Best place to go for excellent duck salad, duck soup, porridge. The restaurant also serve chicken as well but their duck is super flavorful and lean. Appetizers - yummy bánh beo served in individual tiny dishes.

This place has some ducking good duck!We started off with the duck salad, Shredded duck meat on top of a pile of fluffy shredded cabbage and dresssing.Ordered the duck noodles and congee. Duck salad was a winner; the duck noodles seemed a bit gamey and wasn't very generous with the duck meat. Duck congee was okay; would return just for that duck salad.

TL;DR: food is good and inexpensive, and the aunties and uncles who run this spot will help you out!I got curious about this place when hunting for a spot to try because I'd never seen a Vietnamese restaurant serve duck like this before. Chicken rice places are fairly common so I was intrigued, and the fact that many reviewers mentioned their delicious banh beo sealed the deal. The restaurant is located in one of the random corners near the giant plaza filled with Vietnamese restaurants and shops, so it was nice to stuff my face then go walk around to stave off food coma. The interior is pretty basic, and apart from the table seating, don't expect much else. The menu looks enormous but there are many combinations of similar things all listed so going through it is a little trying. When ordering, I started with banh beo, then as I was struggling through ordering the duck, the auntie running the restaurant just told me exactly what she was going to put in for me and that it would be good for two people. Why argue with an expert? English isn't their strong suit but pointing at the menu and gesturing works well. Most of the other customers seemed to be Vietnamese so they definitely have a steady clientele.Food:Banh beo: I love these little cups of rice cake! They were topped with the usual dried shrimp and some pork lard and were delicious with the fish sauce.Duck salad: what I came here for! This arrived looking like a mountain of food, there's an enormous pile of cabbage and herbs under the duck, and you pour this sauce over everything. I didn't bother tossing it, so we just attacked the salad which was very refreshing, loved the herbs and sauce, and the duck wasn't very gamey. It looked enormous but because there's a good amount of vegetables, it's not that hard to finish.Noodle soups: we got one with rice noodles and one with vermicelli. I believe they used the soup that they cooked the duck in for this so the soup itself was a little gamey, along with some of the giblets and other things they added to the soup. I thought this was fine but not a stand out item.

So many duck dishes! That's what we came here for on a Sunday evening. Half duck with rice on the side, and duck salad which came with soup. They serve some good vietnamese hainan style duck here, lots of meat, lots of flavor... and also lots of leftovers. Though we ordered for takeout, there was plenty of indoor seating in a clean and inviting space, and all of the employees were friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant. To add to our positive experience, our order was ready in just 5-8 minutes, so we could head home and enjoy our delicious dinner without delay.

First time to try this Viet restaurant located at the heart of Little Saigon. Restaurant specialized in duck and chicken soup and combo dishes. I wasn't even aware there such a thing for Vietnamese restaurants. At any rate , we tried the combo duck dish and soup and the chicken soup. And for appetizers we tried the shrimp dish. Appetizers wasAwesome, first time to have that dish and it really great .Dried crunch shrimp on top of sticky pillowy rice cake . WeFinished all 12Little plates. The duck combo dish came with eggs noddle soup and duck salad. Same with the chicken. It was seasoned well , broth is clean , both to salty and greasy. It was one of the best Vietnamese soup we've ever had. A must try restaurant when in Little Saigon area.

No frills small Vietnamese restaurant. This is our family's go to for banh beo. We order trays and trays of these when we come here as a group. Service is always super quick. I've been spoiled and have always come with someone that speaks Vietnamese, but I don't think the language barrier is a problem here as the menu has photos of everything! Besides the banh beo, I also highly recommend the duck salad. We normally get the combo with the porridge. So good!

**CASH ONLY**Been eating here since I was young and the food tastes just as good as I remember. The staff is nice and the food comes out promptly. Haven't tried their banh bot loc but their duck salad and duck noodle soup is excellent. I like getting mine with vermicelli noodles but thin rice noodles are an option as well. Their sauces are so delicious and generously garlicky. The duck is succulent and not tough or dry.The restaurant gets decently busy. Seating and parking is a bit limited, but you can park in the Century mall lot and walk over.

All the duck dishes you can think of are found here! They give you generous portions of duck. They cook the duck to the perfect texture- soft but chewy. The chicken is super good too! They call it the "walking chicken" or "ga di bo" because it has chewy meat, a favorite in Vietnam. It seems like a family run business because we saw the staff having lunch when we came in. Very friendly staff. The only thing is the restaurant is not very well lit and not that clean. We asked for extra bowls to share our food and we could see that there was still stuff on the "clean bowls". They blamed it on the dishwasher but I think someone just manually mass rinsed a bunch of things. If you can get passed that, this place has good and authentic dishes. The owners are from Hue

Ah a great Vietnamese hole in the wall, mom and pop shop - of course it's cash only! A friend came to town and once every trip makes time to visit this shop. The waitress took our orders and the food came out shortly after. The dishes are simple, homey and yet super flavorful. I got the duck noodle soup which you can also change the specific noodle you preference. They also have a combo deal with the duck salad that is eaten with sweetened garlic dish sauce. The duck is always cooked to be tender and juicy ~ delicious!
