Taqueria Paracuaro

Late night tacos can be found on 13th St but make sure it's Paracuaro. The address listed here on Yelp is NOT CORRECT. It will send you past the little taco stand. If coming from Hedding St you'll see it on your left hand side, immediately after Club Maria (which has a food truck in the lot). This is a small walk to grill with all the basic fixings for a $3 street taco. The couple running it were very friendly. I'd recommend giving them your money for some bomb late night tacos.

Love this spot . So simple. So flavorful. Not greasy . You add your own fixings at the bar. The couple running the tacos are amazing and so friendly. Skip the fast food and come here !! 10/10

Late night super secret tacos, IYKYK. Cash Only. ($3 per taco). 4 is the right number of tacos. The sauces are amazing. This part of the review is a message to my white people, if this is your first time, be quick with the toppings station. This lady cooks fast AF, so the person behind you in line is already waiting for you to decorate your tacos, instagram don't care, but those of us who are hungry do.

First of all-- the owners are so nice! The food is amazing! Only place I'll get Al pastor tacos from. They're not greasy and the tortillas are the perfect amount of crispy. They're open late on the weekends. I just love this place. I like that they let u serve your own onions and cilantro. They always have grilled jalapeños and cucumbers for you to grab on your own also. And they always have 4 different salsas. All of them are

The best tacos I've ever had! They're so flavorful and not greasy like other taco places. The workers are very nice and the order is ready within just a few minutes. They have the toppings for your tacos so you can put as much as you want. I saw the man consistently fill them with fresh onions, cilantro, and lemons. Took my friends here and they also absolutely loved! I'm craving the tacos as I type this!

I'm not sure why these tacos are compared to Mexico lol there's not even one thing close to it. They aren't terrible but would I return? No probably not. The meat was your average meat nothing special nothing extremely flavorful. I didn't care for them at all in somewhat ways I feel like I wasted my money. For sure though these are not even close to tacos in Mexico and definitely not the best in San Jose.

AUTHENTIC, meat was juicy and NOT GREASY. Salsas were definitely home made and fresh vegetables no canned salsas here. Best spot on the street. Aside the food the owners were very sweet and welcoming.

I randomly came across this spot on my way home late at night and stopped to grab something because I was starving.I'm not a huge fan of street tacos usually either because I don't like cilantro and onions. I got a couple different kinds of tacos and noticed their toppings were out and you could add them yourself which I liked. The onions actually looked amazing so I added them and some of the sauce they had and was blown away, incredible tacos with very very flavorful meat. None of the taco shops on 13th street have meat as tender and flavorful as this spot. I'm glad I found their hours on yelp so I can go back!
