Came here for a second time to celebrate Galentine's and it was even better than the first. Bartender was absolutely the sweetest when we were ordering drinks as we waited for a table, service is always quick and efficient and I love how even for a busy and lively restaurant it didn't feel crazy! It really gives the feeling of a family Italian restaurant and it's easily somewhere I will continue to go again and again. Overall food is amazing across the board, definitely larger portions so I would be prepared to have a decent meal or take some leftovers home. Friends had the affogato and I had tiramisu for dessert which were both phenomenal. Salads are great and I've done a variety of the pasta dishes which were also fantastic. They also have table bread! Definitely a busy place so I highly recommend snagging a reservation beforehand.

Pasta!! If you are looking for a place to enjoy a nice pasta dish with some friends or on a date, this is a great place to go. We came here with a group of 3 on Wednesday night at 6:30pm and while we had a reservation, there was still space in the restaurant that we could have just walked in.I wish I would have taken a picture of the restaurant interior but I was too busy looking at their wall decorations and memorabilia. They have some neat pictures and jerseys hung up, and along with the lights, the ambiance is very enjoyable. The restaurant itself can get a bit loud (it is not a huge room), but the spacing is big enough between tables that we never felt like we had trouble talking to each other. For the service, while we did get everything we needed and in a very timely manner, I did not feel the friendliest vibes from our waiter. It felt a bit too rushed for my liking and not as natural of a conversation as I have felt in other places. While I did not get a drink myself, my partner got the Bacio al Lampone. We usually are really into fruity drinks of this type but we found this one a bit too lemony for our taste. Enjoyed it at the time but probably would not order it again. We started off by getting our complimentary bread (which I always love!) which I found to be particularly good. I even scooped up some of my remaining sauce after the meal with the extra slices. Between the three of us, we ordered two Carlesimo and one Gnocchi. The gnocchi was very good. The pasta had just the right texture and the sauce was rich and tasty. I found the rigatoni in the Carlesimo to be a little too al dente for my taste, but if that is your thing, this might be the dish for you! I think the portions were on the smaller side but this may be expected for this type of restaurant.Overall, we had a good meal and would come back to try some of the other dishes if we had a chance!

Came here with my friend for dinner on a Friday night at 6:30 PM with reservations. It's not a huge restaurant, so I would recommend reservations for more people, though some people had success with walk-ins if they were smaller parties. The tables are a little short, so our waiter had to crouch down a bit to talk to us.We got the Carlesimo and Il Diavolo pastas to share, which our waiter told us were his favorites on the menu. The complimentary bread was fluffy with a nice crust and served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Our dishes came out in legitimately 5 minutes -- fast service! Maybe it's because they don't have such an extensive menu. The waiter was happy to grate a generous amount of cheese on top of both pastas.Carlesimo: 5/5, so creamy and the sun-dried tomatoes were so delicious! The rigatoni, though a bit thicker than I was used to, was perfectly al dente.Il Diavolo: 5/5, my favorite of the night. A nice kick of spice from the sausage balanced the smooth, creamy burrata. An elevated classic dish.Overall, I loved the casual yet classy ambiance of the restaurant. Even the plates were so pretty! The staff were all warm and welcoming as well. Would come back!

Loved this place so much! Came to celebrate my birthday yesterday and the staff was so nice. Our food was delicious, and the portions are generous. The ambiance of the restaurant is just lovely and very lively. I will definitely be back to this place. They brought me out a tiramisu at the end for my birthday and it was such a sweet gesture!

If you're craving pasta and want to treat yourself, this is the place! Came here on a Friday evening with a friend, and although the place was a bit busy, since we had reservations, they had our table ready and sat us down immediately. As soon as we were at our table, a server came to give us the menu, explain it, and ask if we wanted some initial drinks (we were also served water simultaneously). They were very attentive; every time our water cups were at half, they would come by and refill them, which I appreciated. We ordered the Carlesimo and the Il Diavolo. Both were great! The pasta was al dente and full of flavor. They also brought some complementary bread to accompany it. The pancetta on the Carlessimo was the star of the plate; it was perfectly crunchy and complemented the rest of the ingredients. The Il Diavolo was sauce-heavy since it has tomato sauce, but it mixes very well with the sausage and onions. In comparison, the Il Diavolo was a bit more spicy than the Carlesimo but still delicious, and it is important to note that the spice level didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. Although we didn't have any drinks, they did have an extended selection of wines and liquor, if you're into that! They also had some cocktails and mocktails on the menu. This place is definitely on the pricier side compared to other pasta places in the area, but if you're looking for a nice place to sit down, talk, and enjoy some high-quality pasta and drinks, this is your place! Also, the service was so fast, we were in and out in less than an hour.

The gnocchi was excellent. Pork dish was tasty but the meat wasn't tender (quite tough). Not pictured was a Caesar salad and bruschetta which were delicious.Quaint restaurant that takes you back to simpler times. The service was excellent! Looking forward to going back soon.

Well, was disappointed after seeing so many great reviews started shrimp scampi was met with tough old texture shrimp. Not a good way to start. I'll give them this, they took it off our bill. The Vongole was average, and similar to what I've had elsewhere. The Snapper was very fishy and way over-capered. The pluses were a great server and the espresso martini I suspect the fact that it was packed and only one cook and one sous chef does not lend itself to the food being what it should be.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Snuck in a last minute reservation on All-Star weekend and it still lived up to our expectations, even after all these years! Classic Italian dishes and style. Highly recommended.

This place was so good! Nice, small neighborhood spot for some really great food. We went with the two pastas and a main to share between two people. They also give you a small bit of bread to start with!- carlesimo, nice savory pasta with tomato sauce and pancetta. This was a must! So flavorful- vongole, this was good with lots of clams so nice if you like seafood. Thought this pasta could have used a little more sauce / salt - Mary's chicken breast; great way to complete the mains. The chicken was so tender and went well with the sides We topped it all off with some tiramisu and their almond gelato cake. Both were fantastic!
