This place is awesome! We got here early and picked the seat at the bar to watch the chefs make the rolls. We got to talk to them and learn about their rolls, such a fun experience.We got the crazy Chris roll, salmon Express, salmon lover, and honey moon. All tasted super fresh, and they don't douse it in sauce which is nice so you can enjoy the flavor or the fish.The honey moon was awesome, the combo of tempura shrimp crunch and fish on top with a little sweet sauce. This is a very late review, my partner and I have been going here for 2 years. Their rolls are nicely portioned and always tastes good. Service is always great, if you need anything you can always ask. I've only recently tried their bento boxes and they are pretty good! They always play kpop as their background music. To start, a bird flew in just before I got there. They handled getting it out well and safely. It was heart warming to see how much they cared about not having it in the restaurant but also about getting it out safely without a fuss. They were gentle and kind and effective. The same can be said for their food. They care a lot. The rolls are large and hard to eat in one bite. But if you bite them in half, they will fall apart. I got the Precision Roll which was good. I also got the Vege Roll and while I loved the components, it did not feel cohesive. Their Nigori? On point. The cucumber and avocado rolls, a surprise shining star. Both of those rolls had an abundant amount of cucumber or avocado. Delish. Ginger was definitely good as well. The edamame and miso were so on point, I could cry. Edamame is hard to cook to the right firmness and salt correctly and they nailed it. The ambiance was relaxing and fit with all the other elements: almost amazing but somehow lacking cohesion. Would definitely eat here again. Overall delish and may have missed the mark a bit, but definitely worth the price and the care that is so incredibly obvious.

Bixby, play "Fire" by BTS.That song would definitely describe our experience at this establishment. You begin your meal with free complementary miso soup and edamame beans. Unfortunately I could not enjoy this benefit because of my soy allergies, but the coworkers I came with did. They thought the soup was really good and the beans were great to start off their meal.Two of my coworkers ordered rolls and the third ordered a bento box. I ordered a Salmon Lover, which was a simple roll with salmon, rice, avocado, and imitation crab, but it was prepared so perfectly and the fish serving was plentiful. I was very full after consuming my roll. One of my coworkers ordered a spicy roll and was pleased by the sharp kick. All of my coworkers discussed how the portion sizes were extremely generous, the fish was high quality, and the service was quick and welcoming.But - oh no - how will we commemorate the fantastic experience without a Polaroid photo? They had a wall of Polaroids of their customers, and when we asked if we could take a photo as well, they responded that they had no film. It would have been great if they regularly stocked their film for parties that are eating for special occasions and want to commemorate their time there. It's alright; we will remember this experience mainly because of the delectable lunch we had - thick cuts of fish on your sushi that satiate your hunger and sushi cravings. They were playing Kpop on the TVs for entertainment. While at the restaurant, I jokingly said to my coworkers, "I will automatically give this restaurant 5 stars if they play BTS on their TVs." Right before we left, BTS' music video Fire appeared next on their playlist on their TV. However, this restaurant already deserved 5 stars without the BTS on their playlist. I'll be returning again and again.
