It's a small hole in the wall place that I love. I want this place to keep going because the food is so good. Try the papaya salad. (Refreshing and delicious when paired with the pad Thai)Try the pad Thai. So good, the noodles aren't dry but they're not too wet with sauce either. The drunken vegetables are great. Beware, for those not used to spice, it's spicy, better ask for it to be mild or medium spice. The sauce is hella good that we were eating it like it was soup lol. You could sop it up with some rice.We will be back! And the prices were reasonable!

Update review for 2025 !Food is 4 stars and very Affordable Thai food offerings and still one of the good eats in the area. Kai Yang chicken and the Panang Beef is a must try here. Home cooking vibe and authentic Thai Food so delicious and only thing they need improve on is cleaning the obvious areas that needs attention and yes the restroom cleanliness is a must and this can get more than 4 stars if inly they pay attention to wiping that doors store front and areas restrooms etc. . Ratings are for always an over all experience and we have been going here since it opened and seen changes to date but the food is on point.

I wanted to try a new restaurant in my area and stumbled on this. This place isn't new just never been. I always drive by it but never thought to give it a try. This restaurant in right by Island Pacific and Luisa and Sons. This complex is pretty old and worn down, you can see the wear and tear on the building and in the parking lot. Went in and it was small and quiet. We sat down and got eaten by the booth chairs. lol I am guessing they are pretty old. After quickly looking at the menu, I decided on BBQ chicken, got chicken sate for appetizer and I can hardly remember what my bf got. It didn't take long and order came out. After first bite I wasn't impressed. Chicken was soo dry that I had to keep dunking it in sweet chili sauce. It also seemed like maybe it's been sitting a while. The sate chicken was also pretty dry. The rice was okay. Overall food was okay. Everything was pretty cheap compared to many other restaurants in the bay so I wasn't really mad about the whole experience. Staff was kind and attentive.

We really enjoyed this small local restaurant! Found it through Yelp and decided to try somewhere new. Staff was so kind and even played the flute for my friend since we were celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious and they were great about accommodating to our food allergies/preferences. We felt like the prices were great as well.

Thai BBQ is a modest strip mall eatery with an affordable menu of Thai dishes. We started with the Papaya Salad, a sweet, sour, salty mixture of shredded papaya/carrots with green beans, tomatoes, cabbage, shrimp, and crushed peanuts, all in a fish sauce dressing. The Monster was an amusingly named dish made of grilled shrimp mixed with lime juice, chili paste, cucumber, onion, and herbs, served over a bed of chopped lettuce. Finally, we had to try the Kai Yang, or BBQ chicken, a half grilled chicken served with a sweet and sticky house sauce and shrimp fried rice. The chicken was disappointingly flavorless and slightly burnt on the outside, and while it was fine for grilled chicken, there wasn't anything "Thai" about it. Overall, the flavors here weren't particularly authentic and left something to be desired.

I went here with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day, and it was his treat. I am so happy because it did not disappoint. One of my all-time favorite dishes is pad Thai, and we asked the staff to make it extra spicy, which they did perfectly. The dishes were very authentic and delicious. The location was a bit unexpected, being next to Island Pacific, and I didn't think there would be a Thai restaurant there. The complex is nice but feels a bit secluded. However, the parking is great, and the food was excellent. I also love that it's very close to home, making it a convenient spot for us.

We always come here whenever we have a craving for Thai BBQ chicken or ribs. It is located next to the Pacific supermarket in Union City. The service is fast and quick. We ordered our favorite Thai BBQ chicken together with a combination chow mein. We also had their Thai iced tea. The BBQ chicken came with half a size of chicken with rice. It also came with sweet sauce for dipping with the chicken. I liked this Thai BBQ and the serving is huge. The chicken is tender and juicy. The combination chow mein has chicken and beef with noodles. Whenever we come here, we always enjoy their Thai BBQ.

We lost electric power before lunch earlier so I decided to get some to-go from this place. We ordered drunken noodles which had a lot of seafood and vegetables. They were not stingy with the ingredients. We also got shrimp rolls and fish cake. The shrimp rolls were crunchy and I find the fish cake a little salty.

my family and i loveeee the food here, you can't get that smokey and authentic flavor and char on thai bbq anywhere else! and the shrimp? don't even get me started: juicy, plump, and has a great texture and bite to them every time we ordered them and are a must have in the fried rice! this restaurant is located in a small plaza among other restaurants and a filipino supermarket, and there's plenty of parking. usually when we go, there's not many people sitting down to eat inside the restaurant which means it's pretty quiet inside. however, there's so many people who come for to-go's and pickup orders, i can definitely see why. the prices aren't that bad, ranging from $11+ to $15/$16 per item (from what i remember). they also have lunch/dinner combos during certain times too. you have to come here if you love thai food or sala thai! thai bbq is almost better than sala thai in some ways or equally as good, make sure you come and try this place out!
