Came here today with my man, on a Saturday. So not sure if the vibe is the same during the week. Ordered: shrimp & steak plate , seafood soup, & a regular micheladaPrice: $75 and some change. This included a 3% charge for paying with a credit card. Service: quick, friendly Ambiance: it is loud inside. Can be a great thing or an awful thing. Great for celebrating. Music is loud. For a first date? I would not recommend if you're trying to talk to your date. Too loud to talk to the person across from you comfortably. But loud enough to want to sing with your friends. Outside it is much more quiet. Better if you're trying to have a more intimate experience. Will I come back? Yes. It was a fun time!

This place is near my parent's house they recommended this place to me they love it . This place is located off Monterey Rd busy street not to far from the downtown area. The inside was huge and very colorful with TVs everywhere like a lot of TVs and lights . They have live music you can pay for them to sing and play at your table. For food my friends got seafood stuff I'm allergic just let your waiter know if u are too . I got nachos and tacos my friend also got the huevos ranchers all the food was 10/10 . For drinks my friends got Micheladas with shrimp which they offer different kinds of Micheladas with more add ons . They also have margaritas and Hennychata which is what I got Horchata and a small bottle of Hennessy I have not had one of those since Chachos lol It was delicious! Our first waiter was nice and attentive. Overall we had a great lunch the food and drinks definitely hit the spot . I will be coming back when I'm in the area. Great vibes ..

I was there this past weekend and the food was great. I ordered some sushi and micheladas while listening to live music and getting exceptional service. Highly recommend! They offer indoor and outdoor sitting (with heaters).

Been a while since 2021, I had to and get my favorite Tacos De Pescado - Fish tacos. They changed the plating on those tacos Just the fish and hot sauce and the radish and grilled jalapeno to go with it. If you look at my pictures back in August 2021 they would put a lot of lettuce and tomato on top of the tacos and now it's BETTER without all of that nonsense. I ate 5 of them OMG!! LOL! Hijole Que Rico!! Went to NOM NOM city. The two waitresses were servicing EVERYBODY coming. They were awesome and fast and professional. They have new additional flat screens. I counted 11 and maybe more. This place will be hopping on any NFL Football game or Futbol soccer game. The seats outside are perfect. Prices are good enough to leave them a descent tip.

Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing ambiance here at Tequila's & Botanero!! I love this place! It was my second time here tonight and my family and I had a great time. I ordered the tequila's quesadilla with carne asada and a side of rice. So good! Their seafood is a must try here as well - my family ordered a shrimp dish and a fried fish dish and they were both delicious. The seafood is very fresh. The service is wonderful here! Our server was the sweetest along with all of the other staff whether it was to come check in to see how we were doing or a smile as they walked by. The ambiance is so fun! On Tuesdays they have karaoke and a DJ. The music is very very loud here so not a place to go to if you're looking for somewhere quiet and to have a conversation, we could barely hear each other over the music. We could even hear the music all the way down the street. Not sure if it's like this every night but we loved it!! This will definitely be a go-to spot of ours now! Highly recommend!

Second time going here and it still was OK. The hennychata taste really good, even just the horchata by itself it's good. I am not a michelada person, so I did not try it, but the camarones on it were good. I didn't like how they put Mango on basically every dish and I love Mango. The service was horrible. The waitress would walk near our table and see empty plates and leave them there (our table was full of plates with food). She did not pick anything up till the end when we were leaving. The ambience is good if you love loud music and are not there to talk to the people you went with. It is a good spot to go drink with friends and watch games. The food is OK with some dishes lacking flavor.

My friend who's from San Jose recommended this spot,she said that she's heard good things and that we should give it a try. we went in and it was perfect because they had a Banda! / Grupo which made the atmosphere's more enjoyable. Who doesn't love a nice live band. First things first we order a Michelada it was topped with two seasoned shrimp, a slice of Cucumber and a slice of orange the tequilas roll which was deep fried roll had tempura shrimp,Imitation crab, topped with their house made Mayo sauce this roll was very tasty. The Super botana was really good. A perfect plate to share. They did add a bit to much of pineapple slices but it was a delicious spicy plate. . Will I be back. Of course Oh they also brought us two shots on the house .

Friends and I were craving a super michelada with the shrimps. It was probably one of the best we've had. We also got some asada tacos and they were to me probably the best asada tacos I've ever had in SJ. The asada was juicy and not dry like some places and the seasoning or marinade was flavorful. Some taco places all you taste is the salsa and lime and the meat is dry. Service was great! The beautiful ladies as waitresses here are very sweet and always checks up on you.We sat outside in the back to enjoy the sunny weather. There's a lot of tables inside and a lot of people it's a cool spot for family or friends to hangout and enjoy good food and drinks. Definitely will be back!

Love this place! Food is good and their hennychata is worth a try. Every time I've gone there's mariachi playing and makes it a great place to eat. Service has varied but overall satisfied. If you are looking for a place to have a conversation, this isn't it. Their music is pretty loud and there's always folks singing along.
