Taqueria El Dorado

So many restaurants make Chile Colorado with carne asada meat instead of stew or chuck meat. This place makes it right! I'm so excited to have found this place because I did not have a good Chile Colorado restaurant spot for 25 years! I work a mile away from here and I plan to eat Chile Colorado as much as I can to make up for my lost years. That's how good I think their Chile Colorado is.

Cheap, fast, and good! Love this place and the family packs are really great value! My usual are the flautas, crispy tacos, and enchiladas. My husband likes the soft tacos and the super burritos.

The food was so delicious and satisfying I really enjoyed the tamales and the enchiladas the sauce was so yummy and the there verde sauce was on point so flavorful I really really enjoyed this small little whole in the wall

Ordered a regular carnitas burrito no onion no cilantro I received a regular chicken burrito with onion and cilantro disappointed overall

This has become a favorite taqueria via door dash ordering due to the pandemic. It has good veggie options which I love, bc I'm a weird carnivore who chooses the veggie option much of the time. I have only ordered thru door dash, but I haven't been disappointed yet with what I've had. I love their veggie enchiladas & veggie quesadilla. I also like their nachos & taco salad with ground beef. I feel like I say this a lot but I am super picky with meat so I tend to go for the ground beef option when it comes to taquerias. I know it's super boring but at least I'm leaving the more exotic options for the rest of you carnivores!! Right? :) I I love how they are not stingy with their salsas, I get four of red and four of the green. And a nice amount of guacamole, sour cream. I took a picture of all the sauces that I received in my last order but whoa to me I seem to have deleted it and can't recover it. I actually deleted it from my deleted photo album! Dang it! Anyways. this is been a favorite pick for me when I'm craving some simple Taqueria food that has options to fit my tastes. I will continue to give them some love.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The menudo is hands down the best in town, and the tacos are simply out of this world! Packed with incredible flavors, perfect texture, and cooked to perfection - you absolutely have to experience this place at least once! Not to mention, the spotless environment adds to the appeal. And let's not forget about the mouthwatering chili verde! Thank you so much, Carolina Excellent customer service! I am so glad I stopped by! It definitely will not be my last visit

Taqueria El Dorado is a place in my neighborhood that I have passed many times over the years and on a recent Wednesday at lunch time I stepped outside with no particular plan and headed down Meridian. Try something new? Sure, why not.Walking inside, it is a typical taqueria setup. There are some tables for eating in and a beverage chiller for selecting beer or sodas. Ordering is done at the counter and food is prepared in front of you and handed out at the pickup window. Service was friendly and prompt on the day I visited.Looking at the menu, they have breakfast combos and lunch/dinner combos. All items can also be ordered a la carte. They offer a choice of the standard meats which means even the basic tacos and burritos can be different depending on what is selected. On top of what is included in each item on the menu they also ask if you want to add onions and peppers. That's a no for me, but if that's your thing go right ahead.I had two meals from the items I ordered this day. I got out of there for less than 15 bucks so that's a decent value for the portion size and quality. I had:Crispy Taco: I chose ground beef for the meat. I ate this for lunch because crunchy shells can get mushy if not consumed in the moment. Their shells were house made and delicious. The ground beef was pretty plain tasting and a little watery, but they included some green and red taco sauces. I tried both and ended up thinking a mix of the two was best. The white shredded queso was exactly what I prefer on my tacos. The lettuce and tomato were very fresh. I liked this taco and for less than $4 would get it again, but maybe with a different meat next time, the ground beef didn't do much for me. 3.5/5Super Burrito: I picked carne asada as the meat. In addition, refried beans, rice, white shredded queso and sour cream and tomato were included. This was a big burrito. I had a couple bites with lunch and stashed it for later. The meat was pretty basic on this one too. The beans, rice and other ingredients were correct. All of the ingredients came together well and adding both sauces made it better. I thought this was a pretty good burrito for just north of $10 and would get it again, but maybe with al pastor next time. 3.5/5Overall I rate Taqueria El Dorado 3.5/5 stars, rounding up to 4 for potential. It's so close to home that I know I'll be back again.

They have the best salsa in town and the chicken enchiladas arereally deliscious. Thank you!

So have driven past this place a million times and we tried it today. The food is so so fresh. I told her I was a vegetarian and I ordered the tamale. They cover the tamale with enchilada sauce which has chicken broth so she asked me and gave me the relleno sauce. Holy crap you can drink that stuff!! I didn't love the salsa but the red hot sauce is perfection! It's so so so so so good and with that teller broth was a damn tasty bite! Am going back for sure. Sad I could have had it years ago!!!

I Ordered Chilaquiles and eggs and it was disgusting. I literally took two bites and left the entire plate after paying almost $20. The beans and rice were not bad. Don't know about the rest of the menu but don't order Chilaquiles. Absolutely awful.
