This review has been a LONG time coming (proud returning customer here)!! I have had so many wonderful experiences at Vida, from personal get togethers to several corporate events. I've had nothing but excellent experiences working with Camila, Nicolas, and others on the team over the past year or so.On location:- They have a really beautiful spot that's centrally located in downtown MTV. They're right next to a free public parking garage, with it being less than 5 minutes to walk over.- The interior is colorful, warm & comfortable with various well-designed spacious. You can book semi-private spaces that range from groups of 30-70 guests, and have an equally great experience as coming in a regular small group. On food:- La comida siempre es deliciosa! It's always delicious and a fan favorite for all of my super diverse work teams. Feedback from my teams (even those who are from Europe/Spain originally), have shared that this is some of the best paella they've had. The croquetas de jamon, papas bravas, and pintxos morunos are some of the top favorites as well.- Added bonus, they are SUPER mindful and accommodating for dietary restrictions and have plenty of options for vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free folks.- Drinks! The designs are super aesthetic and tasty. They have their own special twists on classics and are very accommodating for unique requests. On service:- THE BEST. I have so many compliments for this team. Every person I've interacted with has been exceptional, courteous and kind.- Camila is such a great coordinator and partner! She's very attentive, professional and responsive. I've worked with her several times to manage private events, and have tons of respect for how she operates.- Nicolas is my original POC, and has always (and continues to be) incredibly kind, intentional, and communicative. I always appreciate his extra attention to make sure all our teams feel welcomed and comfortable!I could go on. True 10/10 here, I'll keep bringing my folks back and continue to rave about this spot. So, so good all around!

Tried this place again since I was craving tapas and have been having problems finding a good Spanish food place. My group and I liked most of our dishes, and I definitely enjoyed it more than my last visit. Paella, Mariscos and Carne (3.5/5) : both paellas flavors were pretty good, but would definitely get the Mariscos if you can only order one. Our rice was a bit soggy/overcooked and I wished the bottom was more crispy. Pulpo (5/5): best thing we had that night! Cut like butter and delicious- our whole group said we should've ordered one per personPan con tomate (3.5/5): it's exactly what you expect it to be. It was super mushy bread and they could've toasted it more beforehand, but not completely surprising since it's tomato on top. Not anything special, but nice palette cleanser as its flavors are simple.Pintxos morunos (5/5): all the seafood on this platter was perfectly cooked and the sauce that comes with it was super good Champinoes silvestres (5/5): this dish surprised us the most. The mushrooms were super well seasoned and tasted really good. Patatas Bravas (0/5): This should be a staple to every tapas place....and this by far was probably the worst patatas bravas anyone at our table has ever had. It looked like it was going to be crispy, but was so soft and grainy. The aioli on top was equally unenjoyable and criminal. Overall, pretty good tapas place that has improved since opening. Service is good and my group enjoyed our dinner!

4.5/5. This was great! I loved the cocktails. I enjoy fruit forward, tart drinks and both the Goyitas Mezcal and Pornstar hit the spot. The mezcal wasn't overly smoky, and the vanilla in the Pornstar was a good balance with the passion fruit. The food was very good! The octopus and the skewers were incredibly tender. The octopus could've been a little more charred, but the skewers in particular were juicy and flavorful. The tortilla de patatas was on par with other tapas restaurants I've been to, and we enjoyed the smoked salmon too (but nothing to write home about, as it was just like lox for breakfast). I liked the seasoning on the olives but didn't enjoy the pits! The service was good as the wait staff was friendly and quick, but maybe a little too overbearing. It also would've been nice to have plates spaced out a little more as we felt a little rushed. Thought the price point was reasonable for the quality!

This place is amazing! I absolutely love everything we ordered. The roasted cauliflower was super crispy and perfectly nutty, the salmon crudo was so refreshing, with crumbly tortillas chips, the eggplant with minced pork was tender and juicy. My favorite was the branzino whole fish, it was soooo flavorful and the fish meat was very delicate! I am a big fan!Our server was also trying to teach us speaking Spanish after I was throwing out a few Spanish words. We sat ourdoor, which was fine yesterday because it was warm, but they also have heaters, I believe they would turn on the heater if it gets chilly outside.

Great ambiance and friendly staff. came on a valentines day without reservations but they did have bar seats available. We ordered the burger, the steak skewers, the potato croquettes, and the salmon ceviche. Everything was pretty amazing, they had so many options of tapas to choose from, it was so hard to decide! We also got a bottle of wine to share. The burger, they couldn't cook it medium rare because they said the patty was too thin, but it was delicious! The steak skewers was full of flavor and I loved the sauce with it. The potato croquettes were nice and crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The salmon ceviche was probably one of my favorites and it came with crispy and thick tostada chips. The service was amazing as well, the servers and bartenders were all very attentive.

We came here for a spontaneous date night and had a nice evening. Viridiana gave us great service. She was friendly, honest, and we appreciated her input about the food. The staff clear tables quickly, which is nice so you have space for your tapas. The food presentation was great but I was expecting the flavors to be a little bolder and the fried artichoke was a little too greasy for me. They do offer a variety of vegetarian options.Inside they have fun ethnic music playing and TVs at the bar. Would like to come back next time for cocktails! However they do have good mocktails! They also have a patio for you and your furry friend!

Came here late on a Friday night and had a great time. One of the few restaurants open late at that hour and was pretty empty so there was great service, the waitress was very attentive and kept asking if everything was good and refilling our water. Food came out pretty fast too. We got the Albondigas which is meatballs to start and it was delicious. The sauce was amazing. We then got the chuletas de cordero which was lamb rack paired with a yogurt sauce. Fantastic - just wish there was more! And finally the paella de Mariscos which is the seafood one. Great flavor, almost too salty and juicy shrimp! Overall would recommend this place.

Went to Vida Tapas Y Cocteles for a special dinner with my partner and unfortunately was very disappointed by the quality of food. Let's start with some positives.. drinks were great! Loved the mezcal old fashion and sangria was also refreshing and flavorful. Now for food we got this mushroom flatbread which was decent but didn't have a lot of flavor. The paella de mariscos was the thing I was looking forward to the most and was very disappointing. The octopus was too chewy (my partner had to spit it out), and the prawns and clams all had a nice seasoning/helping of sand!! :( the texture of the sand in every bite really did it for me. Ending on a positive note- I didn't get her name, but our server was very sweet, attentive, and helpful! I would have given this restaurant 2 stars if it wasn't for her.

We went there for our anniversary date. It was crowded but was able to get last min reservation on a Friday night. The space is cute but gets noisy so if you're looking for a quiet dinner I wouldn't suggest this. They have outdoor seating too. Our server was really sweet and if I could give 0.5 stars more, I would for her.We ordered the drinks - house sangria and old fashioned mezcal. They both were great! I would go back for that. But food however was disappointing. The seafood Paella had sand bits in it. I know octopus is chewy but this one took a while to eat. And the flatbread was average, it could have caramelized onions to elevate the flavors- just oyster mushrooms, goat cheese and other cheese wasn't enough. I wanted to get the eggplant tapas but sadly they discontinued it.

The staffs were super friendly and really made us feel welcomed. Netty was the one who took care of us and she was just so sweet. Everything was pretty good, however, my one complaint would be that the croquette was definitely not very hot, which was a shame. The churros were amazing, which was a great way to end the night!
