Solid sandwich spot but value is debatable. The sandwich isn't very large compared to other places. It's about a dollar more compared to duc hoang.The grilled beef was just ok. The roasted pork was BOMB. It's def a must try. The combination was good but par for the course. Overall would stop by if in the area but wouldn't make a detour

My parents really like Y-Linh Sandwiches and we decided to give them a try. It's a small location in a busy plaza so parking is can be hard to find unless you go early. Inside was simple, clean and they made the space work for them.The sandwiches are on the smaller side and a bit pricier compared to Duc Huong and other banh mi places we've been to. We ordered the noodle bowl, combo, roasted pork and grilled pork banh mi. Flavor was there and the baguette was soft and not hard like other places. The service was friendly enough. Like other yelpers have mentioned the wait time is something they should work on especially if there aren't a lot of customers in the store. Will I be back? Possibly.

Great service and sandwiches. The sandwich is relatively inexpensive compared to Duc Huong, Lee's, Banh Mi Oven and Thanh Huong. The meat to veggie ratio is perfectly balance. They offer catering from sandwiches to spring rolls and more. Keep in mind their sandwiches are not in foil platters when placing a catering order. They can cut the sandwiches in half or thirds. It is clean and aesthetically pleasing inside the store. The menu is easy to peruse. They offer a variety of drinks and desserts. A freshly baked baguette is $2. Their Vietnamese kids coffee is so strong and not iced down.

Decently priced banh mi, some are even pricier than this but they do taste great. Neat presentation. The pork belly wasn't what I thought it would be, it's more like charsiu

From top to bottom an amazing sandwich. The bread was crispy yet gentle on the gums unlike some other places. Nice thick slices of proteins and a very flavorful pork cake. Pate was very well balanced. Veggies were fresh and crispy after my long ride back home to the Eastbay. Definitely worth the trip next time I crave a Banh Mi

Y-Linh Sandwiches opened where Golden Bakery once was. Order to go only with cashier, not kiosk. No seating inside. Able to order promptly as it wasn't busy 11ish. Minimal decor. Offerings: banh mi, Vietnamese healthy drinks, snacks in cooler.Eats: Ba Chi (pork belly) banh mi (8)-option of cutting banh mi in 1/2, separating veggies outside of banh mi. -grilled pork belly slices tastes similar to charsiu.-limited veggie's: cilantro, jalepenos, cucumbers, daikon strips with slight smear of pate? Mayo?*nice change from usual combo, meatballs...Drink: Sam Bo Luong/Mu Trom (6)-heard it pronounced "mo gai", recommended by cashier to another customer. A Viet health drink.-minimal sugar, pandan jelly, basil chia seeds, jujube, ginseng extract?...*healthier than boba drinks, Viet mix drinks..4.5 stars love the personalized service, traditional Viet eats with new protein options for banh mi.

I was actually just in the area and hungry, didn't know what was around me and this popped up first so I thought, why not? Upon arriving, I felt like I actually was in Asia with the automatic opening doors and cute bell sound when you walk in. They have a full display of their snacks and some Vietnamese desserts when you first walk in, very enticing and I'll definitely have to come back to try them! The service is super quick, they are so patient (I took a quick minute to look at everything and the menu). I ordered a chicken banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. If you're a foodie, you know to always get the Vietnamese coffee!! They make it perfectly, sweet and creamy; the bitterness hits you only a little after but lasts so short you barely notice it. The sandwich is huge for the price you're paying - so this was a major bang for your buck! I'll definitely be back, everything was delicious.

I love the cleanliness of this sandwich place! Although not Huong Lan, it definitely still hits the spot when I'm craving Vietnamese sandwiches :)

Adding a fourth star for their #1 combination banh mi! For how much they put into the sandwich, it's definitely worth the price! Very flavorful and everything is balanced well from the meat to the vegetables. The bread was also toasty on the outside but soft once you fully bite into it. Service was also quick as I ordered in person this time. Overall if you are thinking of trying this place I would definitely recommend ordering their #1.

This is a chain sandwich shop. The second store in the Bay Area. There is another one in San Jose off King street.Here is my scoring card for this restaurant:1) Location: ( 4 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and back side with parking lot parking.2) Decoration : (3 Point) - They still have the original decoration. New and clear. Just have a grand opening.3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are average . ( must be inflation )5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of Vietnamese style sandwich food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in Vietman . Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's needOverall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think.
