In terms of service, the servers were nice. I believe one of them was training and but had a great attitude throughout the night. Food came relatively quicklyAmbiance was pretty mellow, wasn't too loud (granted it was a Monday night) but it has a cozy feeling. Although music was okay I got the Parma pizza. (I love arugula) overall the pizza was decent. I was really excited to eat it. But as I took a bite I realized the pizza was soggy. Which was a little bit of a turn off but I still ate most of it.Besides that, I'd try tramonti again very solid

Tasty, clean, quiet environment but still family friendly. Came with my three year old for lunch, we both enjoyed our meals. Appreciated that our server took the time to interact with my daughter and encourage her to place her own order. Private lot & easy parking, too.

Let's get this out there first: the portions are HUGE. No seriously. All four of the entrees could easily have fed two people each. No other review seems to have mentioned that so we were shocked. Generous leftovers for lunch the next day.Summary: cozy throwback eatery with super friendly staff and solid food up and down the menu Details: first impression is the room is smallish but it's surprisingly spacious with seating on covered side and back patios. We had a dedicated server but everyone seemed to help out throughout the meal. One staff was still taking our order while another showed up with the bottle of wine we just asked for. Super nice and super efficient. One drawback: the acoustics aren't great so can be hard to hear each other.Cauliflower gratin: rich, bordering on decadent. Finished under broiler. Perfect to share with four but two of us would probably finish it. Burrata & beets: Burrata was silky (as it should be). Worked better with bread than pita (although pita was excellent)Olives: generous portion. Contains pita. Meatballs & polenta: solid but not crave worthy. marked as gf but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Lingcod Portuguese: did I say this was huge? Must have been the whole fish with a full potato as wedges. Even a large appetite couldn't finish it.Tartufo pizza: two mushrooms (porcini, cremini) amped up with fontina and white truffle. veggie and expertly cooked.Lasagna: what lasagna should be. Layers and layers of cheesy goodness but somehow delicate. I had my leftovers for breakfast :)Tramonti is an inviting, cozy family-run restaurant with good wholesome food.

For the price, it was quite disappointing. The minestrone soup might as well have been out of a can--practically no difference in taste. The beet and burrata appetizer had zero flavor. It's like the chef here does not use salt at all to bring out flavors. The pizza was the sole saving grace--indeed very good. As for the service, I would say it was pretty lackluster-- I felt ignored for prolonged periods of time. Granted, it was very busy but still. The decor is cozy-- I'll give them that.

I had heard so much about this restaurant, but honestly was pretty disappointed. The food is okay, it's not horrible, but it is also not the best pasta around. I would say it's pretty overpriced based on the food and service you get, but honestly the ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely stunning!! The interior was beautiful and the drinks were very pretty as well.If you do end up coming here, I wouldn't recommend getting the pesto pasta. It's only, but definitely not the best pasta. It has potatoes and asparagus in it, and personally I really was not a fan of that.

We went here for my daughter's 13th birthday. We had a 6:30 reservation, but our table wasn't ready. The kids were happy to go and hang out in the game room to pass time. The table was ready by 6:40. Our waitress was friendly and went out of her way to curate a custom drink for the kids which they LOVED! We ordered very quickly... penne alla pescatora, beef ravioli, pepperoni pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, and spaghetti. Everything came out quickly and hot! We loved it all. My penne dish was amazing! Can't wait to go again next time we're in town!

Food, service and ambiance were great. We had the trofie al pesto, chicken parmigiana and lasagna, both delicious but la Lasagna was chefs kiss! Definitely returning.

Went there for a lunch with a friend. Fresh bread was great. We shared a caesar which happens to be my favorite in all of Santa Cruz., crisp lettuce, just enough dressing and crunchy croutons and a few anchovies. My friend doesn't care for them which left more for me. I had their Carbonara and my friend the short rib ravioli, both were amazing. Our server Nick recommend wines for each dish and they didn't disapoint. An amazing place to catch up with a friend over lunch.
