The Pho Cabin truly lives up to its unique name, offering an unexpected but delightful fusion of cozy mountain aesthetics and Vietnamese cuisine. The star of the show is their breathtaking pho. The broth is crystal clear yet profoundly complex, with notes of star anise, cinnamon, and charred ginger dancing on your tongue. Tender slices of beef practically melt in your mouth, while the rice noodles maintain perfect texture throughout. Each bowl has a generous mountain of fresh herbs and bean sprouts arranged like a little garden on the side. The cabin atmosphere makes this place unique--pine paneled walls and a stone fireplace in the corner--and it's the perfect spot to warm up with a steaming bowl of pho on a chilly day.Friendly service and reasonable prices round out the experience.A unique gem that proves great pho can feel right at home in a cabin setting!

10/5/2024The Pho Cabin200 State StLos Altos, CA 94022I went there for an early bowl of Pho on a Saturday evening and got seated immediately. It's a cozy street corner location with a clean table and chair setup. We have tried to dine here before but there was always a line to get in and at least a 15 minute wait time. The menu fits on one side of letter size paper and the beef selections featured only lean cuts.I ordered the Brisket Pho which was brought to me promptly. The beef was indeed lean and plentiful. The broth and noodles were good, nothing special.Service was great and I guess it's popular for the lean beef selections with the wait times due to the limited seating. I prefer fattier cuts so I'll repeat if Wifey insists. Free city lot parking is nearby and usually available.

I service was REALLY bad. I was waiting for over 15 mins and no one even acknowledged me. There was one table available but it wasn't clean upped yet. So I Waited and waited. One guy was working and was busy getting receipts and water but didn't even bother to let me know he will be helping me soon. Then after 15 min, 2 more ppl came after me and after 20 min of waiting told us to sign the waiting list. By that time 90% of the tables left. I left and the lady who came after me left as well. I had their pho before and I find it to be too salty but being a rainy day thought I'll try this place again. Bad idea. I'll goto the other pho place down the street. Not planning on returning here again.

I really liked the chicken pho! The ingredients were fresh and the broth had a wonderful flavor. The servers were very kind and accommodating. A small but quite popular place! Will definitely be back!

Ordered everything pho and grilled pork vermicelli. They both are pretty good. Very generous with the meat portion. Service is fast, friendly and no frill. We sat outdoor since the weather was very pleasant. Overall, I will come back if I miss pho, which is going to happen soon as the weather gets colder

Closed on Mondays and Sundays. I usually order for take out when I'm in the area for lunch and craving fresh Vietnamese food I go here. I've tried:- Chicken phò- Wonton soup (no noodle)- Grilled Pork Spring rolls- Crispy Spring Rolls- Shrimp Spring Rolls - Grilled pork vermicelli bowlI enjoyed all that I've ordered and found customer service friendly and efficient. I usually call my order in as I've found all website roads lead to confusion with menu options and pricing. There's outdoor seating and the indoor seating seems to be a former restaurant that they've adhoc'd into a cozy Vietnamese cabin experience.

Solid Vietnamese food in Los Altos. We got a vermicelli lemongrass chicken bowl, an order of the grilled pork spring rolls, and an order of chicken wings. Everything tasted great. Chicken wings were crispy and flavorful, the spring rolls were a balance of flavorful grilled meat and fresh, crunchy veggies and herbs, and we loved the lemongrass chicken and the dipping sauce with the vermicelli bowl. Appetizers are super sizable so we ended up taking quite a bit home for later (not complaining!). Pleasant outdoor seating and attentive service.

This is my go to Vietnamese spot when in the Los Altos area. The staff here are super friendly and the food is delicious! Two of my favorites are the Seafood Pho and the Pork and egg roll vermicelli. Really just depends on my mood (and occasionally the weather). Both are tasty, good sized portions, and worth the price. They have a cozy indoor dining area, as well as some outdoor seating with heaters in the winter and umbrellas for the sunny days. If you're in Los Altos and in the mood for Vietnamese, this is the place to stop in for sure.
