, quaint restaurant w items you normally don't see at every Mexican market or restaurant. I've been coming here since I was a little girl and it feels like home. Where so many others have changed up, sold off, closed up... the taste of adobera tacos I know I can always get here

They catered at the Dia de los Muertos festival in downtown. While I can't speak to the service at the actual grocery store, I did try their asada and pollo tacos at the festival and thought they were good. The asada was a bit on the drier side but nothing a little spicy green sauce and lime wedges can't fix. The pollo was very tender and well marinated not too heavy in flavor. A good teaser, I'll likely stop by the store at some point to check out their other goods.

A hole in the wall and hidden from the busy El Camino, this place serves up some no frills in your face Mexican food. I love coming here because the food just tastes good. The proteins are well marinated and very tender and crunch depending on what you get.I usually get tacos with lengua, carnitas, pastor, and cabeza (if they have it). The salsa rojo (red) is not that good for my taste, I prefer salsa (verde), it's more light and refreshing. The serving sizes are very generous and it goes a long way. I'm usually full and satisfied. When you say spicy, it's going to be spicy which is to me, should be the way it should be. Not the toned down spice levels at other taquerias. These definitely tingle your buds. Also they serve each one with boiled beans in a cup and I don't know what they boil it in, but it's always bomb. It's a market also, seating is limited and good luck finding parking during prime hours. The folks that work here are friendly and will help you navigate the menu if need be. Order, grab a drink out of the fridge, pay at the counter for what you ordered plus your drink of choice, go to the back and chill at the tables while you wait for your deliciousness.

Well. I guess i ate what I bought. And I'm not hungry any more. But I don't think I'll be returning back again. Pineapple in a burrito? Just no.Wait time - meh...Price - fine I guess, but low on value End of the day just wouldn't recommend it to a friend or even just a random stranger on yelp.

A true hidden gem! I think people don't know about this Willow Market because you can't see if from El Camino but you should because it's the most delicious and authentic Mexican food you'll find!! Staff are very friendly and the food is so fresh. The homemade tortilla chips, tacos and enchiladas are my favorite. Would definitely recommend! Very happy they're on DoorDash now!!

One thing to know about this place: "Al Pastor"!!! Get the Al Pastor burrito or the Al Pastor tacos. They are out of this world. The tacos come with the most amazing spicy beans that you've ever had. You order at the food counter and then get a drink and stand in line to pay with the others buying groceries. There is seating for about 8-12 people in the back. The parking lot holds about 8 cars and is one house down the street. This is a block from Target in Redwood City and 2 minutes from Costco so it is my convenient place to stop and eat a burrito and then shop. Yelp had this rated at $$$ and it should be $ as it is inexpensive ($5.95 for a regular burrito).

My coworker took me to this place for lunch today, he told me they have great tacos...and they reminded him of home (Mexico City). It is a little yellow market/taqueria off El Camino Real, never noticed it before. It is very small, but it has some 2 person booths in the back of the store. We ordered Al Pastor tacos, 5 each to be exact. When they were brought to our table, they looked very good. What makes these special, is the addition of pineapple...OMG, these are really good. I couldn't help myself, I had to order a couple more (sounds like a lot, but my coworker ate 10...lol). I highly recommend this spot to you all, and definitely get the Al Pastor tacos...you will not regret it.

If I can I would give this place negative stars, I bought 2 hotdog, ( I bought them in the past ) loaded with diced tomatoes, onions, jalapeños and mustard. Today I got a little extra a ROACH!!! I went back to get my money back the lady at the cash register ask why i want my money back I showed her the roach she had customers so she tried to get rid of me fast didn't say sorry or nothing just handed me my money and get me out of there it sorta seemed like if the happens a lot there and its a common thing cause she acted like it was nothing... I heard stories about this place before, about roaches all up in their food and in the heating food section, but today I seen it I wouldn't go back to this place for food unless it's a bag of chips
