Ume Chinese Fast Food

Conveniently located at the cross-street of First Street and Trimble Avenue inside a food plaza surrounded by businesses. You have your choice to order from a food station much like Panda Express. The difference is you can order dishes as well and milk tea. I ordered the combination chow mein and orange chicken. The orange chicken was soft and tasty which is better than Panda Express in the texture. Both their tastes rank the same. The chow mein was tasty but oily. I take tea or water to help wash down the food. Customer service was great. If you're in the area and are interested in Chinese food, stop by this place.

Terrible. Sweet and sour pork was hard. Could barely chew it. Flavor was mediocre and boring. Tastes below average.Kung Pao Chicken had no wow factor.Fried rice was somewhat okay, but barely great.Never coming back. Not worth a try at all.

TERRIBLE FIRST EXPERIENCE!!!! Don't know why they are rated 3 stars they need the least amount possible. I wanted to try a new spot for lunch before going back to work and I decided to drop in here to try it out. There was a gentleman ahead of me so it gave me time to think about what I wanted. Once he ordered,the lady who was serving asked me what I would like but quickly her attitude change when I was still deciding my entrees. Not sure if she was having a bad day. I asked for half rice half chow mein and then when deciding my 3 entrees she says with attitude " it's 3 items sir ..." and puts up the number 3. I'm not 5 years old I know how many it is or else I don't have picked the plate from the menu. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE !!!! THATS NOT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY IF ITS THEIR FIRST TIME. If I could put 0 stars I would !!!!

Not many of these little family owned fast Chinese food spots left in this area. They were welcoming and quick to serve me food. Highly recommended! Way better than Panda Express.

10 out 5 stars! It's crazy that this place doesn't have a better rating! The staff is SUPER friendly. The food was fresh, they were bringing it out freshly made. This Chinese food is so much better that any Chinese takeout in the Bay Area. It tastes fresh, not at all oily, has great flavor! The chicken is perfectly breaded and savory sauce for the orange chicken and sweet and sour pork! Aside from this, the restaurant itself is super clean!Would 10/10 recommend!!

Oh man, I really wanted to like this place since the staff is so friendly and the food is decent! Not too oily and very flavorful. I got the Beef Chow Fun and the noodles were chewy and cooked perfectly. It comes with onions, cabbage, and broccoli. Very fresh vegetables. I also got the Honeydew Milk Tea, which was pretty good for a Chinese takeout spot. Gotta love those guilty pleasure honeydew powder drinks from your childhood.Here's where the 2 star rating comes from... I just can't get past the fact there was a hair in my Beef Chow Fun! I was about 3/4 done with my takeout box when I saw it too. It was a small black hair, which is definitely not mine since I'm blonde. Very disappointed.It's conveniently placed near so many office buildings and tech offices in my area, so I may give them a second chance in the future.

I love the place and the price is affordable and they give a good portion of Wonton, chicken, and bbq pork. It is like I had before in Hong Kong before I move here! The owner speaks Cantonese which is awesome and he is so nice! The environment is great and quiet.

Good place. I didn't eat the standard items that were in the daily menu, but ordered a kung pao tofu off menu for pickup. The man was so sweet, asking how long I wanted it in, bc he wanted to make it fresh, and not sit around and get cold. It is a small business / I like supporting places where I can feel the hard work, love and passion of the people. Since I have work in the area for the next few weeks, I'm going to make it my go-to spot.

I ordered a wonton soup and beef veggies. They turned out much better than I expected. Foods taste fresh and not light. Definitely will come back.

This places deserves more 5 stars! The food was hot and delicious, the chicken and pork were perfectly crispy, the establishment is clean, and the guy who helped me out was so kind! It was my first time coming here and I will definitely be back. :)
