We visited Vishnuji Ki Rasoi in Sunnyvale, CA, for their weekend buffet. The variety of dishes was decent, showcasing a mix of traditional Indian flavors, but the experience was a bit underwhelming. We arrived later in the evening, and it seemed like the timing affected the food quality. Some dishes lacked the freshness and bold flavors we were expecting, and a few items appeared to have been sitting out for some time.A highlight of our visit was the thoughtful gesture of offering paan to each of us at the end, which added a pleasant and refreshing touch to the experience. Additionally, the restaurant is located in a convenient area with ample parking spots available nearby, making it easy to access. While the ambiance was welcoming and the service fine, the food's quality during our visit didn't quite meet expectations. Perhaps an earlier visit could yield a better experience.

Good food and lots of options, the portions were also great and we had leftovers even after sharing between all of us. However disappointed that I tried to use my yelp checkin coupon and they said the iPad was broken even though we paid on the iPad? The service was good though and the staff were friendly. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner and the electric seat cover switch did not work. I wish there were more dessert options!

I recently tried Vishnuji ki Rasoi and was blown away by the authentic flavors of Nagpur. A friend from Nagpur introduced me to their signature dish, Patodi Rassa, and it did not disappoint. For anyone craving genuine Maharashtrian cuisine, especially Nagpuri specialties, this place is a must-visit. I ordered Zunka Bhakri through DoorDash, and both the Bhakri and Zunka were delicious. Didn't enjoy the kothimbir Vadi texture as it was not properly cooked and was a bit doughy.Don't miss out on trying their Patodi Rassa

I went to VKR after couple of years. They have made all the dishes less spicy which is really good for kids. Food is delicious and they come to the table to serve rotis and poori which makes the experience very enjoyable. Neat and clean.

The place is dirty. The service was lacking in so many ways and the food was ok ! I would not recommend the place to anyone.

Absolutely delicious! The paneer butter masala was not heavy or too creamy and the rajma was top notch. I love their am ras with their hot puri and their mysore pak was definitely different than the ones from Calcutta (at least the ones I've eaten before). Their service was quick and efficient and I love their causal ambiance. I will come be back!

OrderedBuffet : 2/5Pav bhajji : 4/5Thalipeeth : 3/5Sweets : 4/5Will order again : 2/5, pretty Meh place considering the buffet price.Been to this place a couple of times now, both times the food was underwhelming and not what is advertised.Their appetizers consistently run out, and are either replaced with something not quite good or not replaced at all.The main dishes are ok, nothing special, limited in choices, nor very flavorful, always lacking salt. The sweets are pretty good actually.Their pav bhajji stall was a disappointment, since no one was there to serve hot and toasted pav's.The prices are pretty high, 20$ for an adult buffet and they charge $15 for kids buffet, making the place really not worth it. Putting it on our "Not Again" list.

We went here after our trip to the temple. Did not realize it was a veggi buffet which is what we were looking for.The food was on point, felt home cooked. And the fresh puris and rotis hit the spot... Highly recommend it if looking for that home cooked meal.. without putting the effort.
