Tacos Y Mariscos El Gordo

Was in the area and spotted this food truck so me and my bf decided to try it. It is off to the side of target by el camino. Plenty of parking and it was quick service! They have a little seating area if you want to dine there.We ordered the quesabirria plate with consome, taco gobernador and a super quesadilla with chorizo.Quesabirria 9/10- the beef was seasoned well with a good portion of cheese/meat. The birria dip was delicious! Super quesadilla with chorizo 10/10- This was our favorite thing we tried! It's not just a traditional quesadilla with cheese, it also comes with lettuce, onions and avocado. Get it with chipotle sauce on the side, it was easily the best thing ever! The chorizo tasted amazing too and we would go back to get this again! Taco gobernador- 8/10 It is a shrimp taco with cheese and again tasted good! Overall, would come back here again to try other items on the menu! It is definitely one of the better food trucks I've tried. Highly recommend!

The best fish & shrimp tacos . Great service. The outside seating was clean , I felt safe and relaxed.

Solid little food truck on a corner of El Camino off a gas station. Three tables with canopies. Very straight forward but everything well maintained, neat, and clean. Fish tacos while fried were nicely seasoned and not oily with fresh toppings. While a full service taco truck, the seafood options all look really good for next time.

Yum! The seafood tacos are delicious. Fish ! Shrimp! The sopas are filing and beautiful with fresh ingredients .. fish octopus and fresh avocado I preferred the tacos during this visit. I will be back to try the whole menu. I'm a fan !

The Tacos was amazing and the nachos was on point! Big portions, more than what normal taco trucks usually give. The asada and pollo for my tacos was very good, they give a lot of meat and the tortillas was good too! The little things make all the difference, these guys are my fav taco trucks and trust me I've eaten A LOT of taco trucks here in this area! Definitely coming back!

Taco asada: 5/5The asada was excellent. The meat itself was the right amount of cooked (not too done, not too rare). Served with radish and grilled onion and fresh sliced cucumber. Well-seasoned asada taco, nothing to complain about here. Would come again for this, or perhaps to try a burrito filled with this yummy meat.Taco pastor: 3/5Merely okay. I'll have to come back again to try this item once more to see if it was a fluke, but if this was representative of the average pastor experience, I would probably pass on this one. Drier than my preference and I would prefer more spice. Not bad at all, but not excellent like the asada. Overall: 4/5. Will return again to try more of their menu.

Really liked the shrimp sope. It was really good. The flautas were a little dry, but the lettuce, sour cream and pico del gallo helped. The people were nice and I would try more of their stuff, for sure.... washed the sope down with Squirt, when was the last time you had a can of Squirt.

Better tacos than the other shops in the area and at a cheaper price. Definitely my go to place for lunch in the area.

10/10 experience! Went with the chorizo sopes and they were soooo delicious! The chorizo exceeded my expectations. It was very flavorful. We also tried the gobernador tacos, which were equally as great! The tortillas had the perfect crunch.The truck is remodeled, so if you're looking for it, it's the black one next to the gas station :) Will definitely be back to try everything on the menu!
