Carne asada plate and a small rice water 27 bucks not worth cook it yourself. This place disappointed me .

Our favorite taqueria in Newark. Our favorite dish is the enchiladas with red sauce. Chicken or cheese. We also love the quesadillas and fish tacos. The workers are so nice and helpful too. We eat here weekly with friends and family

This review is for Saturday morning. Our first time and it was delicious. We had menudo- so so good! and huevos rancheros- delicious!The chips complimented the salsa, which I loved- perfect spice. We had coffee and honestly that made my morning, I had two cups. No servers but our cashier was so nice, she checked up on us with a smile. Everything tasted fresh, and authentic.Compliments to the cook. The taqueria was clean and nicely decorated. The music was traditional. They have a digital menu and we could appreciate their menu items. Total $43 total- which included 3 carne asap to go (great tacos) what a deal. Will return. Highly recommend.

My favorite Taqueria! They have the most authentic Mexican food in the area. They have pozole, menudo, Mariscos and traditional Mexican plates. Workers are very nice and tend to you quick. Food is fresh and food comes out quick

Decent Mexican food, in the same plaza as Big Lots and Home Depot a bit "hidden" off to the West side of the plaza where it is much quieter. The unique thing is they always have strawberry Aqua Fresca, can't think of any other local place that has it.Had the Al Pastor and Asada Tacos. The tacos are larger than normal so will fill you up better. The meat was fine, both of them tasted right just not as good as some of the more consistent local places like Limon. Cilantro is cut a bit larger than normal as well so sometimes you'll get a huge piece in your bite.They do give a slice of pineapple with the Al Pastor, most places omit this and its a nice complement to the pineapple marinade used on the meat.Our order was simple and we came in at 11 on a not-busy day. It took longer than average for our pretty simple order to be ready, about a 20 minute wait for 4 tacos.

I have been coming here for nearly 20 years, the food is flavorful, the service is always friendly and the ambiance has the classic taqueria feel, nice and clean. I always order the veggie tacos and nachos. But everything is good and they have the Mexican coke's

One of my favorite taquerias in Newark. The food is delicious, authentic, and fresh. Their al pastor is one of my favorites. Try their burritos and tacos, you won't be disappointed! I have seen they offer menudo & birria, but I've never tried them from here. I'm sure they're great.I will continue coming back!

Service was friendly. Food was flavorful loved the Cameron's a la Diabla, sauce had a good flavor. Also ordered the Pozole and quesadilla de carnitas. The chips they give you are nice n lite not a thick chip. Would definitely go back

The food is always fresh and all portions are large and generous . Service is always excellent!
