First time here, and I really enjoyed experience! I came in the afternoon and was seated right away, even though we were waiting for a friend to arrive. I also thought the servers were friendly and attentive.I tried the original crossing bridge rice noodles, which is a bone broth soup with noodles and a variety of other ingredients. The flavor was great, and everything came together perfectly. I also really enjoyed the process of assembling all the ingredients, but if you're looking for a pre-assembled soup, they offer plenty of those options as well! The restaurant itself had a clean, simple, and bright atmosphere. Overall, I had a great experience, and I'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

Everything in your noodle soup comes on the side of the soup for you to add in. Feels slightly gimmicky but the presentation is nice. The soup bowl is insulated to stay hot longer, but without heat source so not hot pot exactly. I find this interesting because if they wanted to optimize maintaining heat, the bowl should be taller instead of so wide. I have a low tolerance for eating high temp foods so their design worked for me. I liked the flavors and meat. I think I'll skip the intestines next time, it's great without that add on already. Fast and friendly service.

Small restaurant that serves Chinese noodles and other small eats. Overall flavor of the food is on the lighter side so it's perfect for those who doesn't like food that are too salty or spicy. The noodles taste pretty much like what you would expect. Light flavors with a lot of chew from its toppings. However, the boneless chicken feet is absolutely mind blowing! If you're a fan of chewy textures with a crunch here and there from cartilage, this is absolutely perfect for you. You get to enjoy the chew and flavors without having to do the work of spitting the bones out.

This was my second time dining at 10 Seconds in San Mateo and in all honesty I'm not sure why they're only getting four stars. Perhaps the rating is somewhat diluted from folks who don't require gluten-free (rice noods) and are able to enjoy all the ramen and noodle options of the world :-)As the saying goes, "let food by the thy medicine" and that's it exactly what I feel happening when I dine in here. Had caught a cold a few days ago and I'm now coming on the other side of it but have a ton of congestion. The soup and food here was exactly what my body needed to heal. My first visit I got the chicken soup and it was 10/10. Today, I ordered the Number 1 original lunch special. I don't remember them having lunch specials so this is either new or I just never knew... for $17.99 I was able enjoy get an appetizer and a soup with meat. Let's start with their appetizer menu. The fungi friends (mushroom salads) are so healing - containing essential nutrients like magnesium and selium, amino acids, prebiotic like properties and the list goes on. Both times I visited, I made sure to grab some of the salads (wood ear and velvet mushroom) and both times the flavors did not disappoint. Today's original beef soup was perfect. I really enjoyed the Goji berries (anti inflammatory, antioxidants) and the quail egg. It may be more enjoyable of an experience for some, and one that folks repeat, if we had a checklist of free and premium sides that we wanted to order versus preset sides. The quantities of soup was smaller than regular menu size but I was able to eat enough there to fill me up and take some home to go. I really appreciate the rice noodles with the soups. It's so hard for gluten free folks to find ramen, udon and noodle spots so I am grateful 10 seconds in nearby! Ordering was done through an app, and came out very fast. There was one lady working and she was very attentive and kind. I had a couple questions and she answered them well and thoroughly. I came after the lunch hour rush so it was a little slower with just one other group dining, and one on their way out. The space itself is pretty large and feedback would have about the ambience is maybe change the music (sounded like some sort of theatrical music with high pitch) or turn it down a bit.

It's always nice to see Yunnan noodle dishes in the bays and ten seconds is no different. With great broth and fresh ingredients, this is an affordable and refreshing meal to have amongst the many options in San Mateo. I was especially surprised with their beef brisket, which was both flavorful and smooth! I would definitely recommend!

I'll give it a 3.5 round up to a 4. Ten Seconds has been in my bookmarks for a while, but my husband isn't much of a noodle soup kind of man so I kept this place on the back burner until it was time to hang out with my mom and I knew she'd be open to noodles and soup.It was a relatively quiet afternoon around 130pm on a Monday and it didn't seem like anyone was really working to seat guests so I followed a couple's example and seated ourselves with our menus. The menu is relatively easy to navigate and you can scan the QR code at the table to order.I think because it was a weekday they had lunch specials available so I opted for their original bridge crossing rice noodles. The idea was cute - everything comes separately from the broth and you control how much you add. Flavor seemed okay - the spam was an odd addition in my opinion. Overall, I'm not sure if this is better than having already put together noodle soup arrive or if we're going for almost like a "hot pot" feel where you add things in when you want to. 3.5 round up to a 4. It's not a bad choice on a cold winter day.

Soup!! Perfect for the cold / windy weather these days. There was a waitlist when I went, but its okay it was worth it!!It always seemed so fun to add your own items into the pot and the presentation was nice, so I am glad I tried it!You pick your soup and meat and anything else you want to add.I got the tomato soup with the beef brisket and it was goood!! I didn't expect it because it didn't seem like there was thattt much toppings to add, but once it is added all together, it's good! The beef was super tender and flavorful and the soup was also tasty! The pork one was different and good in its own way but I prefer my tomato and beef brisket heheBe careful not to burn yourself as the pot is really hot!I like the concept and it was good so I and would go again :)

Loved the refreshing way they serve the noodles--you mix everything in yourself! The flavors not anything crazy but it definitely makes the noodle soup, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing food and very friendly stuff, highly recommended. Yunnan rice noodles typically is very oily but I am pleasantly surprised the noodle broth is not oily at all and yet still very flavorful. My kids enjoyed the tomato soup base and the adults ordered the original. The stuff are very friendly and accommodating. Will be coming back!

This spot was just ok for me; I wasn't really a big fan of separating out every ingredient into a separate plate because I was going to end up dumping it all in anyway - so it just took extra space; but to each their own. The broth was tasty, and the beef as a standalone was alright (i don't think it really went together as a complete dish though). However, I was pretty disappointed by the popcorn chicken; it wasn't crispy and the taste was a but funky. I think it was furikake or seaweed, which for some reason threw me off even though a hundred other dishes I would love to sprinkle the seasoning on to.
