Trines Cafe 6

Trines Cafe 6 has been one of my family's favorite restaurants for many years. While we have tried everything on the menu each of us has a favorite dish that we tend to order over and over again. My wife favors their Chile Rellenos, my oldest daughter loves their Camarones a La Diabla, my youngest always orders Chicken Enchiladas and I am a huge fan of their soups (specifically Menudo and Cocido de Res). Portions are generous and service is excellent. Trines can count on our support as long as their doors are open.

Have been coming to this place for years and always consistently good. The food is good especially when craving some authentic Mexican breakfast to wake you up . Priscilla and her mom are always on top of everything and great service.

Early morning coming back from Morgan Hill, we needed coffee and breakfast. Stopped right in and it was the best breakfast with the friendliest service. Where can you find that nowadays?!? We were so hungry, I didn't get pictures of our delicious food. I got the Chilaquiles, and my sister got the Huevos Rancheros (it came with beans & rice). Plus you get chips and salsa (real salsa!) It looks small from the outside, but they have room for everyone here. Bring everyone you know, and ask for Licia, she's such a beautiful, inviting soul, she'll feed you good Mexican food!

Abuela first thing you say the moment you walk in!! From the decor to the smells it's like a visit to grandmas house and your bound to get the eats that match the smells!! With 5 legit grandmas working you're sure to get ample table visits checking on you making sure you are good and if you need anything else. On a cold rainy day we stopped in for the Pasole that they serve every day not just the weekend and it was perfect!! The broth rich and full of flavor with the perfect balance of hominy and meat! Paired with the usual accompaniment of cabbage onion lemon and oregano and chiles. A massive bowl to start the day yes please!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon, my fiancé & I were the only customers at the time so we were seated right away & had our order taken in a timely manner.We both had order a combo platter, I ordered #7 & he #1. Portions are good, not skimping out on anything, she even offered homemade corn tortillas, which is a must !! The whole vibe of the place is very home like, which I love, makes you feel as if you're in Mexico. Definitely will come back

I love coming to trines reminds of my grandma cooking and the beans and the chili rellanos are amazing and the cheese enchiladas are my favorites and great cooks and waitress I definitely be back

The pozole is so delicious. I only did takeout but it tasted very homemade and the chunks of pork were so deliciously juicy. Will definitely return. My partner got a burrito and said it was just ok.

Been coming here for years!! The food is just as I remember it, so good and delicious, the enchiladas are so cheesy and always a must when I go to Trines #6.... They are hands down the Best Trines in San Jose, love the family who owns the place too, they are so kinds!!!

Good authentic Mexican food. Important to support a local small family business. The chips and salsas are very tasty. That always tells me if the food is going to be good. My dad loves the cocido- beef soup w veggies My mom loves the bistek ranchero- spicy flank steak sautéed with jalapeños and red sauce. I love the hígado en cebollado- liver and onions. Very tasty and tender. My daughter loves the chicken flautas or cheese enchiladas.

This restaurant do not have English language on the Menu. It was all Spanish language. Which is super disappointing. I could not understand. I felt super stup*d myself with it. Their prices are super expensive! Long ago their prices was super lower but now wow! One taco costs $15.99?! Brain blowing! Burrito costs $18.99?! smh! Their area looked clean and tidy. Good Looking place. I notice their services looked friendly too. Yeah Everything changed now than before. If you don't understand spanish, Avoiding going there at all! Now I can't have their tacos. Smh!
