Been here a few times and definitely like this charming restaurant. Their food is that Italian comfort food you crave in big American sized portions. Great wine and cocktail selection with my favorite dirty martini being extra dirty. The eggplant parmigiana is my go to and they execute it so well with that creamy tomato-y sauce. My only wish for this dish is a bit of pasta on the side to go with it, then it would be completely perfect. The bruschettas are great and worth ordering. Great bread too but you do have to order it extra (insert sad sound effect) which I feel goes against Italian restaurant laws or something. They have lava cake! Important info, believe me. Overall friendly service, though I do remember that on our first visit, I almost walked out because we had made a reservation but they still made us wait about 20 mins. There's no real sitting area to wait besides the bar which was packed so we were left with awkwardly standing at the entrance. I felt sympathetic with Larry David in that one episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where he made a reservation for a rental car but they gave it away, or that time where he had an appointment at the doctor where they didn't honor the time. I also wanted to sputter out "but that's the whole point of make a reservation at a particular time". Thankfully I was able to keep in my hangryness and Larry David thoughts. I'm so glad we stuck around though, haven't had that occur again.

On a Friday night, we visited this location based on its positive reviews. We were served by an elderly gentleman who initially seemed quite stern and appeared upset, though he later gave us a smile. While he wasn't very warm or engaging, especially when it came to offering specials or checking on our meal, I understand that he's elderly, and I tried to be patient with him.Despite the service, the food was excellent, and everything we ordered was delicious. Our server did mention that the pizza was a personalized size, but when it arrived, it was much larger than expected--my dad could only finish two slices! I'd say the pizza is definitely shareable. The ambiance was great, and the place was buzzing with activity, which added to the overall experience.

Always consistent Good food. Service is iffy at times. They walk on by and I swear I'm invisible at times.

We were looking for a date night spot for dinner and stumbled on this spot. They were able to seat us quickly even as a walk-in. The staff was super friendly and the food was not only good, but the portions were large! Great spot for a date. Be sure to also check out their wine list!

Great food & Vintage Ambiance powered by Poor Service. We ordered Kale Salad (Excellent) with Freshly Baked flat bread (4/5- lacked a dipping oil). Also, ordered Penne pasta with pink sauce for my kid- delicious and good portion for 15$. Funghi Pizza was yumm with mozzarella cheese. Ponsatti - Ravioli pockets dipped in Tomato sauce was also delicious! Poor Service: Heavily understaffed I believe, existing servers have a No ** attitude, don't care to check on your table. One Example: My wife & I kept sharing our fork to eat our food, while waiting on someone to come give us a fork (for quite a long time).

First time trying Vivace and we really liked it. We made easy reservations on Open Table for a weeknight. Parking can be a little challenging but there is street parking and side street parking. We found the the hostess to be very nice as well as our server. We explained it was our first time visiting so I feel he gave us extra attention. We started with Calamari, flatbread and a Margarita Pizza as an appetizers for our group. The calamari was cooked excellent for our taste as well as the pizza. Everyone really enjoyed the entrees too. For dessert we tried the tiramisu and bread pudding. The one thing we really enjoyed about this place was the atmosphere. They also have a great bar area with a nice tv as well.

Went for 3 family birthdays. Food was overall good but everything came out at different times and mine was warm but not hot (one of my pet peeves).Service was so so - our waitress was very pushy in trying to upsell appetizers and suggested getting several salads for appetizers and desserts. Even asking the kids if they wanted dessert directly. There were 8 of us and when we said we wanted a bread bowl they gave us 2 and of course charged us double. We were all full but decided to order one dessert to celebrate- we specifically noted we were celebrating 3 birthdays so I thought they might comp the one dessert but they didn't. Food - children's sliders were overcooked and tiny so if you have a big eater order differently. Calamari came out barely warm. There is a 3% employee charge - which you are taxed on!

Have been eating here in person & via DoorDash for 4 years. I used to love the food but over the last year the quality has been worse and worse. Missed items, flat out botched dishes that used to be consistently great. Hope they can get it sorted.
