The staple items for my wife and I are the Prawn Quesadilla & the Fish Burrito! The garlic tortilla is unlike anything else we've had before from other restaurants and we don't feel like we ate a brick after the meal.No question whatsoever, this is the best spot for Mexican cuisine! (We've dabbled quite a bit at a ton of other non-comparable places)

3.5 rating rounding up! We usually stick to a few regular spots but decided to try a new place last weekend. This taqueria is located on el Camino so parking may be tricky - we lucked out when we went on Sunday during lunch and there were multiple parking spots. We tried the Al pastor super burrito and lengths California burrito. They charge an extra 50 cents for lengths which isn't bad but I was slightly salty that it was posted on their menu (transparency!!). Overall the burritos were decent but I felt that they weren't as flavourful compared to some other places. They have multiple flavors for their tortillas (wheat, spinach, chipotle) - we tried the chipotle but did not taste much of a difference. They also usually charge for chips but they threw in a bag for us which was nice!

Tacos were good and packed with meat & flavor; the Durango Nachos were also good (fries instead of chips); you will not go hungry! Thanks for the friendly service - definitely a good go-to spot.

I got the alambre and it was all that I ever wanted. Juicy steak, onions and peppers and it came with a generous portion of rice and beans. This was legit and so so delicious. I also took a bite of the "crazy burrito" and that was tasty. Very odd mix of ingredients but it was still so good.We ordered to go and the food was very fresh when it got home. I recommend this place because the food seemed fresh and flavorful. You'll find this place in El Camino and there's a bunch of new restaurants on this strip. I'm glad they added this place nearby because it'd be easy to drive to get food to go or to eat on the way somewhere.

Went for BreakfastFood - 5/5. Tortilla chips were fresh and light with the subtle sweet flavor of corn. It was perfectly paired with the salsa, which offered a large variety of flavors from vibrant and spicy to creamy and mild. California burrito was well stuffed with fillings that harmonized well for a delicious bite. Al pastor was savory with a hint of sweetness, the french fries were crispy, guacamole and sour cream added refreshing creaminess, and the tortilla was aromatic and full of garlic flavor. Salsa was excellent at adding a lively kick to the rich burrito, keeping your taste buds excited for every bite.Service - 4/5. Friendly service. Food came out quick and was brought to our table. Salsa bar was self-serve with the addition of having descriptions for each item.Value - 5/5. Burritos are reasonably priced in the low to mid $10s. The breakfast burrito is $10.50 and while smaller than the other burritos, is just as delicious and filling. Second location just as excellent as their first!Parking - Street (Free)

I had 30 seconds to put in my order. It wasn't a lot of time to analyze the whole menu so I went with this "crazy burrito" that sounded interesting. Since I wasn't personally there to pick up the order, this review is for the food only.First bite, I was pleasantly surprised. The "crazy" part of this burrito is that it has Cheetos and fries in it to give it a nice crunch. My protein of choice was carne asada. It was super well marinated and had a good amount of juice that oozes out with every bite. To top it off, the tortilla was toasted to perfection, bringing this whole package to the next level. I devoured most of it before I got the chance to take a better picture of it.I will definitely give their original location in San Bruno a try.

Amazing hidden spot in South San Francisco! Was recommended to come here by my co-worker, and was blown away by how good the food was. Chips were tasty, salsa flavorful, and the tacos!!! Got the 3 Quesabirrias crispy combo and loved how flavorful and juicy the meat was cooked. Came out very quickly and piping hot! They also had the juiciest limes I've ever seen....Staff had a fun sense of humor as well - overall a cozy and enjoyable joint!

This is one of my go to Mexican spots in the peninsula, it never disappoints! I've had it in person and to go, never had any issues. Their first location is in San Bruno on El Camino and it has a beautiful collection of succulents on their outside dining section. This location in SSF has street parking, that's not too bad. There's also a small parking lot on the street parallel to it as well. Came with friends recently and I got one of my favorites, the Camarones a La diabla. Definitely don't forget to hit the sauce bar they have, their light green sauce is my go to but they also have spicier options as well. Another few items worth mentioning that my partner always gets is their carne asada Durango nachos and their carnitas super burrito.

An offshoot or a failed parody? We used to eat at Taqueria Mi Durango on El Camino, but after the move we found out they have a second location. Is this an offshoot or a failed parody? I'll start by saying that the employee was very nice, smiled and left a good impression on our visit. The food was as wonderfully prepared as the first version of Taqueria Mi Durango. We were given chips and lots of jars for dipping sauces. The employee even asked if you wanted a drink with or without ice. I liked that it was less crowded, although the atmosphere is much inferior to El Camino.Overall, I would enjoy going to this place.
