Have you ever had such a terrible, barely edible meal that you need to make up for it? I recently did and my only requirement: wallet-friendly. TACOS! Well, except for Taco Bell unless you want the Hershey squirts. While dining at a nearby resto, I saw Taqueria Las Delicias from the corner of my eye at the gas station. I noticed groups of blue collar dudes park their work trucks to grab lunch there. GREEN FLAG. Taqueria Las Delicias started as a catering business and currently, they have two taco trucks; one in Fuel Stop (Saratoga) and the second on Story Road (ESJ). M E N UTaqueria staples - Tacos, burritos, quesadilla, torta, and entrees (mole de polle, chile verde de puerco, chile colorado de res, etc). Menudo and birria available on the weekends. - Protein choices: Asada, al pastor, pollo, chorizo, carnitas, suadero, buche, tripas, cabeza, lengua, and shrimp.- Veggie choices: Nopales (cactus), mushroom, huitlacoche (corn smut), and flor de calabaza (squash blossoms).- Salsas: Pico, orange, avocado, tatemada (chipotle based), and extra spicy chili oil Cc's accepted. F O O DTACOS (depending on protein/veggie choice, $3-$3.50 each) Tacos are served on a double corn tortilla with grilled onions, serrano pepper, sliced radish, and lime: https://tinyurl.com/3ftvfk94Just an FYI, I read other reviews and saw pics of tacos made with handmade corn tortillas but our tacos didn't come with them.* Tripas: Tripe // 5 StarsThe tripas were perfectly cooked, deliciously rich and crunchy. No barnyard funk. * Suadero: Rose Meat // 5 StarsA tough cut of meat from the cow's belly and leg, you have to know how to cook it right to be enjoyable. They nailed it. Beefy and tender with crispy charred edges. Probably the best suadero I've tried so far. * Lengua x2: Beef Tongue // 3 StarsThe lengua was underseasoned and could have been more tender. I prefer lengua that's moist, meltingly soft. Tried two salsas: Orange (creamy, spicy, and addictive) and avocado (tangy, mild, slightly creamy) S E R V I C EFemale team was friendly and efficient. Our order was ready in about 5 minutes. A M B I A N C ENo tables or stools for sitting. There was a stack of wood pallets that we shared with other customers to use as a standing table. P A R K I N GCustomers parked at the adjacent plaza.Overall, Taqueria Las Delicias serves up great tacos and salsas. I rarely drive through this part of Saratoga so I'm glad I came across them.

Theres this very random taco truck in a gas station in Saratoga. We were about to go on a longer road trip, so decided to grab some tacos on the way down. For $3 for street tacos, these things better be amazing. Amazing they were not. They werent bad, but they're pretty small, not really that full of meat, and did not have the freshest cilantro or onions. The salsa was oaky with the green and red options. We tried pastor, lengua, and cabeza with lengua probably being my favorite. It was decently tender and a tad flavorful. If you get it to go, they do nicely wrap it for you. I'm not sure how often they stay in that gas station, but I would assume they would move around from place to place. I know Saratoga as a whole doesnt have great Mexican food, so if you're really wanting some, I guess this place would be good, but being located in Southern California, this place just isnt that great.

We love this food truck and visit every week since we discovered it. They stuff the burritos full of meat and the meat is high quality. And they are huge! Even my protein eating 18yo son can't finish the burrito in one sitting. We have tried the pastor, carnitas, carne asada, chicken, and mushrooms and all have been top notch. I've also tried the soft tacos and torta and everything is amazing.

I've driven by this place a couple times a week and I've always wanted to try it. I finally decided to go and it didn't disappoint. I parked at the Quikstop and proceeded to order 2 burritos, asada and al pastor. The burritos were loaded and both were super tasty. I tried the orange and the green salsa and both were flavorful. The orange was a bit spicier but flavor wise I liked the green better. They also gave me a side of grilled onions and serranos with no extra charge. If you've been on the fence or happen to pass by, give this place a try.

I ordered two asada tacos. Tortillas are homemade and they provide grilled onions and serrano peppers (spicy) upon request. The orange spicy salsa (not pictured) compliments the tacos. They have other salsas as well, but I recommend the orange one for asada and Al pastor tacos. I've been here a handful of times and it never disappoints. For the size and quality of the tacos, the price is more than reasonable. Highly recommend for a quick bite.

If you like tacos de tripa, these are the best I've had in San Jose. All the other tacos are amazing as well. You can never go wrong when ordering here. Great service, they are such nice people! 10/10 recommend.
