Tin Fu Restaurant

Hubby and I were out grocery shopping and were getting really hungry. We didn't know what to get and was thinking about what was around. We looked and saw Tin Fu right in front of us. We decided to look up them up on Yelp and take a look at their menu to see what they offer. After looking, we decided to order! It doesn't look much on the outside but inside was really clean. The staff were so kind and patient while we looked over the menu to see what we wanted. We ordered 2 different combo plates and 2 drinks. The wait wasn't too long and in about 15 mins, we were on our way home with our food! It was so delicious! It's so hard to find a good Chinese restaurant, but I'm so glad that Tin Fu is just down the street from us. I ordered something for my mom during another visit and she loves it! She's been ordering from them whenever she craves Chinese food! Can't wait to go back!

Not sure what was up with their phones, but in our most recent experience here, we were trying to phone in an order for delivery, but the line was either busy, or wouldn't connect. We tried many times bc we were desperate for some wonton soup. Eventually they picked up, but said they didn't have a driver for delivery, so we had to pick it up ourselves.We ordered wor wonton soup, fish w/ black bean sauce, and walnut prawns. Sadly we weren't impressed with any of the dishes. The soup was just ok. The fish was mushy in contrast with the large crunchy vegetables. The walnut prawn batter was heavily breaded and soggy.

Tin Fu has been around for the last decade and going strong! I've been there for both their morning dimsum and dinner, and the food was fresh, tasty, and at the right temperature. If you are going for dimsum, I'd recommend ordering out and eating elsewhere as the restaurant gets super busy during brunch times. Otherwise, dining in is still a good option; the restaurant is clean and the service is usually good.

Tin Fu always does a great job with their party trays, though they prefer that you pay in advance. They prepare it fast & it's yummy! Can't go wrong with their fried rice & chow mein.

My new go-to Chinese restaurant in Hayward still amazes me with tasty dishes. My plan moving forward is to try a new dish everytime I visit. Not only are the dishes tasty but their dining room, that was recently updated, makes my experience even better just from that alone. Lastly, kuddos to the lone server. This young lady greets me with a smile everytime and is always checking in, asking if there was anything else needed so to me Tin Fu has well earned and is worthy of the 5 star rating.

Haven't dined in yet, but smaller restaurant. Seating space seems clean and tables arranged well for group gatherings or individual. Wonton noodle soup is the go-to call to order take out usual. Not overly seasoned plus well portioned for the price.

Delicious! Really good food. Calamari is not do overcooked. Dry fried ribs are flavorful, as well as a chow mein..... would recommend

I FINALLY found a Chinese food spot by my house that I like after a year and a half of moving to Hayward!!! The customer service is so friendly, my stomach didn't hurt, and I wasn't disgusted when I took a bit of my food!! I'm normally a chow mein girl butI had a craving for pork fried rice with Hunan chicken and orange chicken. they did not disappoint

The combo fried rice is really good. It has the authentic wok fried taste. Full of chicken and beef along with 2 pieces of shrimp which more would be better. The Mongolian beef is super good. It's soft yet has a slight chewy texture. The sauce is perfectly seasoned. The onions, jalapeños and green onions super good. The servings are big in my opinion and could serve up to 2 people. I spent $28 along with a drink. Not bad these days.

This place was my go to but I think they might have changed owners plates are a lot smaller and doesn't taste the same. Even the people taking orders are not friendly.
