Wong's Cafe

This place is so good and consistent, I had to get food from here again! This makes the second time in a week I'm getting takeout from this restaurant.They make a fantastic Singapore fried noodles, so this and their beef chow fun was what I ordered again. My sis and I have to remember to let them know to back off on the shrimps, we both are not crazy about shrimp. They seem to have way more shrimps than what we like, perfect if you like shrimp but not for us.The beef chow fun is great, they use onions and bean sprouts and green onions, we love green onions but they don't seem to go overboard on the green onions which is too bad because we love green onions.I'll definitely be back when I come to san francisco again.

This is a local to-go joing for Chinese food. My go to items are bbq pork fried rice, chow mein, beef and broccoli, honey walnut prawns and clams. I was ordering here a lot when my dad and his friends worked on my house and they would request lunch from here every day. On Mondays when they're closed was the days that they'd be force to eat McDs or Burger King. We'll continue to frequent this small mom and pop shop!

It's a hole in the wall. Mainly for take out food. It's good. You can taste the "wok hay" that their woks are seasoned well. Ordered mix veggies, tomato beef chow mein HK style pan fried noodles extra crunchy. They separated the beef, and sauce in another container so you can pour it on at home yourself. They way it should be served!Last dish was salted fish/chicken fried rice. Made the way it's suppose to taste:authentic village style. Cash or Venmo only! Yum!

We ordered catering from Wong's Cafe for our baby shower a few weeks ago and it was a hit! I liked how clear their catering menu was. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings ($120 for large tray), salt and pepper fish ($120 for large tray), and honey walnut prawns ($140 for large tray) and all of them were hits! Will definitely think of Wong's in the future for catering.

The definition of a hole in the wall. Take out only, Phones in an order of wonton noodle soup and general chicken. The soup broth was very bland much like water. Had to come back for this delicious Chinese food! I opted for the all day rice plates subbed with fried rice and chow mein. I did order pretty early through the phone around 11:30am. When I arrived, the food was ready. The mongolian beef was tender and delicious. It's one of my favorites from here. Sadly, the fried rice was a little hard, maybe old from last night or overcooked. The general chicken was a first time try for me and it was really good! It had a sweetness to the glaze that was on the chicken and overall really enjoyed it. The chow mein noodles were delicious as well. Great price and size!

This is classic Chinese takeout. There's a small eat in area too, if you want. There's shrimp dishes are excellent, with a tender thin coating, not the thick tough kind. The eggplant & green beans are excellent too. The vegetable chow mein actually has vegetables in it! This is a great & economical place.

For reals a hole in the wall on a triangular corner. They serve all day lunch specials over rice which you can pay $2.00 extra to upgrade to chow mein or fried rice. I went with an Oder of their salt and pepper pork chops with chow mein and their general chicken with fried rice. The pork chop are good flavor wise and portion. The chow mein wasn't cracking. Wet and had no chew. The general chicken was decent. They throw in hella onions! The fried rice was pretty simple but good. Nice smokey wok taste. I'd go back!

Took a chance at this little cafe in Daly City and glad we did. Ordered beef tomato gee mein to go. When I see tomato chow mein on a menu I try it to see how it compares with what I fondly remember my uncle bringing back from Chinatown in the 70s. It was a similar taste and base my experience on if I'd order again, it's a . Next time I'll try some other dishes, not sure if I'd dine in, possibly but will depend if any seating. Saw lots of people picking up to go orders as I sat in my car waiting for mine. Looks like a family run restaurant, so if you're in the area, give them a try!

The food was very good. Quick easy they only take cash and Venmo. Took our food to go. The only complaint I have was that the broccoli beef taste a bit fishy.Overall delicious would go back.
