. I order 4 dishes: broc beef, black pepper chicken, kung pao chicken, and pork fried rice. Both chicken dishes came in small takeout boxes and the other two in normal or "large" size boxes. Again, do not order takeout from them or specify to have all large boxes. No one likes getting belly robbed. Yat Sing more like Yat Stingy

The food here was amazing! I decided to cater with them for my party. Every item that I ordered really hit the spot. Potstickers: the filling was moist and well season. Doesn't taste frozen at all. Sweet and sour pork: super crispy and flavorful. The sauce was perfect!Eggplant- the sauce was perfect. I love how it has a subtle flavor of spice. It wasn't overpowering and added a perfect layer of heat to the dish Combination noodle and fried rice: they were not cheap with the amount of ingredients. A lot of meat and shrimp.

The food is great but the quantity is bad. We ordered kung pao shrimp for $19.95 I understand there's a price difference in grub hub but the restaurant gave us a tiny box with my $20 food. The same box they use for steam rice. The rest of my order like chowmein is in a bigger box. I asked why it's in a tiny box, they said they're no more box but that's not the point. They gave me a small amount of food that I paid for $20.
